Garbage Truck Drivers, Landscapers Snoop for Cops

'The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) in Florida is using a trust fund to train garbage truck drivers and landscapers to spot crime in the neighborhoods where they work. The program is called Operation B.O.L.O., which trains people to be on the lookout for crime as they go about their daily tasks.
“When an employee reports something suspicious, on-duty BSO deputies will drive to the scene. If the information leads to an arrest, the employee gets a reward of up to $100,” reports the Sun Sentinel.'
