Inquiry Launched into Michael’s Custody Death

'An investigation has been launched into the death of a British young black man, who died in police custody last year after being pepper sprayed and beaten with batons.
The inquest, held on Monday October 1 at Warrington Coroner's Court, sitting at a hotel in Daresbury, was organized to investigate how a person who called the police for help died in custody hours later.
In August 2011, Jacob Michael, a 25-year-old amateur rugby enthusiast from Widnes, Cheshire, collapsed and died after he was hit in the face with pepper spray and later subdued by police officers as he tried to avoid arrest for affray.'
