Unknown Gunmen Kill 16 Egyptian Border Guards

'Unknown gunmen have killed 16 border security guards and injured several others in Egypt near the Sinai border with Israel. Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi called an emergency meeting with the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces following the incident on Sunday, the Egyptian state media reported.
"President Morsi says that this cowardly attack will not go without a response… and that those who committed this crime will pay dearly," said a statement issued late on Sunday by the Egyptian president’s office.'
