‘Survivors of the 9/11 attacks have written to Prime Minister Theresa May – urging her to make public a British government report into the extent of Saudi Arabia’s funding of Islamist extremism in the UK.

The report into the significance of the financing of Islamic extremists in Britain by Saudi Arabia and other nations was commissioned by Ms May’s predecessor, David Cameron, as part of a deal to obtain political support for a parliamentary vote on UK airstrikes on Syria.

Last week, British Home Secretary Amber Rudd said the report was not being published “because of the volume of personal information it contains and for national security reasons”. Green Party co-leader Caroline Lucas suggested the refusal to make public the report was linked to a reluctance to criticise the kingdom, with which Britain has long had close strategic and economic ties.’

‘A South Florida judge ruled the FBI is not improperly withholding information about funding of the 9/11 attacks after journalists tried to uncover connections between the hijackers and Saudis living in Florida at the time.

Florida Bulldog, an organization of investigative journalists, has been investigating connections between Saudis living in the US and the hijackers who crashed the planes into the Twin Towers and Pentagon in 2011. In total, 15 of the 19 hijackers involved were Saudi Arabian.

Judge Cecilia Altonaga ruled the FBI could keep secret certain portions of a 60-page document – a slide show called ‘Overview of the 9/11 investigation’ – the Herald Tribune reports.

Florida Bulldog sued the FBI in June 2016 for records from the 9/11 Review Commission. A redacted version of the 9/11 overview was released by the FBI in February.’

‘Yesterday’s news about the Grenfell Tower in London going up in flames has me a bit confused.

On September 11th, 2001 the Twin Towers in New York City both sustained a great amount of fire damage and each building collapsed at near free fall speed. They disintegrated into dust!

It is interesting how this did not happen with Grenfell Tower in London despite the entire structure being engulfed in flames.

I guess the laws of physics were just suspended yesterday, because any time a building catches fire it should collapse at free fall speed. The Twin Towers proved this!’

‘The official U.S. government line is that Iran is the main country responsible for the 9/11 attacks in America. On 9 March 2016, a U.S. civil court ruled that Iran must pay to some victims of the 9/11 attacks $10.5 billion in fines, and the Obama Administration had no comment, so the U.S. press ignored the verdict almost totally. But this verdict was the only official U.S. court ruling thus far about state-sponsorship of the 9/11 attacks, 16 years after the event. It was therefore huge news on 9 March 2016 — it created a precedent, for the U.S. government to allege that Iran had caused the 9/11 attacks and is consequently ‘the number one terrorist state’ (as Israelis have long claimed). But it received very little coverage at the time.

The event’s significance was the precedent that this verdict set, but most of the ‘news’media simply didn’t report this important precedent: it was the first official U.S. governmental conclusion alleging that Iran had, in effect, ‘invaded’ America, on 11 September 2001; and, yet, even now, no one is saying that Iran invaded the U.S. on 9/11, because the U.S. government isn’t yet trying to prepare the public to support an invasion of Iran by American forces. Still, this precedent could become the start for such preparation, if neither of America’s Iran-hating ‘allies’, Israel and/or Saudi Arabia, can be induced to invade.’

The Pentagon is not fighting to win the war in Afghanistan, but not to have the perception the US lost the war, said Brian Becker from the ANSWER Coalition. Any troop surge in Afghanistan will not be decisive, he added.

Afghanistan’s ambassador to the US said local Afghan forces should be able to deal with the Taliban threat themselves by 2020.

However, the Pentagon keeps considering whether to send more troops to the country. General Joseph Votel, Commander of the US Central Command, recently said he anticipated an increase in troops stationed in Afghanistan.

‘It just doesn’t get more blatant, guys.

When we visited Ground Zero last month, a 9/11 memorial guard told us it was supposed to be “a dove of peace”. Yeah right.

A bony “closed eye” structure dubbed Oculus has been erected over the rebuilt World Trade Center transportation hub that overlooks the new Ground Zero.

At a cost well over budget of $4 billion, Oculus is the “neofuturistic” design of architect Santiago Calatrava.’
