“Seeing is believing.”
What would you think if we changed that idiom to “Believe it, and you will see it?”
Too often such shifts in thinking present challenges many find difficult, if not impossible, to believe and accept, especially those who suffer with chronic illnesses while wondering how they can find a cure, relief or acceptance of their “lot in life” that can, or will, ease their daily miseries.
There are various methods one can use, but biofeedback probably is the one healthcare professionals use the most to motivate their patients.
However, as a retired holistic healthcare professional, I was one who went out of my way to instill in my clients the importance of mind over matter, plus the extraordinary influences of using one’s voice to program how the body, mind and spirit react to positive affirmations. Those clients, who used vocal affirmations, improved faster than those who were skeptical. One affirmation most clients liked and used is “I am getting better every day in every way.”
There is a mysterious quality, plus value, how vibrations of the human voice can program and effectuate positive cellular reactions.
May I direct you to “The Power of Spoken Words” wherein Dr. Zahed says, “Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.” Furthermore, it’s been said those who sing hymns during church services, actually pray twice! Interesting?
One of the ways I encouraged individuals to use affirmations was to structure their spoken words toward specific health-affirming certainties so their bodies, minds, life energy meridians, Chi, and spirits can relate with positive assurances. By that I mean addressing the specific health issue, problem or chronic disease you want to be healed, e.g., heart disease, arthritis, cancer, specific acute or chronic health problem. That distinction, I found, can work wonders, especially when positive affirmations are used during prayer and meditation on a regular daily basis. One affirmation to start your routine could be “Today is the day the Lord hath made, I rejoice and am glad to receive blessings of health.”
If we can change our attitudes to be grateful, joyful and forgiving in spite of our sufferings, I contend we will experience special graces that put our minds at ease; program us to be relaxed, less nervous; and eventually we experience positive health changes that will be occurring in our bodies, even if they only are acceptance and peace of mind.
Esoterically there’s acknowledgement that disease first manifests within one’s aura, and eventually ‘downloads’ into the physical body at some point in time when we probably are most vulnerable, i.e., during stressful situations; engaging in addictions; or caught in an unrelenting condition known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Stress of any type adversely affects our adrenal glands, which allopathic medicine still is up in the air about whether it exists or not. However, if you feel you have adrenal stress, do your homework; seek out an integrative or holistic healthcare physician to discuss your symptoms; and find out what type of ancillary supplementation would be recommended for you.
Incidentally, humans manifest “several bodies”: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and astral bodies.
What is the Astral [Emotional] Body?
Historically in art, higher consciousness beings always are depicted with an aura around their head and shoulders.
Apparently one of the most incredible auras was that of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha. Buddha’s aura was believed to expand out to 3,500 kilometers from where Buddha stood!
Specific Affirmations to deal with health issues
I release all negative energy patterns from within my body, which prevent my body from healing.
I uplift and trust [name the disease] in my body is healing by the power of Light, Love and Higher Consciousness of Creator God, Source of all energies in the Universe.
I invoke, plus activate, all innate healing powers given to me when I came into the third dimension of Planet Earth and to be used for my highest good.
I place the radiant White Light of Creator God and the Violet Flame of Transformation around all my beings: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and etheric bodies to effectuate healing and wellness.
I open, clear, balance and release from my seven primary chakras all negative energy patterns that keep my body from healing.
I summon my body’s Parasympathetic and Sympathetic Nervous Systems to their fullest capacities for healing, health and wellness at every cellular level.
To all the above affirmations, you can add “And so it is.”
What most folks probably don’t realize is that we come into our current lives with “baggage” that’s being stored within our DNA—often referred to as “generational family baggage” or “family karma.” Hint: Forgiveness is the only release from family karma.
Family karma baggage may be stored within any of our seven primary chakras: Root, Sacrum, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye or Brow Chakra and Pineal gland, and the Crown Chakra immediately above our heads.
For some readers the above comment can be regarded as quite a stretch, depending upon one’s religious belief system you learned, and practiced, in your family from childhood forward. However, from antiquity there have been thousands of years of healing practices for moving energy around the body, i.e., acupuncture, which allows for the opening of closed and/or blocked energy systems in the body.
It is my belief that in the future all healing will be about “energy medicine” and how to move positive energy around for wellness. Currently, we are not quite there. That’s why many of us rely upon prayer, meditation and religious practices. Various practices, such as a Healing Sacrament, can be a tremendous uplifting religious resource. There’s nothing wrong with those practices; they help you grow in ways you cannot imagine.
I hope this information is helpful to those who feel you are at your wits ends and can’t seem to find help. Changing your mental attitude about healing your body so that you can experience creating a miracle of health and wellness may be only a few thoughts and affirmations away.
And so it is!
