Britain Agrees Talk to Avert Dairy Crisis

'Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman and Farming Minister Jim Paice will attend talks in Wales on Monday, British media reported.
Paice said the government hoped "to get all levels of the supply chain to make the real changes needed to guarantee the industry's long-term future".
Farmers for Action staged their second successful protest by blockading dairy plants in Droitwich Spa in Worcestershire and Foston in Derbyshire. Farmers' Union president Peter Kendall said dairy farmers just wanted to be paid a fair price for their milk.'
