This article is an antidote to the confusion of new-age misinformation and misdirection that tries to tell you about ‘real’ spirituality and how to achieve all sorts of fluffy stuff. I won’t go into who may be the good or bad players in the spiritual market but it is all, almost without exception, rubbish. Some of it is extremely negative; a great deal of it is simply copied. The information in this article gives you the basic tools to really fix things yourself. It is up to you as to whether you understand and use it or not. I did put this information into practice and this has led me to the obligation to write this. It is not my information it is yours. I did not even discover much of it myself (some credits and pointers are given at the end). With hopefully not too much pre-amble I will provide a powerful exercise of definite practical worth.
One important thing I will say about discerning who is genuine or not and David Icke is an excellent example of a genuine grown-up – In matters of the world if you identify with one side or another of the fundamental divisions you’re looking the wrong way. In matters of the spirit action is required now; inwardly (repair yourself) and outwardly (help others to see truth).
But let us start with a warning: This is ‘red pill’ type information. If you start sincerely down this road there is no going back (it becomes impossible because you won’t want to re-enter Plato’s cave and the world of shadows). Do not read on if you are happy to just have fancy tales and lovely descriptions in your life and do nothing. This is active, hard work here and it costs a great deal. You will be ultimately required to act. Time is running out. You are needed.
I am going to have to assume the audience has at least some knowledge of conventional and alternative viewpoints of religion/spirituality, universe, human origins, nature of reality, occultism, philosophy, politics, art, architecture, medicine, history, classics… I can’t list them all but you get the picture.
Things are VERY simple.
We are all individualised immortal expressions of the great consciousness, ‘suited and booted’ for this material experience. You are free to make up whatever reasons you like for this – it doesn’t matter, it just is.
We are all born equal, free and sovereign. We are, however, shackled and enslaved in a great number of ways from that moment on.
All authority of human over human is illegitimate, and more correctly called slavery – This is simply not ‘up for debate’.
Natural Law governs all (inside and out). You may also call it Gods law, Karma, Law of Causality or whatever – it doesn’t care, but you must learn about it!
This definition of Natural Law I really like is from Mark Passio (www.whatonearthishappening.com).
Natural Law is Universal, non-man-made, binding and immutable conditions that govern the consequences of behaviour. Natural Law is a body of UNIVERSAL SPIRITUAL LAWS which act as the governing dynamics of consciousness.’
So, what is the originating divide and rule?
It doesn’t matter if you believe this was done to us intentionally in the past or not. We are just concerned with facts here. Whatever your standpoint it cannot be denied that there is an odd thing about humans. Our neo-cortex is divided into two hemispheres (blobs) that appear to have differing characteristics (male/female, logic/creativity, dog/cat etc.) and sharing between them nervous pathways with organs on opposing sides of the body. E.g. if you shut your left eye and look through your right it is the left blob receiving and processing the visual data. They divide the work of interpreting the senses between the two of them in a rather elegant way. (Advice: A detailed study of the structure of the brain and nervous system please, don’t take my word for it). But there is a big problem. The two blobs communicate with their own areas of responsibility very well but they hardly communicate with each other at all. This is because they are joined by the corpus callosum which has very few neurons passing between; barely enough in fact. You might say creating a divide which unfortunately leaves us vulnerable to rule from outside (get it?). As a consequence of our upbringing the two sides develop separately and lop-sided one being more dominant than the other. In almost everybody it is a well defined imbalance and in many it is extreme. It happens in both directions left and right. It is the root of all our problems. All other divisions in humankind stem from this. Clever huh? Yes clever, but not very nice.
I hope you are starting to realise that if you begin to fix this problem a new world of understanding will begin to emerge.
How do we fix it?
How do we redress the balance, and find our new world? It is beautifully simple to start but very difficult and arduous to earn the rewards from. You must pay dearly with your two most valuable currencies; Time and Attention. (Forget actual money as it is evil personified) You will have to live two distinct lives; an inner one dedicated solely to this and an outer one to satisfy people around you. Everything must be considered worthy of study especially yourself. You must do the things given below without expecting a personal result, we do it for everyone, but remember we too are included in that. I personally guarantee that if you persevere you will achieve results. What those results are is another matter.
Practical advice and detailed exercise.
Meditation – An absolutely useless waste of time at this stage of our development.
It’s only good for becoming conscious of the body and nurturing your relationship with it, good way of finding habitual tensions and practising relaxation etc. At best you are in a place where you can study the monkeys flinging poo in your head and get to know them – you will, by and by teach yourself how to distract them so you can work. Ultimately they can be trained.
Solitude – Definitely not. Learn to work all the time, everywhere.
In life we are in the Gnostics ‘psychological gymnasium’ make the most of all the equipment provided – no pain no gain. As annoying as it really is if you are successful in interpreting and properly navigating difficulties in your life you will get new ones, sometimes more difficult to deal with. But the result of having already done some genuine work is that you are better equipped for the next round – Another elegance provided by nature!
Study – YES. It is difficult but you have to go through a lot of crap before you find pearls I could give you the names of ten books out of hundreds that I’ve read that have some actual truth in them but you must and will do this for yourself. David Ickes latest book has a tremendous amount condensed into one place, but you also need to use it to expand you own personal search and research so follow up on references etc. Other than that you’re on your own. My own personal favourite Teacher and I don’t care what you think is G. I. Gurdjieff – his books only. Not what anyone else wrote about him or his stuff. In particular avoid ‘commentaries’.
What is the exercise? – If you have been paying attention you may already have an idea.
Close one eye and for a whole in/out breath through your nose, concentrate your attention on what you are looking at.
Swap eyes – whole breath, attention etc.
Swap eyes – etc.
That’s it. Really? Yes really, but pay now careful attention my lovelies;
You have to do it a lot and when I say a lot I mean much, much more than that:
20 minutes a day – useless
1 hour a day – pretty poor
4 hours in a day – getting better
All day – perfect, thank you.
Clearly you are going to build up gradually but it’s not difficult is it? I spent three years at least, doing tons and tons before I was absolutely sure of what resulted but became aware long before that of certain effects. I couldn’t quantify how much I did it for – certainly I only ever managed a near whole day once or twice. I still do it.
The stunning beauty of this exercise is that you can do it anywhere at any time (and should), I would even do it in the street, head down so people didn’t see. Wear dark glasses and do it everywhere! As you have a lot of reading to do now do it while you’re reading. Do it while you cook, walk, work wherever you can. Obviously you don’t do it while you’re performing surgery or something dangerous.
The exercise used to be performed in esoteric schools using the nose instead. This exquisite modern version was revealed FOR US TO USE RIGHT NOW, allegorically by G. I. Gurdjieff and uncovered by an author called John Henderson (excavations of the buried dog - The single exception to my rule on books about Mr Gurdjieff).
How does it work?
It is primarily a physical exercise which crosses over into the psychological.
Each swap activates the corresponding blob to become active over the other and vice versa. By doing this you begin to balance the blob activity. At the same time I believe as with other physical exercises that new tissue is built, in this case in the corpus callosum (Fact check: I have absolutely no direct evidence to back this up). You can utilise your creative imagination to enhance the process by visualising new connections. It is important that you breathe through your nose because the air passes over different spaces to when you breathe through your mouth. (Advice: Look into this, your skull is part of your workshop and has chambers, tools and equipment for experimenting with sound, air, scent as well as consciousness).
If you don’t believe any of this you haven’t done enough research or are too imbalanced, if you do believe this and still haven’t researched you too are imbalanced. Confusing isn’t it?
You should also have a collection of other practices and activities aimed at balancing. i.e. if you are left-blob dominant you may not paint or create so do it, try it, enjoy it. No-one cares whether you’re good at it or not, that’s not the point. We need to start to see the imbalance as this too helps correct it.
There is one more important thing. If you are properly serious then read all of this out loud to yourself and pay attention to what you are reading (seeing) and hearing simultaneously. You should read anything important out loud to yourself because one of the blobs does not pay attention to quiet reading, it couldn’t care less and would much rather hum a tune or repeat a rhyme. It will however LISTEN and loves stories and interesting things.
Be kind to yourself don’t get hung up on judging your perceived progress or not. I wasted a fair amount of time trying to know what to look for or how to tell it’s working. It works, just keep doing it. When I did start to sense change it was not what I could have guessed or expected – it is much more beautiful and you WILL know.
Other essential Resources:
Mark Passio: three part presentation on natural law. A brilliant and concise relating of natural law and other essential knowledge. www.whatonearthishappening.com(videos) Ten hours or so long but worth every second. I would love to meet him.
G.I. Gurdjieff – All of his books and only his books. Especially include Herald of coming good.
Larken Rose – The most dangerous superstition.
Yourself – As you progress (but give it time), you become a resource of understanding for yourself. You may learn how to further interpret and use emotions more usefully. Who knows what else; you may even start to receive visits from the true master of your house who has suffered a forced absence.
I AM THOU
THOU ART I,
HE IS OURS,
WE BOTH ARE HIS,
SO MAY ALL BE,
FOR OUR NEIGHBOUR
Here are some upsetting aphorisms to stir up some hornets;
If you do not start now vocally and practically withdrawing your consent and helping others to do the same; YOU CONSENT to being farmed.
Eating slaughtered meat is participating in and giving consent to blood sacrifice.
Being in IGNOREance, not seeking Truth is death.
Violence only harms you, but force may be needed to respond to violence. Force in defence does not violate Natural Law.
No further steps along the way can be trod until you bring others to your level.
