Joseph Weekley, Cop Who Fatally Shot Sleeping Seven-Year-Old, Will No Longer Face Charges

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 07:48 By David Icke

‘The Detroit police officer who fatally shot a sleeping 7-year-old girl will not be retried, officials said Wednesday.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said in a statement that her office was moving to dismiss the case against Officer Joseph Weekley. He was originally charged with involuntary manslaughter and careless discharge of a firearm causing death, a misdemeanor, after Aiyana Stanley-Jones was killed in 2010 during a botched police raid at her home.

Weekley’s first trial in 2013 ended in a mistrial. In a second trial last year, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Cynthia Gray Hathaway dismissed the manslaughter charge after a motion by the defense. The jury again deadlocked while deliberating whether to convict Weekley of the lesser charge, causing a second mistrial.’

Oligarchy and the War on Individualism

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 07:32 By David Icke

‘All the social systems controlled by the figurative 1% and opposed by the 99%, all the institutions that any compassionate person would liken to fascist or feudal, all have been instigated, implemented and reinforced by people. I know that I alone cannot change such systems; this is guaranteed by the combined oligarchical complex of government, corporate, financial and military, all formed in a steep pyramid system with “the 1%” (those in control) atop and “the 99%” (those under control) below.

But it is perfectly obvious that if a system is simply the creation of people, then people can change that system – with serenity, courage and wisdom. And since the systems in question operate at the progressive expense of our physical environment and personal freedoms, it is no longer a question of whether people can force such change, but when.’

Crude conspiracy theories could be right, study shows

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 07:29 By David Icke

‘Researchers from the Universities of Portsmouth, Warwick and Essex modelled the decision-making process of third-party countries in interfering in civil wars and examined their economic motives.

They found that the decision to interfere was dominated by the interveners’ need for oil over and above historical, geographical or ethnic ties.’

Greece’s new prime minister wants Germany to pay for Nazi war crimes

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 07:21 By David Icke

‘After the seismic victory of Greece’s leftist Syriza party in national polling Sunday, the country’s new prime minister, 40-year-old Alexis Tsipras, is leading all of Europe down an uncertain path.

Syriza has vowed to renegotiate the crippling debts saddled on the Greek economy by European lenders — a move that some fear could threaten the unity of the eurozone. Tsipras and his allies, meanwhile, see their ascension as a historic opportunity, as WorldViews discussed here.

But it’s not just the future that’s on Syriza’s agenda. In what was virtually his first act as prime minister Monday, Tsipras journeyed to the memorial site at the Kaisariani rifle range, where in 1944 Nazi soldiers executed some 200 Greek activists in retaliation for the death of a German officer killed in a Greek ambush.’

Measles Police State: ‘Parents who do not vaccinate their children should go to jail’

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 07:16 By David Icke

‘Never mind the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and other basic freedoms that uphold parents’ rights to make decisions about the health care their children receive.

Never mind the evidence that vaccines aren’t as effective as their makers have promised.

Shutter to think, according to the Office of Medical and Scientific Justice, “the theory of ‘herd immunity’ is failing or was flawed to begin with” while a 2014 Council on Foreign Relations report found:

“the most highly vaccinated populations are also those with the greatest number of outbreaks for those same infectious diseases. This was especially the case for measles, mumps, rubella, polio and pertussis outbreaks,” with the U.S. Canada and rest of the Western world leading the list.’

Researchers Seek to Track Mental Health Through Social Media

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 07:12 By David Icke

‘The Feds have made their intentions known about conducting surveillance on a range of social media platforms covering everything from political speech, activist assembly, and even health. In tandem with corporate data harvesters, open public forums like Twitter and Facebook can provide a wealth of knowledge about general behavior, as well as real-time monitoring of activities.

Troubling new research from the University of Rochester (full press release below) aims to go a step further: turning “any computer or smartphone with a camera into a personal mental health monitoring device.”

That’s right, mental health.’

Spain blames Israel for death of peacekeeper

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 07:08 By David Icke

‘Spain’s ambassador to the United Nations is blaming Israel for the death of a Spanish U.N. peacekeeper during the Israeli military’s exchange of fire with the Lebanese militant Hezbollah group in the occupied Shebaa Farms.

“It was because of this escalation of violence, and it came from the Israeli side,” Spanish Ambassador Roman Oyarzun Marchesi told reporters.

The U.N. peacekeeper has been identified as Cpl. Francisco Javier Soria Toledo, 36, and U.N. officials have said only that the cause of his death is under investigation.

The Security Council condemned the peacekeeper’s death in the strongest terms and offered its deepest sympathies.’

Ukrainian Oligarch Fugitives Wanted by Interpol, Pay Bribes for Israeli Citizenship

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 07:03 By David Icke

‘Galey Tzahal (Army Radio) reported today that Israel welcomed with open arms two Ukrainian oligarchs wanted by Interpol for serious crimes. The suspects, Yuri Borisov and Eduard Stavitsky, are suspected of embezzlement and money-laundering in Ukraine. They flew into Ben Gurion airport and received Israeli entry visas.

Borisov’s visa was approved for the purposes of medical treatment, though it’s not clear what, if anything ails him except him criminal predicament. Borisov fled Israel immediately after the arrest of Yisrael Beitenu MK Faina Kirschenbaum, but stayed long enough (about a month) to get citizenship and passports for him and his entire family.

They were granted citizenship despite the fact that one of them isn’t Jewish and both are wanted fugitives and suspected criminals. These matters should make them automatically ineligible for citizenship.

Learn how to protect yourself from cancer-causing microwave radiation

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 06:51 By David Icke

‘It’s time to recognize a simple, yet alarming truth. We are all living in a sea of microwave radiation – generated by microwave ovens, cell phones and Wi-Fi ‘hot spots’. This exposure represents one of the greatest threats to human health, and the telecommunication industry does NOT want you to know the truth about electromagnetic frequencies. (EMFs)

The stakes are very high. We are seeing an epidemic rise in the rates of autism, chronic fatigue and stress-related diseases like cancer. On the next NaturalNews Talk Hour, Jonathan Landsman and David Carpenter, M.D., an environmental health expert, talk about what you need to know to protect yourself from EMFs.’

EPA approves continued heavy spraying of neurotoxic pesticide that causes brain damage in children

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 06:49 By David Icke

‘The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released an assessment detailing the health and environmental risks associated with the pesticide chlorpyrifos, a chemical developed by Dow AgroSciences in 1965 that’s widely sprayed on a variety of crops.

The EPA’s report, released on December 31, updates the June 2011 preliminary human health risk assessment based on new information. The report acknowledges that chlorpyrifos poses a notable threat particularly “to workers who mix, load and apply chlorpyrifos pesticide products.”

The report also notes the potential of chlorpyrifos to contaminate drinking water: “When used in large amounts in small watersheds in certain geographic areas, chlorpyrifos also shows potential risks from drinking water.”‘

Is Fox News Spewing More Lies Than Ever?

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 06:41 By David Icke

‘Fox News promotes the most false information among TV news outlets, according to a fact-checking watchdog – and the problem is only getting worse.

Politifact regularly examines claims made on air by pundits, hosts, or paid contributors and rates those statements by accuracy.

The latest scorecard showed more than 60 percent of the claims made on Fox News were mostly false or worse – and half of all claims were either demonstrably false or outright lies.’

Israel Threatens War Following Clashes with Hezbollah

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 06:29 By David Icke

‘Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened war in Lebanon and Syria on Wednesday, saying that Israel is prepared to act “on all fronts” following an attack that killed two Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers near Israel’s northern border.

Seven more were wounded in the attack, when anti-tank missiles struck an IDF military vehicle traveling near Har Dov. One Spanish soldier, attached to a UN peacekeeping force and deployed with the IDF troops, was also killed.

The incidents are only the latest in two days of intermittent fighting between the IDF and Hezbollah militants in the Golan Heights, which have seen the contending forces launch missile and artillery attacks across the Lebanese-Israeli border. The clashes are the most significant in the Golan Heights area since the 2006 Israeli-Lebanese war.’

Why Did the UN Security Council Visit Haiti?

new Friday 30th January 2015 at 05:58 By David Icke

‘On Jan. 23, a delegation of the United Nations Security Council arrived in Haiti for a three day visit. The delegation, consisting of representatives of 15 member states currently on the Security Council, was co-chaired by Chilean ambassador Cristian Barros Melet, who holds the rotating Security Council presidency for January, and Samantha Power, the U.S. Ambassador to the UN.

During its visit, the delegation met with President Michel Martelly and de facto Prime Minister Evans Paul, as well as the de facto president of the Senate, Andris Riché. It also met with “civil society” representatives and political parties such as the Lavalas Family (FL), as highlighted an by FL Executive Board member, Dr. Schiller Louidor during a Jan. 25 interview on Radio Panou’s program “Haïti en Ondes.”

Many are questioning the purpose of this visit, which comes on the heels of Martelly carrying out a virtual coup d’état in Haiti. Because Martelly managed to hold no elections for over three years, Parliament expired on Jan. 12, and he now rules by decree. Meanwhile, several huge demonstrations take place every week in the capital and across Haiti demanding that Martelly resign and the UN military occupation, known as MINUSTAH, leave.’

‘An Israeli electricity company has decided to intermittently cut the power supplies to Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

“Due to a mounting debt worth nearly 1.8 billion shekels (USD 459 million), we have decided that as of today, electrical supply will be cut” for an hour each morning and another hour each night, said an Israeli official with the energy company on Thursday.

The official, who was speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the measure, which would “not cause general power cuts, will remain in place until the Palestinian Authority begins to settle its debts.”’
