RBS Could Receive Double Libor Fines

'RBS could receive a “double hit” of separate fines, one from Britain's Financial Services Authority and another from the US regulators, the Sunday Telegraph reported.
Earlier in June, Barclays, Britain’s second-biggest bank, was fined £290 million by both the British and US watchdogs over the Libor scandal. The scandal also led to the resignation of the bank's chief executive Bob Diamond. RBS is now facing similar penalties. The bank has already sacked four traders in relation to the Libor rigging scandal.'
