'British oil giant BP has secured London’s authorization to drill a deep-water oil well off Scotland coasts amid environmentalists’ fears of a repetition of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill disaster. The Department of Energy and Climate Change (Decc) said the drilling license for an oil well 128 kilometers north west of Shetland islands was granted to BP after close examination of the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico.'
