Police said that at least six people, including an officer, have been confirmed injured after a gunman opened fire on a packed bar in Thousand Oaks, California. The scene is still considered active.
The shooter is still at large, it is understood.

A law enforcement source told the LA Times that approximately 30 shots were fired and that victims were at multiple locations as they fled. Police were apparently advised that the suspect was a Middle Eastern man in his early 20s with a beard and wearing all black clothing. That has not been confirmed officially, though.

Witnesses describing the moment the gunman opened fire said the man first shot the guard at the door with a handgun. The alleged perpetrator then threw smoke bombs into the bar and continued shooting.
The FBI are now at the scene of the shooting and the bomb squad has been requested.'
