'NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland are expected to open hundreds of branches with extended hours, ‘The Guardian’ said on Friday 29 June. This has been an issue now concluding its second week that has affected a large number of customers.

RBS and NatWest customers claim they are still missing wages and various payments, following the IT meltdown 10 days ago that left thousands of people deprived of accessing their accounts.

Though, Royal Bank of Scotland continues to claim that its system is almost back to normal and 99 percent of customers’ accounts are up to date. But a vast number of customers contacted ‘the Guardian’ and posted complaints on ‘Twitter’ saying they still do not have money in their accounts, suggesting that the issue may be more widespread.'
