Is Israel Using it’s Genocide in Gaza as a Marketing Exercise for Sales of it’s Drone Technology and Iron Dome Systems?

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 18:49 By david-icke

Yes, of course, it doesn't miss a trick, but its prime focus is to kill and expel the Palestinians from their land and steal what is left of it.

‘As Israel ruthlessly destroys the besieged Gaza Strip, its largest developer of military technology, Elbit Systems, is benefitting from the bloodshed.

US-traded shares of Elbit have climbed 6.1 percent since 8 July, when Israel began its latest offensive against the Gaza Strip.

According to Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Israel’s three-week long massacre of 1,200 Palestinians in Gaza, including nearly 300 children, “has pushed [Elbit’s] stock close to the highest level since 2010 while its valuation on a price-to-earnings basis is near the most expensive in five years.”

The rising stock is driven by speculation that the Haifa-based company will see increasing demand for its products from both the Israeli and foreign governments impressed by the performance of Elbit’s blood-soaked performance in Gaza.’

A war to market the Iron Dome

‘Reporting on the Dome has provided near-real time televised war coverage. The media has repeated statistics demonstrating its success rates – although there appears to have been a reluctance to scrutinise official Israeli figures and an absence of voices from those who might question its effectiveness.

It is understandable that Israeli officials would want to promote the idea of the Dome’s success. It gives the Israeli public a sense of safety and security. It demonstrates that the state is fulfilling one of its commitments to its citizens – the duty to protect.

But it is undeniable that this unquestioning tone helps provide a certain marketing message.’

‘What shall we do with our 200,000 refugees?’ UN begs for international help after ANOTHER Gaza school is blitzed, killing 15 Palestinians and injuring 90

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 10:48 By david-icke

‘The United Nations today begged the international community for help with the humanitarian crisis in Gaza after another school serving as a refugee shelter was bombed, killing 16 Palestinians and injuring 90 others.

Some 200,000 displaced Gazans have sought refuge in UN schools following calls by Israel to evacuate their homes ahead of military operations only to find themselves under attack anyway.

For many Palestinians, the feeling of helplessness living in a densely populated enclave under a seven-year blockade with nowhere to run or hide has left them on the brink of despair.’

Hamas military wing rejects truce with Israel

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 10:46 By david-icke

Hamas was created by Israel – see Remember Who You Are and my recent videocasts. Every time Israel is ready for another assault on Gaza rockets are fired into Israel to give them the excuse.

Coincidence? Not a chance.

‘The military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has rejected a ceasefire with Israel unless the seven-year blockade on the Gaza Strip is removed.

Mohammad Deif, the commander of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, made the remarks in an audiotape broadcast on the al-Aqsa television network on Tuesday.

“There will be no ceasefire without lifting of the siege,” Deif said, adding, “Victory will be ours.”

The Israeli regime will never feel secure as long as the Palestinians are in pain, the Palestinian commander noted.’

Citing Holocaust, Israel Demands ‘Strict Regulation’ of Antiwar Protests in Europe

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 10:35 By david-icke

‘A new Holocaust is imminent, if one is to believe Israeli MPs, who spent the afternoon berating European officials about the growing antiwar protests across their countries, centered on criticizing the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip.

Officials blamed “one-sided” media reports on the large number of dead civilians in Israel’s attack, and demanded the European Union impose “strict regulations on the format and content” of antiwar demonstrations going forward.’

Russia preparing to develop Gaza gas field

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 10:25 By david-icke

‘In a significant political and economic development, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met Jan. 23 with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The meeting came as a prerequisite to officially sign an investment agreement aiming to develop the Gaza offshore gas field in the Mediterranean Sea. It is only logical to assume that this step will raise the ire of Israel. The latter does not appreciate the role Russia plays in the region, especially since Israel has never come to an agreement with Russia.’

Global Elite Agitating for War Against Russia

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 10:22 By david-icke

‘Victoria Nuland — who acted as the front person for the State Department’s coup in Kiev — bluntly expressed the opinion of the United States toward the European Union back in February.

Nuland employed a choice expletive when she dismissed the glacial movement of EU apparatchiks and their apparent political paralysis in response to the State Department’s covert effort to install a cooperative regime in Ukraine.

The MH17 downing was engineered to move the EU and public consensus in the direction of open confrontation with Russia. The EU does not want to appear indifferent and lackadaisical to the exploitatively propagandized tragedy, so it will lend its support for a new round of sanctions and, most importantly, the neocon introduced Senate bill 2277, the so-called “Russian Aggression Prevention Act of 2014” more appropriately dubbed the World War III bill.’

Coordinated Sanctions Aim at Russia’s Ability to Tap Its Oil Reserves

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 10:14 By david-icke

‘The United States and Europe kicked off a joint effort on Tuesday intended to curb Russia’s long-term ability to develop new oil resources, taking aim at the Kremlin’s premier source of wealth and power in retaliation for its intervention in Ukraine.

In announcing coordinated sanctions, American and European leaders went beyond previous moves against banking and defense industries in an effort to curtail Russia’s access to Western technology as it seeks to tap new Arctic, deep sea and shale oil reserves. The goal was not to inhibit current oil production but to cloud Russia’s energy future.’

What is the Community Press Group and why does it have it in for David Icke and the UKColumn?

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 10:10 By david-icke

This is a mainstream-lite operation based in Potters Bar north of London with its director, a former police officer called Dave Eden

Why do you want to damage David Icke, police officer Dave Eden?

Why do you want to damage David Icke, Sonia Poulton, who called you out for being a diva and the way you treated people?

Why would these people attempt to damage the work of someone who was at the front line 25 years ago before there was a ‘truth movement’ and has already done more to alert people to the truth worldwide than this lot will do collectively if they live to be a thousand?

Who benefits? The System.

Why would they be so quick to criticise the UK Column which is way further down the rabbit hole than they will ever be prepared to go?

Who benefits? The System.

Just thinking.

You can expect some major attempts to discredit me in the next few months which are bubbling in the background at the moment because I am getting far too close to the truth and they know that I won’t be intimidated or silenced.

I take it as a compliment and I’ll just run at them quicker.

Watch this space and all that.

Well, thank you, Sonia Poulton

Ebola virus is a ‘threat’ to UK says Philip Hammond, as Government calls emergency Cobra meeting in response to deadly disease

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 10:02 By david-icke

‘The Government is to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the “threat” to the UK from the Ebola virus, the Foreign Secretary has said.

Philip Hammond said he would chair the meeting of the Cobra committee, which will begin coordinating Britain’s response to the spread of a disease that has killed more than 670 people in West Africa.

It comes after Public Health England’s global health chief told The Independent that officials have been briefing doctors, Government bodies and the UK Border Agency on what to do if Ebola arrives in Britain.’

The U.S. Is Quietly Establishing Ebola Quarantine Centers

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 10:01 By david-icke

‘Even if there was not a present immigration crisis at the border, there is a significant outbreak of Ebola in a seven country region of West Africa. With modern air travel, this government should be enacting protocols to limit the chances for Ebola from coming into the United States. Instead, President Obama is having ICE and DHS load up the basses and planes, at taxpayers expense ship them throughout the United States without going through a minimum of a three week health screening period (i.e. Ebola’s incubation period).

This is highly irresponsible and could be considered to be an act of treason being committed against the people of the United States. Under federally mandated quarantine procedures, here is what the CDC and President Obama are mandated to do in the present crisis. Here is what is supposed to happen as described by the CDC:’

Illegal Immigrant Children Flooding Into U.S. for Free Goodies, Not to Escape Violence

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 09:59 By david-icke

‘The incessant propaganda campaign waged by Democrats and the Obama administration characterizing an unprecedented wave of illegal immigrants entering the U.S. as refugees fleeing from violence has shaped public perception of the crisis.

Just over a quarter of respondents to a Public Religion Research Institute survey believe underage immigrants are entering the country illegally, while nearly 70 percent say the federal government should treat the children as refugees and not illegal immigrants.’

The inconvenient truth Cameron ignored in his ‘crackdown’ on immigrant benefits… Britain spends £5billion a year on tax credits for migrants

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 09:44 By david-icke

‘Official figures show that 415,000 foreign nationals are benefiting from the perk, worth the equivalent of almost £100million every week. The bill dwarfs the total savings achieved by David Cameron’s latest crackdown on out-of-work welfare payments to migrants, which was unveiled amid great fanfare on Tuesday. These proposals, which include limiting access to jobseekers allowance to a period of three months, will reduce the benefits bill by just £100million a year. David Cameron is pictured top talking to immigration enforcement officers on Tuesday.’

Outcry over taxman’s plan to settle debts by delving into people’s bank accounts so they can help themselves to money

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 09:37 By david-icke

‘HMRC was accused yesterday of taking ‘a smash and grab’ approach with its demand for new powers to seize money directly from people’s bank accounts.

Britain’s leading tax experts warned the taxman risks being ‘unconstitutional’ with the controversial plans, which could come into force within months.

The proposed new powers – which were published in the Budget and subject to a public consultation which closed yesterday – have triggered an outcry among tax experts.’

Royal aide ‘took £100,000 in contract bribes’

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 09:15 By david-icke

‘A senior official in the Royal Household was sent for trial on Tuesday charged with receiving payments of more than £100,000 to award contracts for work at royal palaces.

Ron Harper, deputy property manager at the Royal Household from 1994 until he was suspended in 2012, appeared at Westminster magistrates’ court with eight other men and one woman, who all indicated not guilty pleas.

It is alleged that between 2006 and 2011, company directors bribed Mr Harper, 61, of Sudbury, Suffolk, in return for him awarding them large contracts for work at the palaces. The defendants were sent for trial at Southwark Crown Court with a scheduled hearing of Aug 12.’

Seizing Control of Our Destinies

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 09:05 By david-icke

‘In 1381, at a time of great repression for the British agricultural work force, an extraordinary people’s revolutionary named Wat Tyler sprang to his feet and announced “England should be a nation of self governing communities” to which he added “ No lord shall exercise lordship over the people, and, as we are oppressed by so vast a horde of bishops and clerks, the property of the holy church should be taken and divided.”

His colleague, the priest John Ball, spoke out with equal fervour “The lords’ claims to be more lords than we are rests solely on their power to force us to labour that they may spend.”’

British university system faces collapse

‘Half of Britain’s 150 universities must close down if the system is to remain viable, according to a senior academic.

Sir Roderick Floud has proposed a plan for mass redundancies and closures to be adopted by the government in which he criticised the “messy, muddled non-system of higher education” as “inefficient” and in need of root-and-branch reform. Spain Wants to Tax the Hyperlink

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 08:14 By david-icke

‘The hyperlink is a crazy thing if you think about it. One of HTML’s most basic building blocks has completely changed the news industry, turning black text into blue (or in Motherboard’s case, purple), and taking a practice that was one completely verboten in journalism—snagging a competitor’s work—and making it commonplace. But soon, if you want to use them in Spain, it’s gonna cost you.

The law, called canon AEDE, would put a tax on aggregation, and would make it illegal for blogs, news sites, and perhaps even Google News to link out to original sources without paying a fee. Make no mistake, this would fundamentally change how the media industry’s link economy currently works (at least in Spain—we’ll see if others follow suit).’

Smallpox: A Deadly Shell Game

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 08:11 By david-icke

‘The recent announcement by the WHO that it was postponing a decision on destroying the remaining smallpox depositories—one allegedly in Russia at VECTOR and the other in the United States at the CDC—may not have been prompted by what the press has termed a difference of opinion between research groups. In fact, the WHO may have no idea how many labs actually possess the deadly variola virus.

As widely reported, WHO’s advisory committee on variola virus research (ACVVR), felt that the stocks should be maintained, as the live virus was still needed to develop antiviral drugs.

On the opposing side, the WHO’s advisory group of independent experts to review the smallpox research programme (AGIES) was reported as believing that there was no research justification for holding on to the stocks.’

Corporations And Their Military Hirelings

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 08:07 By david-icke

‘The rise of Transnational corporations (TNCs) and the consequent strangulation of smaller businesses at their birth was predicted by Vladimir Lenin in 1916: ‘Private property based on the labour of the small proprietor, free competition, democracy, i.e., all the catchwords with which the capitalists and their press deceive the workers … are things of the past … This transformation of competition into monopoly is … the most important phenonema of modern capitalist economy … monopolistic alliances of entrepreneurs, cartels and trusts arise … when the number of competing enterprises is reduced to a couple of dozen or so’.’

How to Enslave People With Addiction

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 08:03 By david-icke

‘You’ve probably heard about those addiction studies with caged lab rats, in which the rats compulsively press the heroin dispensing lever again and again, even to the point of choosing it over food and starving themselves to death. These studies seemed to imply some pretty disheartening things about human nature. Our basic biology is not to be trusted; the seeking of pleasure leads to disaster; one must therefore overcome biological desires through reason, education, and the inculcation of morals; those whose willpower or morals are weak must be controlled and corrected.’

Why are massive numbers of sea creatures dying along the west coast right now?

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 08:00 By david-icke

‘Never before have we seen so much death along the west coast of North America.  Massive numbers of sea stars, bluefin tuna, sardines, anchovies, herring, oysters, salmon, marine mammals and marine birds are dying, and experts are puzzled.  We are being told that we could even see “local extinctions” of some of these sea creatures.  So are all of these deaths related?  If so, what in the world could be causing this to happen?  What has changed so dramatically that it would cause massive numbers of sea creatures to die along the west coast?’

Worldwide Water Shortage by 2040?

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 07:55 By david-icke

That's the idea – in fact even earlier.

‘Fresh water supplies are under assault on multiple fronts. We are seeing the continuing fallout from the droughts in the Western U.S. and Brazil – both are incredibly important areas to the global food supply.

At the same time, corporate hoarding of fresh water is on the rise. Nestle’s former CEO clearly stated that water supplies should be privatized and that the right to fresh, clean water is not an essential human right.

Knowing that both the climate and corporate influence are converging to restrict and/or dramatically increase the cost of fresh water, two new reports reinforce that there isn’t much time left to find solutions. In fact, for an increasing number of people, water might not be available at any cost.’

Just TWO UK climate committee MPs contradict IPCC: The two with science degrees

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 07:42 By david-icke

‘The UK’s Parliamentary climate change select committee has just issued a written endorsement of the latest, alarmist UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report. However, two MPs – the two most scientifically qualified on the committee – have strongly disagreed with this position.

The IPCC’s latest AR5 report takes a firmly alarmist position on carbon and climate change, predicting massively accelerated global warming and attendant sea level rises, crop failures and other global disasters unless human emissions of greenhouse gases – particularly carbon dioxide – are sharply curbed. The UK parliamentary committee report just out now firmly endorses this.

But not all the committee’s members are convinced.’

Why the NYT’s Call For Marijuana Legalization Is a Huge Deal

Wednesday 30th July 2014 at 07:10 By david-icke

‘The New York Times editorial board made history Sunday, as the first major national paper to call for an end to marijuana prohibition. And how they did it is half the story — with rare flash and panache, as well as the intellectual and moral substance to back it up.

The Times’ editorial has the feel of legendary CBS News anchor Walter Cronkite coming out against the Vietnam War. They dropped a bomb on our country’s disastrous war on marijuana with unprecedented force.

Some people think of the Times’ editorial page as a liberal mouthpiece — but when it comes to marijuana prohibition and the drug war, they’ve been extremely cautious and conservative. In previous decades, the Times did as much as any other media outlet to legitimize drug war hysteria and its disastrous policies.’

‘A team of international activists in Gaza acted as “human shields” this afternoon to secure medications for injured and disabled Palestinians by accompanying Red Crescent ambulances into a firing zone in Gaza City. The activists are all foreign nationals, hailing from the United Kingdom, United States and Sweden.

To reach el-Wafa Rehabilitation Hospital the internationals crossed heavy Israeli military shelling from the air and border area. The medical facility was destroyed beyond use by Israeli missiles Thursday evening. The Israeli military had said weapons were being launched from nearby the hospital and said Hamas had used the facility as a “human shield.”

When the human rights defenders reached el-Wafa they found the remains of the facility was smoking from a strike earlier today. The internationals were unable to enter the burning building to retrieve medications.’
