‘A powerful pro-Israel policy group with ties to the Obama administration and the Israeli military intelligence establishment is promoting plans for a “two state solution” that would subordinate Palestinians to Israeli military rule, supervised by a permanent U.S. military presence.

The plans have been put together by the Israel Policy Forum (IPF), a New York-based advocacy group founded in 1993 at the behest of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, to promote the Oslo peace process. Shortly after taking office in 2009, President Obama adopted the IPF’s Middle East “roadmap.”

Among the plan’s recommendations are the complete demilitarization of Palestine, despite it being defined as a “sovereign” territory, a comprehensive border surveillance infrastructure, and a permanent U.S. military operation to police the Jordan River.’

‘Israeli institutions and organizations are preparing to build the so-called “Third Temple” in place of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and are waiting for a political decision to start, Israeli channels reported.

Israeli TV reported, on the alleged anniversary of the temple’s destruction, that Israeli institutions which seek to build the temple were met with wide political and popular support.

It was noted that these institutions were previously marginalized but, nowadays, enjoy a political presence.’

‘Current talks between the EU and the US on the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) should be halted and new ones should be started, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Matthias Fekl told French media.

“There is no more political support in France for these negotiations,” and “France calls for an end to these negotiations,” Fekl told RMC radio. One of the problems of the deal lies in the US attitude towards the negotiations, he said.’

‘Libya remains embroiled in chaos. Its U.N.-backed government is falling apart, and internal wars continue to be waged on multiple fronts. ISIS ravages the north of the country. The U.S. is bombing it — again, in the second war in five years.

But what is rarely communicated in media reports is that the only reason ISIS is in Libya in the first place is because of the 2011 NATO regime change operation that toppled the government, giving Islamist extremists a vacuum in which to expand.

Western powers sold the 2011 bombing campaign as an ostensible humanitarian mission to protect rebels fighting the regime of Libya’s Muammar Qadhafi. Micah Zenko, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, used NATO’s own materials, however, to conclusively show that “the Libyan intervention was about regime change from the very start.”’

‘The US-backed Turkish invasion of Syria with its proxies in tow now moves further into Syria to seize Al-Bab in a landgrab to create Erdogan’s (and the U.S. neocon Brookings Institute’s) long desired jihadi “safe haven”/”no fly zone” for al-Qaeda & friends to operate and stage from with impunity from Russian and Syrian airstrikes.

Al-Bab is a “backdoor” on key routes south to Aleppo from the Turkish border.

Turkish supplies for the Islamic Army of Conquest offensives in South Aleppo and Latakia: arms, ammo, supplies, even artillery, tanks have been reported as flowing like water over the Turkish border’

‘The US says clashes between Turkish forces and opposition groups in northern Syria are “unacceptable.” Washington is concerned this will take the focus away from fighting Islamic State and give the terrorist group the possibility to capture more territory.

Turkey’s use of force against Kurdish forces in Syria has not gone down well with the US, with Washington openly supporting the Kurdish YPG fighters, who have proved to be a vital ground force in the battle against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).’
