‘Iran ordered Lockerbie bombing’, claims ex-intelligence officer

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 06:56 By David Icke

‘The Lockerbie bombing was ordered by Iran and carried out by a Syrian-based terrorist group, a former Iranian intelligence officer has admitted.

Abolghassem Mesbahi, a defector to Germany, said Pan Am flight 103 was downed in 1988 in retaliation for a US Navy strike on an Iranian commercial jet six months earlier, in which 290 people died.

He claims the Ayatollah Khomeini, who was Iran’s Supreme Leader, ordered the bombing “to copy exactly what happened to the Iranian Airbus”.’

‘Al Jazeera is owned by the government of Qatar. While Al Jazeera officials have stated that they are editorially independent from the government of Qatar, this assertion has been disputed. In 2010, United States Department of State internal communications, released by WikiLeaks as part of the 2010 diplomatic cables leak, claim that the Qatar government manipulates Al Jazeera coverage to suit political interests.[

In September 2012, The Guardian reported that Al Jazeera’s editorial independence came into question when the channel’s director of news, Salah Negm, stepped in at the last minute to order that a two minute video covering a UN debate over the Syrian civil war include a speech by the leader of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Staff members protested that the speech was not the most important aspect of the debate, and that it was a repetition of previous calls for Arab intervention.

The Guardian also claimed in September 2012 that Qatar has taken steps in recent years to consolidate control of Al Jazeera English…

… While Al Jazeera has a large audience in the Middle East, the organization and the original Arabic channel in particular have taken criticism and been involved in several controversies. Following the Arab spring revolutions, Al Jazeera have been accused of supporting the Muslim brotherhood and dissimulating realities about their violence and assaults.’

Six important facts you’re not being told about lost Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 06:55 By David Icke

‘There are some astonishing things you’re not being told about Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, the flight that simply vanished over the Gulf of Thailand with 239 people on board.

The mystery of the flight’s sudden and complete disappearance has even the world’s top air safety authorities baffled. “Air-safety and antiterror authorities on two continents appeared equally stumped about what direction the probe should take,” reports the Wall Street Journal.

WSJ goes on to report:

“For now, it seems simply inexplicable,” said Paul Hayes, director of safety and insurance at Ascend Worldwide, a British advisory and aviation data firm.

While investigators are baffled, the mainstream media isn’t telling you the whole story, either. So I’ve assembled this collection of facts that should raise serious questions in the minds of anyone following this situation.’

'We have to find the aircraft': Days later, no sign of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

‘With lead after lead failing to pan out, search and rescue officials said Monday they will expand the search area for the Malaysia Airlines aircraft that vanished three days ago.

The newly expanded search area encompasses a larger portion of the Gulf of Thailand between Malaysia and Vietnam, said Azharuddin Abdul Rahman, director general of the Malaysian Civil Aviation Department.

Nearly three dozen aircraft and 40 ships from 10 countries have so far failed to find any sign of the aircraft.

An oil slick that searchers had thought might be from the plane turned out to be fuel oil typically used in cargo ships, according to Rahman.’

Ukraine crisis is about superpower oil and gas pipeline rivalry

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 06:54 By David Icke

‘Russia’s armed intervention in the Crimea undoubtedly illustrates President Putin’s ruthless determination to get his way in Ukraine. But less attention has been paid to the role of the United States in interfering in Ukrainian politics and civil society. Both powers are motivated by the desire to ensure that a geostrategically pivotal country with respect to control of critical energy pipeline routes remains in their own sphere of influence.

Much has been made of the reported leak of the recording of an alleged private telephone conversation between US assistant secretary of state Victoria Nuland and US ambassador to Kiev Geoffrey Pyatt. While the focus has been on Nuland’s rude language, which has already elicited US apologies, the more important context of this language concerns the US role in liaising with Ukrainian opposition parties with a view, it seems, to manipulate the orientation of the Ukrainian government in accordance with US interests.’

Ukrainian gold reserves loaded on an unidentified transport aircraft in Kiev’s Borispol airport and flown to Uncle Sam’s vault

‘According to the iskra-news.info last night ,Ukrainian gold reserves (40 sealed boxes) were loaded on an unidentified transport aircraft in Kiev’s Borispol airport. The board took off immediately.

A source in the Ukrainian government confirmed that the transfer of the gold reserves of Ukraine to the United States was ordered by the acting PM Arseny Yatsenyuk.

So my guess is, that is if indeed this report is true it either means the new ruling elite have stolen the gold bullion or perhaps their is a legitimate fear of the Russians taking possession of this bullion, whatever the facts, it still looks very shady indeed.’

Why London, Too, Will Balk At Sanctions Against Russia (And Putin Knows It)

‘A week ago, when the idea of sanctions against Russia was first officially announced, we made a statement, which was obviously in jest yet which, as so often happens, was so rooted in reality.

How is this an indication of reality? Well, for one, as we reported previously, the one country that has the most to lose from Russian sanctions, Germany, and specifically its industrial superlobby has already said “Nein” to any truly crippling trade blockade of Moscow would backfire on Germany’s own economy and bottom line.

But what about London? Here, the NYT explains why, once again, it was all about the money, and why were right even when we were being humorous:

The White House has imposed visa restrictions on some Russian officials, and President Obama has issued an executive order enabling further sanctions. But Britain has already undermined any unified action by putting profit first.

It boils down to this: Britain is ready to betray the United States to protect the City of London’s hold on dirty Russian money. And forget about Ukraine.’

Ukraine regime unveils tough austerity plan

‘The Ukrainian regime has unveiled a list of tough austerity measures aimed at “stabilizing the economic situation in the country and promoting more efficient state budget spending.” A new decree to this effect has been published on the Cabinet’s website.

The regime claimed it was going to cut salaries for senior managing officials, take away some of their official cars and slash expenditure on paid official missions.

The switch to this “tough austerity” plan was announced at the end of February by acting Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The plan covers all state and budget bodies, organizations and enterprises. One of the regulations says all state-run institutions are to stop buying cars (with the exception of emergency services), furniture, mobile phones, laptops, gadgets and uniforms.’

Ukraine: Are oligarch appointments at odds with new sense of fairness?

‘After losing control of Crimea, the embattled new Ukrainian government in Kiev has turned to the nation’s oligarchs in a bid to calm secessionist sentiment in the pro-Russian east. But the appointment of oligarchs to positions of political power has not been welcomed in all quarters, and certainly not by the protesters who hoped last month’s ousting of President Viktor Yanukovych heralded a new era.

Following days of unrest, including pro-Russia rallies and the storming of the parliament building in Donetsk by Moscow’s supporters, the region now seems to be slowly calming down. Pro-Russia squatters have now been removed from the administration building, and on the orders of the newly appointed regional governor and Ukraine’s 16th-richest man, Serhiy Taruta, the pro-Kremlin activists’ leader, Pavel Gubarev, has been arrested.

In a further sign that the environment in the east is stabilising, boxing heavyweight turned politician Vitali Klitschko has a visit to Donetsk scheduled for Sunday. “People here respect power, the oligarchs are wealthy, well known and well respected. They are seen as guarantors of stability,” says local journalist Denis Tkachenko.’

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 06:40 By David Icke

‘Anti-fracking protesters could be forcibly removed from their camp by bailiffs today after a court ruled against them.

After a two-day hearing the landowners were granted a possession order for the land where an energy firm is carrying out drilling.

IGas was granted permission for exploratory gas drilling at the site and said it is seeking methane and shale gas but has no immediate plans for fracking.’

Councils spend millions on controversial ‘pseudo-science’ lie-detector tests to help catch benefit frauds

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 06:24 By David Icke

‘Councils are spending millions of pounds on controversial lie-detector tests to catch benefit fraudsters, despite the system being dismissed by one expert as “closer to astrology than science”, according to a report.

Freedom of Information requests revealed that 24 councils had used or were thinking about using “voice risk analysis” (VRA) software, which is designed to spot signs of stress as people talk during phone calls.

In 2008, the Government offered £1.5 million to local authorities to help pay for the VRA system following an initial pilot scheme, but stopped supporting it in 2010.’

Rabbinical Satanic Verses

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 04:43 By David Icke

‘Imagine, just imagine, the outcry that would follow an imagined call by a European Muslim or Christian religious leader suggesting sending hundreds of thousands of Jews to concentration camps. The Sheikh or priest or bishop would be lambasted beyond imagination, and his denomination or church would immediately distance itself from his foolish remarks.

Political authorities would also declare that Nazi-minded Sheikh or bishop has no place in modern Europe and that governments would nip the hateful and racist elements in the bud. In short, he would be looked upon as a pariah, to say the very least. He even might be forced to commit suicide under public pressure.

As to Jewish circles, their protests would be clarion and omnipresent.

But how would things look like if such a call took place in Israel and was made by a popular rabbi, with hundreds of thousands of followers?

According to a weekly Hebrew magazine, several rabbis, including the rabbi of Safad, Shmuel Eliyahu, recently proposed the establishment of death camps for the Palestinians.’

Author Warns of Racist Movement in Israel Looking for ‘Right to Kill Non-Jewish Children’

‘Author and syndicated columnist Allan Brownfeld, speaking at Institute for Research’s Middle East Policy conference on Friday, warned the audience of the rise of “racism” in Israel against non-Jews. He said that there is a popular movement in Israel which takes its cues from a popular book, “financed by the Israeli government,” arguing for the right of Jews to kill non-Jews. Brownfeld added that this extremism dates back to early 19th Century Europe.

“In Israel itself, there is a growth of racism,” Brownfeld began. “There is a growth of religious extremism.

“The book, The King’s Torah, was a best seller,” He continued. “This is a book that said Jews and non-Jews are basically different in nature. Jews are much closer or to God than non-Jews who are referred to as uncompassionate.”’

Doctors Forced to Become State Snitches to Spot ‘Radical’ Patients

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 04:42 By David Icke

‘Doctors in Britain are being forced to become state snitches and spot “radical” patients under an NHS initiative that threatens to cut funding if a GP practice fails to take part in the program.

Under the new NHS England policy, every GP practice must send a member of staff on the “Prevent” counter terrorism course, during which they are trained to detect patients who are ” vulnerable to radicalization,” before notifying authorities.

In addition to the “lead” staff member who takes the course, all employees of the practice must be made aware of the strategy .

Labeling the program “mindless bureaucracy,” former GPC chair Dr Laurence Buckman said, “It is so silly and ridiculous that I can’t believe NHS England are requiring this or making CCGs responsible for it.”’

‘Staff at energy watchdog Ofgem have spent more than £1.2million on luxury hotel stays and Michelin-starred restaurants.

The body, which has been criticsed for paying executives six-figure salaries, ran up the huge credit car bill over three years while one in five households are living in fuel poverty and energy bills have risen by a staggering 37 per cent.

Spending included £5,373 for ‘room hire’ at Cardiff’s five-star St David’s Hotel and Spa, £2,400 for meals at upmarket restaurants, including the double Michelin-starred L’Atelier, and £10,000 on reward schemes.’

Shadow Reporters in Conversation with Snowden

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 04:12 By David Icke

‘There has appeared very recently a transcript of what appears to be a press opportunity between Edward Snowden, the NSA whistleblower, and certain invited members of the German press.

As the transcript encompasses twelve pages, I will include the transcript in whatever form I can but perhaps not in the body of this announcement in its entirety.

I was given this information in the form of a pdf by a mid to high level German politician. I cannot say that it exists on the internet as of yet. I actually have no real idea of the stealth with which the press conference may have been conducted. However, I was given permission to use the material.’

Hepatitis B vaccine kills eight babies in China; drug manufacturer says ‘coincidence’

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 04:06 By David Icke

‘Babies are dying all over China after receiving the hepatitis B vaccine, and health authorities are claiming that it is all just one big coincidence. As reported by The New York Times (NYT) and relayed by VacTruth.com, at least eight newborn babies in China have died within 48 hours after receiving the controversial vaccine, which China’s largest drug company continues to insist is perfectly safe despite its obvious dangers.

The real cause of these “unexpected” deaths, claim the talking heads, must be some underlying health condition that just so happened to manifest itself at the exact same time that the babies were jabbed for a sexually transmitted disease (STD) that they have no way of contracting anyway. Never mind that almost all of the babies who died were perfectly healthy before getting the shot — just get your children vaccinated and be quiet!’

The US, NATO and the West use economics to enslave countries – FM Živadin Jovanović

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 04:03 By David Icke

‘Like Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and before it the former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Serbia is another country that was also invaded and destroyed by US/NATO. Serbia today is overburdened by foreign debt and through the IMF and other “loans”, like other countries, faces being enslaved by the West. Serbia is proof that when the West gives 1 Euro, it takes 100 Euros.

You mentioned the damage of NATO to Yugoslavia $120 billion. But even what was not destroyed, that was privatized by criminal privatization. These issues and more were touched upon by Živadin Jovanović, the former Foreign Minister of Yugoslavia in an interview with the Voice of Russia.’

10 Scientific Studies That Prove Consciousness Can Alter Our Physical Material World

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 04:00 By David Icke

‘Nikola Tesla said it best, “the day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence. To understand the true nature of the universe, one must think it terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” Swami Vivekananda was Tesla’s mentor, an Indian Hindu monk and chief disciple of the 19th century saint Ramakrishna.

Science works best when in harmony with nature. If we put these two together, we can discover great technologies that can only come about when the consciousness of the planet is ready to embrace them, like free energy.

I want to make it clear that my intention of presenting this information is to demonstrate that thoughts, intentions, prayer and other units of consciousness can directly influence our physical material world. Consciousness can be a big factor in creating change on the planet.’

Florida trauma centers charge outrageous fees the moment you come through the door

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:54 By David Icke

Before any X-ray was taken, any blood collected, any medicine delivered to his broken body, crash victim Eric Leonhard was charged $32,767 just to pass through the doors of a Fort Pierce trauma center.

The bill was not for the surgery Leonhard needed to piece together his shattered pelvis. In fact, after exactly 40 minutes, doctors decided to transfer him because they didn’t have the right specialist for the job. So they loaded Leonhard onto a helicopter and sent him to another hospital on Florida’s east coast.

Lawnwood Regional Medical Center still charged Leonhard, an uninsured tour boat captain, nearly $1,000 for every minute he spent with the medical team that couldn’t fix him.’

Game Changer: It Will Be Shocking for the Average American: ‘Your Cost of Living Will Quadruple’

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:51 By David Icke

‘It’s no secret that the U.S. government is in serious fiscal trouble. So much so that our Treasury Secretary recently noted that should the debt ceiling fail to be increased, the fall-out would be “catastrophic” and last for generations.

Given that sobering report, consider that everything in America, from food to fuel, is subsidized in one way or another. Those subsidies are being paid with ever-increasing debt. It is inevitable that at some point the world’s reserve currency, the US dollar, will be wiped out. The trigger for such an event is irrelevant. What is relevant, is how average Americans will be affected when that day comes.

In recent months working Americans have seen their health care costs triple. But this is just the beginning. When America’s debt problems come to a head the subsidies will be removed, and that will lead to cost of living increases that will leave those who never saw it coming in a state of confusion and bewilderment with no way out.’

‘What bailout exit?’ Portuguese ask, braced for more hardship

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:48 By David Icke

‘Portugal’s international bailout is expected to end in mid-May. That won’t mean the end of hardship for the Portuguese.

To avoid a repeat of the 78 billion euro ($108 billion) financial rescue agreed in May 2011 with the European Union and the International Monetary Fund, Lisbon cannot let up on shrinking its budget gap and trimming a huge sovereign debt.

The economy is starting to grow again, and the government is borrowing at the cheapest rates since 2010. That means it will be easier than in the past couple of years to meet goals imposed on Portugal by existing bailout terms and European treaties between now and 2017.

Still, with a population intent on making ends meet – and a general election due in the middle of next year – assurances from Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho often fall on deaf ears.’

Libyan rebels warn of ‘war’ if navy attacks oil tanker

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:45 By David Icke

‘Armed protesters in eastern Libya traded threats with the government on Sunday in a tense stand-off over the unauthorised sale of oil from a rebel-held port.

A North Korean-flagged tanker, the Morning Glory, docked on Saturday at the port of Es Sider and local daily al-Wasat said it had loaded $36 million of crude oil. Prime Minister Ali Zeidan has said the military will bomb the 37,000-tonne vessel if it tries to leave.

Officials said on Sunday that the navy and pro-government militias had dispatched boats to stop it from getting out. The rebels said any attack on the tanker would be “a declaration of war.”‘

The State Department’s New World Order Agenda

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:39 By David Icke

‘Especially in the realm of foreign policy, the myth that the United States saved the world from despotic tyrants, popularly reflected in the victor’s account of post World War II, is the accepted viewpoint. Hidden from public education is that the New World Order was the actual winner. The specific inception of the globalist forces that originated the sub rosa directions behind formable institutions and governments dates well back over centuries. However, the modern technocratic era allows for the dramatic acceleration of a one-world system imposition, which was never possible in previous times.

Loyal citizens of the old republic want to trust that the State Department, commissioned to serve as the guardian and protector of the country, is conducting foreign policy in the best interests of the nation. There is a reason why the Secretary of State is third in line to succeed the President. That purpose, intended to defend diplomatically and promote the public safety and benefit, has served a very different master for a very long time.’

Chinese government cafeterias go non-GMO; public schoolchildren still being fed poisons

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:36 By David Icke

‘Outrage erupted in the health world after China’s Ministry of Education recently announced that it does not serve genetically modified organisms (GMOs) to diners at its cafeteria. GMWatch.org and others report that the government agency has a sign currently posted at the doorway of its cafeteria stating that GMOs are not served to government employees or members of the public who might visit the facility, and yet these same transgenic derivatives continue to be served to China’s public schoolchildren.

The sign, which clearly states that the safety profile of GMOs is questionable at best, was designed to dispel fears about the inadvertent consumption of unlabeled GMOs in the cafeteria. With no verifiable or legitimate consensus on whether or not GMOs are safe for the environment, let alone human consumption, the government agency has chosen to take the precautionary approach by eliminating them altogether in the best interests of government employees and others who dine at the canteen.’

Business and Politics in the European Union: Institutionalised Corruption and the Revolving Door

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:33 By David Icke

‘One of the many ways by which rich corporations exert their influence over and hijack government bodies is via the ‘revolving door’ process (1,2). Big business is highly adept at positioning its (former) employers within policy and regulatory bodies in order to slant legislation in its own interests. And employees from the government sector have often left highly paid, politically well-connected jobs to take up even higher paid jobs lobbying or working on behalf on behalf corporations, with former British PM Tony Blair being a prime example, working on behalf of big oil and big finance (3).

On its website, Corporate European Observatory (CEO) provides a list of top European bureaucrats who have taken a spin through the revolving door and how the European Commission (EC) has failed to regulate the potential conflicts of interest (4).

As a result, European commissioners have now been reminded of the need to avoid conflicts of interest which undermine public trust in EU policy-making, as they near the end of their term in office. The Alliance for Lobbying Transparency and Ethics Regulation (ALTER-EU) has sent individual letters (see 5) to every serving European commissioner to remind them of their responsibilities under the revolving door rules.’

‘Manufacturing Dissent’: The Anti-globalization Movement is Funded by the Corporate Elites

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:30 By David Icke

‘“Under the New World Order, the ritual of inviting “civil society” leaders into the inner circles of power –while simultaneously repressing the rank and file– serves several important functions. First, it says to the World that the critics of globalization “must make concessions” to earn the right to mingle. Second, it conveys the illusion that while the global elites should –under what is euphemistically called democracy– be subject to criticism, they nonetheless rule legitimately. And third, it says “there is no alternative” to globalization: fundamental change is not possible and the most we can hope is to engage with these rulers in an ineffective “give and take”.

While the “Globalizers” may adopt a few progressive phrases to demonstrate they have good intentions, their fundamental goals are not challenged. And what this “civil society mingling” does is to reinforce the clutch of the corporate establishment while weakening and dividing the protest movement. An understanding of this process of co-optation is important, because tens of thousands of the most principled young people in Seattle, Prague and Quebec City [1999-2001] are involved in the anti-globalization protests because they reject the notion that money is everything, because they reject the impoverishment of millions and the destruction of fragile Earth so that a few may get richer.’

Traveling Through Palestine While Black: A Firsthand Look at a Slow-Moving Annexation

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:21 By David Icke

‘In the first several days after returning from Israel and Occupied Palestine, I dreamed of Palestine each night. It was never a pleasant dream. While I cannot remember the details, I was always left with a feeling of anxiety and insecurity. In that sense the dreams matched the realities of the Palestinians, be they citizens of Israel or residents of the Occupied Territories. It also corresponded to the emotions raised in a recent trip in which I participated.

It has become almost a cliché to speak of Gaza, the Palestinian territories on the Mediterranean controlled by Hamas and blockaded by Israel, as the largest open-air prison on the planet. Yet I am not sure I will any longer agree with the limits of that characterization. The Palestinians are all in prison. While Gaza may be a maximum security facility, the West Bank is nevertheless a prison. So little is actually controlled by Palestinians despite the formal notion of autonomy. Israeli military incursions can and do happen at any time convenient for the Israeli government and its military occupation. Palestinians are prohibited from using certain roads. The ominous and illegal separation wall, better known as the apartheid wall, spreads like a disease across the land, dividing the Palestinians not as much from the Israelis as from their own land.’

Jews against Zionism

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:18 By David Icke

‘They’re numerous, outspoken, and range from secular to orthodox to one group calling itself “True Torah Jews Against Zionism.”

They believe that “traditional” Jews don’t support Zionism, an ideology they call “contrary to Jewish law and beliefs and the teachings of the Holy Torah.” They say Zionism:

– advocates “a political and military end to the Jewish exile;”
– fosters “pseudo-Judaism” based on secular nationalism;
– coercively seeks “armed materialism” in place of “a Divine and Torah centered understanding;”
– endangers all Jews worldwide;
– wants to disassociate Jews and traditional Judaism from ideological Zionism; and
– calls Israel a “Zionist State,” not a Jewish one.’

11-year-old left to die after Israeli soldiers open fire

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:15 By David Icke

‘An unarmed Palestinian child was gravely wounded and left without medical attention for three hours after Israeli soldiers opened fire on him at the Gaza border.

On February 21, 11-year-old Fadel Abu Odwan was on his way to help his brother bring in the sheep from their grazing area near the Gaza border fence. Israeli soldiers approached and opened fire on him, leaving him to lie bleeding and unable to move, in full view of the soldiers, for three hours before medical attention was sought.

Speaking to DCI-Palestine from hospital, Fadel recalls lying on the ground after he was shot in the leg and the groin while running away from the soldiers. “I would lift my hand and look up and see the sky, and realise I was not dead yet, so I would close my eyes again and wait for death.” He remembers his thoughts vividly. “I was thinking I am going to die, I am going to be a martyr.”‘

Saudi Arabia and Qatar declare war on Iraq: Maliki

Tuesday 11th March 2014 at 03:09 By David Icke

‘Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki says Saudi Arabia and Qatar are openly declaring war on Iraq by supporting the militants in western Anbar Province.

Maliki said “they are attacking Iraq, through Syria and in a direct way, and they declared war on Iraq, as they declared it on Syria, and unfortunately it is on a sectarian and political basis.”

Iraqi security forces have been battling the militants from the al-Qaeda linked Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Anbar’s two main cities of Fallujah and Ramadi since January.

The Iraqi prime minister slammed “the dangerous Saudi stance of supporting terrorism in the world – it supports it in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt and Libya and even in countries outside the Arab world.”’

Lebanon has right to defend itself
