Full Spectrum Cynicism: Yemen and the Art of International Subterfuge

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 11:18 By David Icke

‘This week’s Washington-backed Saudi attack on the country of Yemen is a reminder of this cynical practice. Saudi warplanes, supplied with US intelligence data, began bombing Sanaa, the Yemeni capital, in an effort to dislodge the Shiite Houthi militias from their positions. A few weeks earlier these tribal mountain fighters had ousted Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, Yemen’s puppet president, and seized control not only of the capital, but also of large swathes of the country.

The Saudis and the State Department have justified the intervention on the grounds that the Houthi are supposedly Iranian stooges, and that the removal of the US-installed president will leave Yemen open to radical Islamic terrorists linked to al-Qaeda. Such charges, which are dubious at best, have no basis in reality, as Justin Raimondo of Antiwar.com points out:’

The Money Trail: How the US Fostered Yemen’s Separatist Movement

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 11:11 By David Icke

‘As Saudi Arabia and its allies have begun the bombing campaign against Yemen, in the south, a separatist movement calling for a “State of South Arabia” is emerging. Fostered by the US, it will leave the Houthis with two hostile states at their borders and locked access to the sea, if it succeeds.

Welcome to phase two of US regime change operations. After Yemen’s 2011 revolution failed and Houthi militias overthrew President Hadi, forces trained and sponsored by the US government are being activated as a separatist movement.’

Aristocrats ‘feel entitled to abuse people’ says son of the 10th Earl of Sandwich who was raped by his father as a child

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 11:10 By David Icke

‘Those from noteworthy families often feel entitled to abuse young people according to Robert Montagu, the son of the 10th Earl of Sandwich who was abused by his own father as a boy.

He made the comments at the Oxford Literary Festival while discussing his book, A Humour Of Love, in which he reveals years of abuse, including a single rape, carried out by father Victor.

Mr Montagu said that, during his years at Eton, rape was common, adding that people with ‘entitled backgrounds’ were given ‘more opportunities’ to be abusive towards children.’

Police whistleblower claims Theresa May IGNORED child sex abuse ring warnings

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 11:05 By David Icke

‘A police whistleblower has accused the Home Secretary of ignoring warnings of an alleged child sex abuse cover-up.

Harry Bunker, 72, claimed Theresa May failed to reply when he wrote to allege two senior South Yorkshire Police officers protected paedophile pals during the 1970s.

The letter – seen by the Sunday Mirror – accused the pair of trying to sabotage one investigation where a dad admitted raping his daughters.’

Enoch Powell is named by bishop in sex abuse probe: Scotland Yard to investigate satanic abuse claim – and demands to see files held on serving MPs

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 10:52 By David Icke

‘The probe into an alleged paedophile network at the heart of the British Establishment took an explosive turn last night with the revelation that Enoch Powell’s name has been passed to police.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that the late Tory MP, one of the most prominent and divisive politicians of the 20th Century, has been named to Scotland Yard by the Bishop of Durham. The claims relate to ‘ritual satanic abuse’.

And in a further development to the sex-ring investigations, police are to be given access to secret files held on MPs in the House of Commons archives as they hunt for evidence on suspected abusers, including former Liberal MP Cyril Smith.’

‘Economic Genocide’: Ukraine Cuts off Payment of Pensions to One Million Senior Citizens in Donbass

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 10:47 By David Icke

‘Ukraine wants to improve the state of its economy at the expense of a million of lives of the retired people in Donbass

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted in 1948 by the UN General Assembly secured the key rights that all the people should possess. The regime that was established in Kiev after the coup of 2014 had de facto abolished the implementation of this document in regard to a group of citizens of Ukraine.

As we know, Kiev keeps on considering the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s Republics a part of Ukraine. Hypocritically declaring “the unity of the country” and “the anti-terrorist operation” in order to please the West, in reality Kiev authorities are engaged in the genocide of the population of the region with the aim of improvement of Ukraine’ s economy at the expense of human lives.’

Germany Accuses NATO of ‘Dangerous Propaganda’. America’s Strategic Objective is to Prevent a German-Russian Alliance

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 10:40 By David Icke

‘The German Chancellery is right with its critique. In my opinion, something dangerous is happening right now: US generals like Breedlove are trying to provoke a war, where Germans and Russians would kill each other in order to weaken both countries. This is a cynical, actually a diabolical plan. But this is exactly what US strategist like Georg Friedman, director of the Stratfor think tank, are suggesting. United, Germany and Russia are the only power that could threaten the US, Friedman said in a speech in February 2015 in Chicago.

“Our primordial interest [preventing a German-Russian alliance] is to ensure that will never happen,” said Friedman.’

Hillary Clinton’s Presidential Campaign is Now Effectively Over

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 10:25 By David Icke

‘Hillary Clinton’s unannounced campaign for the U.S. Presidency has already failed. Her arrogance (or else stupidity) in having wiped clean the hard drive of the private server she had used for her emails while she was the U.S. Secretary of State adds insult to the injury already done to her incipient campaign by the earlier revelation that she had evaded the State Department’s record-keeping system and had used her private server for all of her State Department emails and not only for her personal emails. (The NYT had headlined March 2nd: “Hillary Clinton Used Personal Email at State Dept., Possibly Breaking Rules.”) ‘

Disabled teacher in Gaza inspires his students to never give up

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 10:19 By David Icke

‘In swift but careful movements, Ahmed al-Sawaferi, 25, moves around his tiny apartment. The same hand that places a teapot on the fire then maneuvers his wheelchair as he gets his things ready for the day ahead.

It’s time to say goodbye to his children: Jana, 4 and Motasem 10 months – before he leaves for Safad School in Zaytoun, one of the areas next to Shejaiya, east of Gaza City, a neighbourhood hard hit in last summer’s attack by Israel. He drives to the school determined to be as independent as possible and ensure that his own will should decide his future and not his disability.

As he makes his way around his neighbourhood, he cannot help but remember how drastically his life changed in a split second last year. One minute he was heading home to study for an exam and the next an Israeli missile struck and both his legs and one of his arms were torn from his body, rendering him wheelchair bound.’

Tory and UKIP MEPS vote AGAINST proposals to crack down on tax dodging

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 10:12 By David Icke

‘On Wednesday, Conservative and UKIP MEPs voted against proposals in the European Parliament which were aimed at making the tax system fairer, including cracking down on tax evasion and aggressive tax avoidance.

In its Annual Tax Report, the European Parliament proposed concrete measures to tackle immoral tax practices, including making companies report where they make their profits and where they pay their taxes. It also proposed an agreed Europe-wide definition of tax havens that would allow tax dodgers to be named and shamed.

The report was passed by a cross-party selection of MEPs by 444 votes to 110, with 41 abstensions.’

The Desecration of Devon: The Duchess of Cornwall’s son-in-law has just built this 50-acre solar farm. And through green levies on your power bills, YOU are paying for it … £430,000 every year

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 09:59 By David Icke

‘It is an English landscape of quintessential beauty, whose many shades of green contrast sharply with the red, loamy soil: a place of steep, broad hills and ancient stone churches, where magnificent open vistas stretch from the crags of Dartmoor to the sea at Dawlish.

South East Devon has inspired many writers, such as Thomas Hardy, Michael Morpurgo and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. But today, one of its jewels, Haldon Ridge, in the heart of an officially designated Area of Great Landscape Value close to the Dartmoor National Park, is being desecrated.

Thanks to a company controlled by Harry Lopes, the former underwear model who is the son-in-law of the Duchess of Cornwall, running along the road at the top of the Ridge for close to a mile is the edge of a giant 50-acre solar panel energy farm.’

Archbishops’ anger as supermarkets snub Easter eggs featuring Jesus in favour of Darth Vader

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 09:53 By David Icke

‘Supermarkets have been accused of pursuing an ‘anti- Christian agenda’ after refusing to sell Easter eggs with a religious message.

Some of Britain’s biggest stores are celebrating the most profound event in the Church calendar by offering treats featuring everything from Darth Vader to Postman Pat – but turned down products that mention Jesus.

One chain even asked ‘what has Easter got to do with the Church?’, according to the makers of The Real Easter Egg, which features Christian crosses on the box and contain a leaflet telling the story of the Resurrection.

Now Archbishop of York John Sentamu has stepped in – urging Sainsbury’s, Asda and the Co-op to stock the charity eggs – while former Archbishop of Canterbury George Carey said he was ‘saddened’ by the three supermarket giants’ decision.’

Former Labour health minister attacks Miliband’s plan to cap profits of private firms that provide NHS services

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 09:52 By David Icke

‘ED Miliband’s pledge to rein in NHS ‘privatisation’ by capping profits of firms providing care has come under fierce attack from a former Labour health minister.

As Labour made the NHS the central issue of its election campaign launch, Lord Warner accused his party leadership of scaremongering and risking patient care.

He said competition between different providers was vital to ensure the NHS can cope with spikes in demand, which occur most winters.

‘It is very difficult for the NHS to cope with the peaks and troughs of demand without the involvement of the private sector,’ he said.’

Virgin Care among firms with lucrative NHS deals and a tax haven status

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 09:47 By David Icke

‘Virgin Care, which has been handed contracts worth hundreds of millions of pounds to run more than 230 NHS and social care services, is one of at least 10 private health firms seeking state-funded contracts whose company structures include tax havens, it can be revealed.

An analysis by Richard Murphy, a chartered accountant at Tax Research UK, has found 13 holding companies, some of them offshore, between Virgin Care and its ultimate parent company, based in the British Virgin Islands.’

NHS pays management experts £10million – to tell it to axe thousands of beds … but ‘hushes up’ bombshell reports as the Election looms

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 09:42 By David Icke

‘NHS bosses have been accused of covering up plans to close A&E units and cut hospital beds – after paying £10million for reports they are now refusing to publish.

They have paid management consultants including KPMG a total of £10,282,593 for advice on ‘improving long-term affordability’ across 11 regions that cover 13million people.

The Mail on Sunday has seen a leaked copy of one of the secret reports, recommending the closure of all emergency services at one hospital and the removal of potentially hundreds of beds, sparking fears of plans for widespread cuts in other areas.

Such concerns are stoked by an official, watered-down summary of the project, which mentions the need for ‘tough decisions’ to balance the books in the 11 ‘challenged’ areas, where budgets are being overspent.’

Ed Davey refuses to back wind farms in Lib Dem target seats

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 09:18 By David Icke

‘A plan to build a series of wind farms across a huge swathe of unspoilt countryside has been given the green light but the decision is being kept secret.

The proposed turbines and almost 30 miles of pylons to connect them to the National Grid are so unpopular that Ed Davey, the Energy and Climate Change Secretary and a Liberal Democrat MP, has refused to commit to a planning decision ahead of the general election.

According to sources, three giant wind farms, spread across an area of Mid Wales stretching from Machynlleth to Welshpool, have been agreed but will need rubber-stamping by the incoming secretary of state.

A planning inspector has recommended permission be given for the farms. They each consist of between 17 and 65 turbines up to 450ft tall – equivalent to the height of the London Eye. In all, almost 200 could be built in the coming years.’

Soldiers patrolling Broad Street, Birmingham with police officers ‘to keep clubbers safe’ (Yeah, right)

To get people used to it more like.

‘The Royal Military Police are patrolling with beat bobbies in the nightlife hotspots of Broad Street and Hurst Street – to protect clubbers and tackle thugs.

Such joint patrols are common in Garrison Towns like Aldershot and Bulford, but with soldiers regularly heading to Birmingham for nights out, the Red Caps were keen to gain experience of policing a thriving city centre.

Police Sergeant Dave Francis, of West Midlands Police, said their army counterparts been welcomed to Birmingham by bar managers, door staff and partygoers.’

Homelessness in London soars by 79% since 2010 – report

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 09:00 By David Icke

‘The number of people sleeping rough on the streets of London has risen by over one-third in the past year, new government figures reveal. The crisis has prompted homelessness charities to call for sweeping reforms.

A report published by the Department for Communities and Local Government found that levels of homelessness in the capital rose by 37 percent between 2013 and 2014. The rest of the country also saw rises, averaging at 14 percent.

The figures are an embarrassing failure for London Mayor Boris Johnson, who has always publicly claimed to put homelessness at the top of his agenda. He previously pledged to eradicate the problem by as long ago as 2012.’

Geoengineered Disasters in Latin America

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 08:40 By David Icke

‘There’s nothing natural about the recent climate disasters in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. 7 years’ worth of rain just fell in Chile in 12 hours, while several feet of hail was dumped on areas of northern Ecuador and southern Colombia, both on or very near the equator.

Tell me that’s by natural causes.

We know the hydrological cycle has been completely disrupted via massive aerosol spraying and its manipulation by a worldwide array of HAARP type technologies. As Dane Wigington pointed out:’

Drought in São Paulo: Brazil’s Megacity on Verge of Crisis as Water Rationing and Shutoffs Continue

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 08:39 By David Icke

‘The past three months have seen the driest winter in 84 years in southeastern Brazil. Water shortages are now critical in São Paulo, home to twenty million people. The city’s primary reservoir is fluctuating between 6-13% of capacity, and officials are estimating São Paolo’s reserves will last a mere 90 days without additional rainfall. The rainy season, from December through February, is over, and sadly, recent flooding within the city has not raised main reservoir levels, which are located further inland.

The primary reservoir at Cantareira feeding much of the metropolitan city is nearly bone-dry. People in São Paulo are resorting to deliveries from bicycle riders carrying jugs of water. Others are digging their private wells on their own land or even in basements, which can lead to contamination issues. Those who can afford it are hoarding water, and the more resourceful are using cisterns and building rainwater catchment systems. Local rivers are polluted due to sewage problems and cannot be used for drinking water. Some have simply fled the city, becoming 21st century “water refugees”.’

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 08:29 By David Icke

‘The European Commission has warned EU citizens that they should close their Facebook accounts if they want to keep information private from US security services, finding that current Safe Harbour legislation does not protect citizen’s data.

The comments were made by EC attorney Bernhard Schima in a case brought by privacy campaigner Maximilian Schrems, looking at whether the data of EU citizens should be considered safe if sent to the US in a post-Snowden revelation landscape.

“You might consider closing your Facebook account, if you have one,” Schima told attorney general Yves Bot in a hearing of the case at the European court of justice in Luxembourg.’

Should Children be Allowed to try Cannabis Before Chemotherapy?

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 08:02 By David Icke

‘As the movement to legalize cannabis continues to gain momentum, and as more research is conducted, we are discovering that this easy-to-grow plant is effective in treating many difficult illnesses, and surprisingly many types of deadly cancers. Cancer treatment in the U.S. has become its own industry, and even though chemotherapy admittedly over-prescribed and is known to have many devastating side effects, chemo and radiation are still the treatments most touted by doctors and the medical establishment.

Many people are seeking out medical marijuana as an alternative to conventional cancer treatment, and success stories are easy to find. Yet, underage cancer patients sometimes find that their legal rights when fighting cancer are unclear, and that when the state decides to intervene, their personal sovereignty may be compromised.’

The idea of a bank deposit tax was raised by Labor in 2013 and was criticised by Tony Abbott at the time.

Jewish group contacted History Museum before it axed panel including Palestinian activists

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 07:44 By David Icke

‘A Jewish group expressed concern over a panel scheduled to include Palestinian activists before it was canceled by the Missouri History Museum, emails provided to the Business Journal show.

An event scheduled for last week at the museum was canceled after Washington University students refused to remove Palestinian activists from the event, called “Ferguson to Ayotzinapa to Palestine: Solidarity and Collaborative Action.”

Museum President Frances Levine told the Business Journal then that she canceled the event because it had not been planned properly by her staff, not because of the inclusion of Palestinian activists.’

Google controls what we buy, the news we read — and Obama’s policies

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 07:37 By David Icke

‘It’s 2020. The New England Patriots, winners of six straight Super Bowls, are having yet another routine meeting with the Commissioner’s Office.

Deputy NFL Commissioner Tom Brady and his chief of staff, Rob Gronkowski, OK a rule change that forgives the Patriots for illegally taping other teams and deflating football over the preceding years. Meanwhile, members of the Patriots continue to happily contribute funding for the commissioner’s new 45-room castle in Turks and Caicos, and Bill Belichick agrees to continue coaching the commissioner’s 12-year-old son in Pop Warner football.

Would that bother anyone? Because the above is pretty much going on today, only the team is called Google and the commissioner is the president of the United States.’

California farmers begin selling water instead of crops as drought reaches critical stage

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 07:31 By David Icke

‘California farmers are making more money selling water than planting their fields in some cases. The rice industry in the Sacramento Valley has really been struggling with this year’s drought. Some farmers are choosing not to plant this year and are cashing in on their water rights instead.

This controversial move on the part of the farmers is not a cut and “dry” deal. “In the long term, if we don’t make it available we’re afraid they’ll just take it,” said Charlie Mathews, a fourth-generation rice farmer with senior rights to Yuba River water.’

Terrifying: Why Are People in Kazakhstan Falling Asleep for Days?

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 07:25 By David Icke

‘Hundreds of residents of Kalachi, a small town near a former Soviet Union uranium mine in Kazakhstan, have been suffering from a mysterious sleeping sickness that causes them to fall asleep for two to six days and wake up with significant memory loss.

While the eerie sickness was first reported in 2010, cases have been emerging in droves since March 2013. Other symptoms include feeling dizzy, being unable to stand up and extreme fatigue. The Russian Times reports that eight children fell asleep within an hour during the first week of school, and several months later, 60 people were hit with the disease on the same day.’

This Is the Real Human Toll of the Western ‘War on Terror’

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 07:21 By David Icke

‘The United States has been at war since October 2001, and this week marked the 12th anniversary of the beginning of its most deadly campaign in Iraq. The toll to American society has certainly been severe: diminishing civil liberties, rising Islamophobia, thousands of soldiers killed and tens of thousands more wounded, and trillions of dollars spent.

But the worst consequences have been for the countries that have been subject to bombings, invasions, occupations, and sectarian strife touched off by the rapid collapse of established order. There have been few and feeble attempts to estimate the human toll paid by countries in the Middle East and South Asia, where the majority of violence in the war on terror has taken place.’

France Must Pay Restitution to Haiti: President François Hollande’s Forthcoming State Visit To Haiti

Sunday 29th March 2015 at 07:16 By David Icke

‘In 1825, French ruler King Charles X offered to recognize Haiti’s independence on the condition that the new Black Republic pays 150 million gold francs in ransom. The extorted bounty was distributed to white slave holders for the loss of “property” they claim to have suffered as a result of the abolitionist Haitian Revolution.

This illegal and barbaric ransom was collected from 1825 to 1947. It was collected by violent means with an official ordinance of the French State which threatened to re-enslave the self-liberated Africans.’

Israel seeking to demolish ancient Palestinian village

‘Israel is seeking to demolish the ancient Palestinian village of Susya in the southern part of the occupied West Bank under the pretext of doing “archaeological work” at the site.

The regime is trying to obtain permission from a high court to flatten the Palestinian village to prepare that ground for “more archaeological work at the site,” Israeli media reported on Sunday.

Tel Aviv plans to relocate the village residents to the nearby city of Yatta in al-Khalil (Hebron).’
