US and EU impose sanctions and warn Russia to relent in Ukraine standoff

Friday 7th March 2014 at 07:59 By David Icke

‘Barack Obama and his EU allies unveiled a co-ordinated set of sanctions on Thursday to punish Russia for occupying the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, imposing visa restrictions on individuals and sharpening rhetoric in what has rapidly degenerated into the worst east-west crisis since the end of the cold war.

President Obama spoke for an hour on Thursday afternoon with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. According the White House, the US president told Putin that newly-announced sanctions, introduced in co-ordination with the UK, were a response to Russia’s “violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity”.

“President Obama indicated that there is a way to resolve the situation diplomatically, which addresses the interests of Russia, the people of Ukraine, and the international community.” the White House said in a statement to reporters.’

The Looting Of Ukraine Has Begun

‘According to a report in Kommersant-Ukraine, the finance ministry of Washington’s stooges in Kiev who are pretending to be a government has prepared an economic austerity plan that will cut Ukrainian pensions from $160 to $80 so that Western bankers who lent money to Ukraine can be repaid at the expense of Ukraine’s poor. It is Greece all over again.

Before anything approaching stability and legitimacy has been obtained for the puppet government put in power by the Washington orchestrated coup against the legitimate, elected Ukraine government, the Western looters are already at work. Naive protesters who believed the propaganda that EU membership offered a better life are due to lose half of their pension by April. But this is only the beginning.

The corrupt Western media describes loans as “aid.” However, the 11 billion euros that the EU is offering Kiev is not aid. It is a loan. Moreover, it comes with many strings, including Kiev’s acceptance of an IMF austerity plan.’

Obama Bans Critics of Ukraine Coup From Entering U.S.

‘Under the sweeping language of President Barack Obama’s executive order issued today, critics of the US-backed coup in Ukraine could find themselves being banned from entering the United States.

The executive order suspends “entry into the United States, as immigrants or nonimmigrants, of such persons” who fulfil the following criteria;

“[A]ny person determined by the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State:

(i) to be responsible for or complicit in, or to have engaged in, directly or indirectly, any of the following:

(A) actions or policies that undermine democratic processes or institutions in Ukraine.’

Ukraine crisis: Crimea now part of Russia, local parliament declares

‘The de facto authorities in Crimea have announced that they consider the territory to be part of Russia after a swift vote in the local parliament.

The MPs said on Thursday morning that a referendum planned for 30 March – which was due to ask voters if they wanted more autonomy from Kiev – would now take place on 16 March, ask whether they wanted to join Russia, and only be a ratification of a decision that had already been taken.

The parliament also appealed to Moscow to assist its decision to seek union with Russia.’

Obama issues Ukraine statement from an alternative universe

‘Last Friday US President Barack Hussein Obama, the “leader of the free world”, a title gratefully no longer applied extensively in public, gave a press briefing on the situation in Ukraine before taking off for the weekend to play golf or paint pictures of dogs or whatever it is American presidents do over the weekend.

US President Obama’s statement was typically empty of substance as was all of the empty rhetoric leading up to what was to have been the invasion of Syria and as one American commentator put it a “vacuous, inexact, and tendentious statement full of the “usual bromides about respecting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and democratic future of Ukraine.” The statement however was typical of the US and their stance of “either you are with us or against us” when it comes to invading and overthrowing the governments of country after country.’

Armageddon – The Gospel According to Netanyahu

Friday 7th March 2014 at 07:56 By David Icke

‘All can be rest assured that following Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UN in September of 2012 featuring his now-infamous ‘bomb-gonna-go-boom’ cartoonery, that despite most of the world reacting with laughter at what took place, some however did not…

Yes, in lieu of any forthcoming affirmative official statements, nevertheless it’s safe to say that within the walls of various intelligence agencies around the world (and particularly within the U.S.) no one looked at it as a laughing matter–at all. Understanding that nations (and the individuals who lead them) engage in the use of multi-layered language rich in nuance, subtlety and symbolism, it can be assumed that those tasked with interpreting the political verbiage used by Armageddonistas such as Nutty Netty understood clearly the point he was trying to make.

Despite the global snicker-fest that took place, intelligence professionals knew he was not being funny or cute. Given that political animals like him are as much inclined to wasting their words as they are to wasting their time, money or votes, those paid to worry about war know that–like any drug dealer trying to squeeze every penny out of his product he can get, likewise, every consonant, vowel and syllable coming forth from the mouths of creatures such as Batty Bibi—and especially at gatherings such as the UN General Assembly–are carefully weighed, considered, and evaluated so as to achieve maximum yield.’

Lib Dems: Give more benefits to asylum seekers

Friday 7th March 2014 at 07:33 By David Icke

‘A party policy document also argues that restrictions on asylum seekers taking jobs should be relaxed.

It alleges the thousands of claimants for refugee status awaiting a decision on whether or not they can stay in the UK are becoming “increasingly worse off” under the current rules.

The Lib Dem demand for more cash for migrants provoked anger last night and fuelled the growing row between the party and its Tory Coalition partners.

The document, called Making Migration Work for Britain, is to be discussed at the Lib Dems’ spring conference in York this weekend.’

Cannibalism in the Illuminati

Friday 7th March 2014 at 07:25 By David Icke

‘”I have decided to describe two films that I saw in the late seventies. These were not Hollywood type films, these were private home movies made with a high-quality professional grade camera. These were films of high ranking Illuminati members performing cannibalism. I was told that these were filmed in a mansion owned by a member of the Committee. The Committee is the group which rules the Illuminati. My impression was that the mansion was in Europe, but I don’t know that for certain.

A man who we called Bob had made these films and showed them to certain people. He was in the Illuminati, but had become disillusioned with it’s leadership. He was trying to inspire a resistance movement to reform the Illuminati from within by creating a new leadership. He was a Satanist, but not all Satanists practice human sacrifice and cannibalism. He would show these films to people who he thought might be able to help him change the Illuminati’s leadership to make it less insanely violent.’

Dozens more cases now in doubt: Undercover police unit routinely lied to the courts

Friday 7th March 2014 at 07:08 By David Icke

‘Dozens of historic police investigations involving undercover officers are to be re-opened over potential miscarriages of justice.

A review has found that the Metropolitan Police’s Special Demonstrations Squad routinely lied to the courts and failed to reveal the involvement of its undercover officers to defence lawyers.

The revelations raise the prospect of decades- old cases being revisited.

Hundreds of political activists could have their convictions quashed, with animal rights campaigners and protesters from the far Left and Right among those whose charges will now be re-examined.’

Port Angeles couple fighting new smart meter

Friday 7th March 2014 at 06:57 By David Icke

‘The city electrical utility has threated to cut off power to a home unless the owners remove a box that blocks installation of a smart meter that sends readings wirelessly to City Hall.

The signals threaten human health and violate their right to privacy, say Virginia and Tom Leinart.

To block the installation of a wireless digital meter, they’ve built a box on the side of their house around the existing meter so it can be read, but not replaced, the Peninsula Daily News reported  Thursday.

The city has ordered the couple to remove the box.’

Connecticut: The Coming Storm

Friday 7th March 2014 at 04:42 By David Icke

‘The politicians have made their decision. By a twist of fate–your file simply happened to be on the top of the stack for no particular reason–you’ll be the first example. A state police SWAT team pull to the curb in front of your home, leap from their van and rush to your front door. Two black-clad men pull back a ram and swing it toward your front door, aiming just above the knob, while the rest of the team waits anxiously, their automatic weapons charged and off safe. Two hope they’ll get the opportunity to shoot. At least one wants to manufacture the opportunity.

You’ve made two major mistakes; they will cost your life and destroy your family: you live in a blue state where the governor and legislature have no respect for the Constitution and the lives and liberty of citizens, and you were foolish enough to obey the law.

Starting awake from a sound sleep by the explosion of your door being smashed open and the heavy stomping of booted feet, you stumble down the stairs and into the hallway. As you turn toward the sounds, you’re blinded by multiple bright lights and hear many people screaming at you, but their words are unintelligible. You raise your hands to shield your eyes, but you have your cell phone in your right hand. As soon as it comes into view, you’re overwhelmed by a tidal wave of explosive sounds and feel the first bullets rip into your body. There are stars, so many stars, winking and suddenly, everything goes silent and black and your last conscious thought is a feeling of falling.’

‘Education For All’ – The Elite’s Mono-Minding Global Plans for All Children

Friday 7th March 2014 at 04:39 By David Icke

‘The implementation of the new global education agenda uses the Common Core curriculum in public schools to get students away from traditional classroom education instruction and instead learning will come primarily from computers for their educational needs throughout our public schools. Common Core is based around “the greatest change in education in decades”, according to President Obama.

This essay, Part III, covers the global education corporation known as CORE International where big business is funneling their products and services through. Also discussed is the United Nations “Education for All” agenda.

CORE International, a privately owned corporation, works hand in glove with the United Nations and not-so-coincidentally dovetails with the same folks who are aggressively implementing their Agenda 21, TPP and ALEC plans for stated global uniformity and compliance to a one world order. CORE has been the fastest growing company in India for the past three years with over 40% growth per annum.

CORE International is already operating in over 30 country’s throughout Europe and Asia as of the end of 2013, but not more so than in the United States and England.’

Can We Reprogram Our DNA and Heal Ourselves With Frequency, Vibration & Energy?

Friday 7th March 2014 at 04:33 By David Icke

‘As though to confirm the hunch many of us had that our ‘junk’ DNA was anything but disposable, researchers from the Gene and Stem Cell Therapy Program at Sydney’s Centenary Institute have proven that 97 percent of human DNA programs or encodes proteins in our bodies. One of the researchers involved in this study said, “this discovery, involving what was previously referred to as “junk,” opens up a new level of gene expression control . . .”

This also means there are multiple modalities that mainstream science has yet to give a nod to, which just might re-train or reprogram our DNA — even cells which have become cancerous or are mutilated by the onslaught of toxins in our environment and negative emotional baggage which has been proven to have an undesirable impact on health. Many people have compared human DNA to the Internet. It communicates immense amounts of information in microcosmically small, but significant ways, mimicking a vast network of information portals, not unlike the billions of websites connected to one another all over the world. It may account for our intuition, spontaneous healing, and a number of other phenomena that mainstream science is just beginning to understand.’

Calling the Global Warming Charlatans ‘Nazis’

Friday 7th March 2014 at 04:27 By David Icke

‘On February 20th, the noted meteorologist, Dr. Roy W. Spencer, fed up with being called a “denier” of global warming, posted a commentary on his blog titled “Time to push back against the global warming Nazis.”

“When politicians and scientists started calling people like me ‘deniers’, they crossed the line. They are still doing it,” said Dr. Spencer. “They indirectly equate (1) the skeptics’ view that global warming is not necessarily all manmade nor a serious problem with (2) the denial that the Nazi’s extermination of millions of Jews ever happened.” The Holocaust happened, but global warming’s latest natural cycle ended about 17 years ago and, as a lot of people have noticed, it has been getting cold since then.

“Like the Nazis,” said Dr. Spencer, “they advocate the supreme authority of the state (fascism), which in turn supports their scientific research to support their cause…” In the case of global warming, this huge hoax was put forth by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.’

Texas Man Detained In Psychiatric Ward and Nursing Home Without Due Process

Friday 7th March 2014 at 04:21 By David Icke

‘A man says that after he drove himself to a hospital for a surgery, social workers detained him against his will and he was then put into a psychiatric ward, and ultimately a nursing home.

In a wild exhibition of state power, the man has been a prisoner without due process and no way to free himself.

On February 21st, Charlie Fink, of Arlington, Texas, drove himself to Methodist Richardson Medical Center for a scheduled hernia surgery. Fink, 85, was scheduled to leave three days later. But to his dismay, he was locked in a room against his will and told he may not leave.’

Obama Knew CIA Secretly Monitored Intelligence Committee

Friday 7th March 2014 at 04:18 By David Icke

‘A leading US senator has said that President Obama knew of an “unprecedented action” taken by the CIA against the Senate intelligence committee, which has apparently prompted an inspector general’s inquiry at Langley.

The subtle reference in a Tuesday letter from Senator Mark Udall to Obama, seeking to enlist the president’s help in declassifying a 6,300-page inquiry by the committee into torture carried out by CIA interrogators after 9/11, threatens to plunge the White House into a battle between the agency and its Senate overseers.

McClatchy and the New York Times reported Wednesday that the CIA had secretly monitored computers used by committee staffers preparing the inquiry report, which is said to be scathing not only about the brutality and ineffectiveness of the agency’s interrogation techniques but deception by the CIA to Congress and policymakers about it. The CIA sharply disputes the committee’s findings.’

Keith Alexander Supports Law To Gag Press So He Can Get His Preferred Online Surveillance Bill Passed

‘Oh, Keith Alexander, how we’re going to miss your insane claims once you retire in a few weeks — though, I’m sure that as you drift off into “retirement” only to be hired by some government contractor or lobbying organization at an insultingly high salary, that like your buddy Michael Hayden, you’ll still be good for regular bullshit quotes to news organization. Still, while on the job, Alexander seems to want to go out with a bang, talking about how the UK was correct to detain Glenn Greenwald’s partner David Miranda under an anti-terrorism law even though no one thinks he’s a terrorist. However, even more troubling, is that Alexander, who has argued that the US government needs to figure out a way to silence reporters reporting on leaked documents, claims that there’s an effort underway to create “media leaks legislation.”‘

15 Vermont Towns Vote to Start a Public Bank that Works for Them, Not Wall Street

Friday 7th March 2014 at 04:15 By David Icke

By a more than three-to-one margin on Tuesday, communities voting on whether to support the creation of a public bank in Vermont approved the idea, calling for the state legislature to establish such a bank and urging passage of legislation designed to begin its implementation.

‘In a show of direct democracy that also exposed the citizenry’s desire for a more localized and responsible banking system, fifteen of nineteen towns passed the resolution during ‘Town Meeting Day’— an annual event in which voters choose local officials, approve municipal budgets, and make their voices heard on a number of measures put before local residents for approval.

The specific proposal under consideration, Senate Bill 204, would turn an existing agency, the Vermont Economic Development Authority, into a public bank that would accept deposits and issue loans for in-state projects. Currently, the only state in the U.S. to maintain a public state bank is North Dakota.

However, since the financial downturn of 2008, other states have looked into replicating the North Dakota model as a way to buck Wall Street while taking more control of state and local finances.’

Venezuela breaks ties with Panama over ‘conspiracy’

The Ongoing Venezuela Coup 2 Attempt – Joaquin Flores

U.S. Venezuelan Relations: Imperialism and Revolution

‘Historically Latin America has been of great importance to the United States on numerous counts: the region has in the past, provided the US with a trade surplus; its outflows of licit and ill-begotten funds to US banks, numbers annually in the tens of billions; the US has been, up to recently, the major trading partner in the region; Latin America has provided a lucrative outlet for US buyouts of oil, telecoms, banking and related strategic mining companies during the golden age of imperial pillage (1975 – 1999). Throughout most of the 20th century the US could rely on the vote of its client regimes in the United Nations (UN), the Organization of American States (OAS) and in the international financial institution (IMF, WB, IDB) to back its efforts to sustain its global political and economic expansion.

In the latter half of the 20th century Latin America was an important target for the expansion of US based agro-mineral, transport (Ford, General Motors and Chrysler), farm machinery and other multi-national manufacturers. Within this regional pattern of US empire building, each country played a different role: Argentina, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia were targeted by manufacturing multi-national corporations (MNC) banks and exporters; Central America and the Caribbean for tropical fruits, tourism and export platforms, Bolivia, Peru and Chile for minerals; Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador for oil and gas. Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, were principle suppliers of cheap labor in the agricultural, construction and low paid service sector.’

Six States Where Fracking Earthquakes are a New Feature of Reality

Friday 7th March 2014 at 04:03 By David Icke

‘It may be profitable for some in the short term, but there are serious and growing concerns about the long-term affects this is having on the environment and on the health of communities near fracturing wells. The major, recognized adverse affects of fracking already include:

High Levels of Water Use
High Usage of Sand and Proppants
Use of Toxic Proprietary Chemical Fracking Fluids
Contamination of Surface Water and Soil
Contamination of Groundwater
Air Quality and Pollution
Disposal of Wastewater and Other Waste Chemicals
Release of Radioactive Materials From Underground

Although the oil and gas industry simply will not admit it, another shocking side effect of hydraulic gas fracturing is the creation of of earthquakes in areas where earthquakes had previously been rare or non-existent. In addiction to the anecdotal evidence of residents in highly fracked areas, The United States Geological Survey has also recently reported on the dramatic increase of earthquakes in just the Eastern United States, and has linked this rise to fracking:’

Can’t Pay for School Lunch, Kids? Have Fun Starving While The School Throws Your Food Away

Friday 7th March 2014 at 04:00 By David Icke

What in the hell is going on in our schools today?

No, I’m not just talking about the atrocity that is common core. All over the country, stories are surfacing of hungry public school children who don’t have enough money to pay for school lunches getting their food seized and thrown in the garbage instead.

That’s right. When a student can’t afford to pay for the government-subsidized tripe our education facilities pass off to our kids as food, or if they are even short a few measly cents in some cases, these children have to stand there hungry and watch in humiliation as the school employees throw their food in the garbage!

The schools aren’t billing the parents and giving the student this food which they are apparently just going to completely waste by tossing it in the trash anyway. Nope. Because that might, you know, make at least a modicum of sense.’

If Thoughts Can Do This To Water – Imagine What They Can Do To Us

Friday 7th March 2014 at 03:45 By David Icke

‘The experiment tested the hypothesis that water exposed to distant intentions affects the aesthetic rating of ice crystals formed from that water. Basically, it tested whether intentions could influence the physical structure of water (as mentioned earlier). Over a period of three days, approximately 2000 people in Austria and Germany focused their intentions towards water samples that were placed inside an electromagnetically shielded room in California.

Other samples were located outside of the shielded room so that they could act as a distant control. Ice drops formed from multiple samples of water in different treatment conditions were photographed by a technician. Each image was assessed for aesthetic beauty by over 2,500 independent judges and the results of the data were analyzed by individuals who were blind with respect to the treatment conditions.

Results showed that the test was consistent with a number of previous studies suggesting that intention may be able to influence the structure of water.’

Yale study spotlights FDA’s ineffectiveness in ensuring drug safety

Friday 7th March 2014 at 03:42 By David Icke

‘The FDA’s standards for approving new drugs are inconsistent and lacking in important areas, according to an analysis conducted by researchers from Yale University and published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

“Not all FDA approvals are created equally,” researcher Nicholas Downing said.

According to the researchers, the study is the first to systematically examine the FDA’s drug approval standards, and it calls into question the assumption that all drugs prescribed in the United States are safe or effective.

“Based on our analysis, some drugs are approved on the basis of large, high-quality clinical trials, while others are approved based on results of smaller trials,” senior author Joseph Ross said. “There was a lack of uniformity in the level of evidence the FDA used.”‘

The Powers and Abuses of America’s Mega-Corporations

Friday 7th March 2014 at 03:36 By David Icke

‘In 2010 the NeoConservative, pro-corporate, anti-democratic Roberts’ 5/4 Supreme Court’s decided in the Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission ruling to grant personhood to corporations by allowing unlimited, anonymous monetary contributions to political campaigns and candidates. This ruling, called by many to be the worst Supreme Court decision of the past century, has emboldened the already powerful and corruptible multinational corporations (that now have achieved dominion over US politics as well as the economy) to “buy” any number of politicians and brain-wash voters by multi-million dollar ad campaigns that the rest of us can’t afford to counter in state and national elections.

The US Supreme Court has thus made legal the absurd notion that inanimate corporations like PolyMet and GTac (potential despoilers of northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin’s irreplaceable wetlands, aquifers and aboriginal land and water rights) deserve the same privileges (but not the same responsibilities) as living humans.

After the ruling came down, there was only a brief bit of outrage from the so-called national leadership of our essentially “one-party system” (one-party, that is, when it comes to the GOP and Democratic Party’s corporate and militarist agendas). What outrage was expressed was quickly drowned out by a well-timed, mainstream media-orchestrated “tempest in a teapot”, namely Toyota’s recall of tens of thousands of accelerator pedals (that had only infrequently been the cause of significant accidents).’

Pentagon Calls Climate Change Impacts ‘Threat Multipliers,’ Could Enable Terrorism

Friday 7th March 2014 at 03:33 By David Icke

‘The U.S. Department of Defense released the 2014 version of its Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR) yesterday, declaring the threat of climate change impacts a very serious national security vulnerability that, among other things, could enable further terrorist activity.

Released every four years, the QDR is a broad outline of U.S. military strategy discussing how to maintain global U.S. military hegemony. Like the 2010 document, the 64-page 2014 QDR again highlights the threats posed to national security by ever-worsening global climate disruption.

“The impacts of climate change may increase the frequency, scale, and complexity of future missions, including defense support to civil authorities, while at the same time undermining the capacity of our domestic installations to support training activities,” the report details.’

Meet the Company That Can Track Everywhere You’ve Been and Tell Police About It

Friday 7th March 2014 at 03:30 By David Icke

‘Last month, the Department of Homeland Security called for bids on a national license plate tracking system. The database would contain information from license-plate-reader cameras that scan and log passing cars and assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement in hunting down “criminal aliens and absconders,” according to the contract proposal. As the Washington Post pointed out, DHS failed to address the privacy issues that might arise from recording the movements of anyone who’s ever been in a car.

After the bid unleashed a torrent of criticism and bad publicity, DHS canceled the contract proposal and claimed that ICE leadership didn’t even know about this effort to up their game. Everyone relaxed; DHS was not trying to build a database of everybody’s vehicular movements after all. As it turns out, DHS didn’t need a national license-plate database, because such a database already exists. It’s run by a private company called Vigilant Solutions and ICE and other law enforcement agencies have been dipping into it for years, according to documents obtained by ACLU Massachusetts.’

Palestine activists, labor and environment groups in US unite against Veolia

‘On 18 November 2012, Thomas Hock, the vice president of labor relations for Veolia Transportation, checked into the Marriott Hotel in downtown Oakland, California, for a three-night stay in the San Francisco Bay Area.

A month earlier, BART — the Bay Area Rapid Transit rail system — had quietly hired Hock as a labor consultant in preparation for the impending contract negotiations between BART and its employees.

By the end of his short visit, Hock had billed $7,000 in consulting fees at $350 an hour — and that was just the beginning.

Following his first November visit, Hock would make an additional seven trips to the Bay Area, racking up $83,000 in fees and expenses, before being hired under contract to serve as the chief negotiator beginning on 1 April 2013.’

Kerry: Israel’s security is our first priority

Friday 7th March 2014 at 03:18 By David Icke

‘”Israel’s security is our first priority,” U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said at the annual AIPAC conference in Washington D.C., Haaretz.com reported.

As for the current faltering so-called peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Kerry said both Israelis and the Palestinians are faced with tough choices.

He noted that he believes Israeli occupation prime pinister Netanyahu is “committed” to peace, and that PA President Abbas “understands the costs of failure.”

Israel’s unilateral withdrawals from Lebanon and from Gaza prove the need to negotiate peace, he said and vowed that the U.S. “will not let the West Bank turn into another Gaza.”‘

Rouhani deepens Iran’s ties with Iraq

Friday 7th March 2014 at 03:15 By David Icke

‘On Feb. 25, during meetings between Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Iraqi counterpart, Hoshyar Zebari, the two sides announced that they have agreed to finally implement the 1975 Algiers Agreement to regulate their land and river borders and, most importantly, to dredge the Shatt-al-Arab river, an important waterway for both countries. Experts from both sides are finalizing the details of the agreement, which will be signed within weeks in Tehran. The accord is yet another important step in consolidating a relationship that is becoming the most significant axis in the entire West Asian region.

Zarif, who has traveled to Baghdad twice in the past six months, said, “Iran and Iraq have historic and solid ties that are based on religious, political, geographical and cultural commonalities, and we are very happy that we have put behind us a short but bitter episode of our history. Today, the friendly and brotherly people of Iraq and Iran have two governments that also wish to have friendly and brotherly relations.”

Zebari also commented, “Through calm and continuous work in the past two years among expert committees of the two sides, we have reached good agreements on our land and river borders and on the waterways between the two countries.”
