US Judge Blocks Arizona Immigration Law

'A US judge has blocked the most controversial part of Arizona's new immigration law one day before the law goes into effect. Arizona District Court Judge Susan Bolton has suspended a provision in the law which requires police to check the immigration status of suspected illegal immigrants, Reuters reported.
Sections in the new law requiring immigrants to carry documentation at all times as well as making it illegal for undocumented immigrants to seek work in public places were also blocked by the judge.'
