Default Foods while pregnant

Does anyone know which are the best foods while pregnant?

Any super foods that we are not taugt about

whole grains
lots of fruit
lots of veggies

avoid fish and seafood due to mercury content that will be passed to baby

I'd agree with this but get as much organic as you can ...also get a water filter pref. a distiller and congrats

Raw milk, butter, cheese. Food with omega 3 oils and DHA.

And listen to your body. It will tell you much of what you need.

Eat a balanced diet and if you find yourself craving something, look into what vitamins and minerals are in that food, then supplement them with stuff from the health food shop.

definitely!

avoid junk foods as this weight gain will stay with you and not the baby.

I believe a pregnant woman would only eat that stuff for so long. A frozen eclair and a pile of nachos is usually used for satisfaction.

Don't tell a woman what to eat when she is pregnant. Her craving will most likely end up in your death if you try to stop/control her appetite.
