Poll: Americans Say Give One Party Power

'A slim majority of Americans would prefer one party in control of Congress and the White House after the November elections, a poll released Tuesday indicates.
The Wall Street Journal/NBC News Poll found 52 percent of voters surveyed would just as soon see one-party rule in Washington. Thirty-nine percent said they prefer power distributed. The pollsters said it is the first time a majority of voters supported single-party power going back to the mid-1980s.'
