The only problem is that I am worried that Ammonium "Alum" may be dangerous too I have found out that, as I had suspected, the word "Alum" is short for aluminium. Do any of you know about this stuff. I assume some of you must have come across it at some stage.PLEASE HELP!!!

I use this: http://www.thecrystal.com/
It works. You can buy different brands at natural healing stores. Costs about 10$ or so. |

You can get a chunk of crystal rock deodorant from most health food shops. You just wet it and use When you finish, rinse it to get the bacteria off. It lasts forever.

I think I smell pretty rank, but I work out on the farm about 45 hours a week in the sun, so I sweat all the time, I think that reduces the smell signifigantly!
Besides, my girlfriend likes the way I smell, And I LOVE THE WAY SHE SMELLS, much more smelly than I am. Other people at work complain about her scent, but it drives me wild. I think people should find others who enjoy each other's smells as sexual partners since it means they are more sexualy compatable! Lose the deoderant, just rock your own dang scent! |

I don't either. If anyone would like a scent, then try a couple of essential oil drops under the arms pit, or anywhere on the body.
I will not stand or sit next to anyone wearing deodorants based with artificial fragrance. Maybe I'm allergic, the smell is overpowering. I often walk along the beach and many walk by stinking of chemical deodorants, the smell can linger for awhile. Same said about the airfresh'ners you plug into the power point. |

yeah, if you like smelling like a hippy.
Secret here, greater love, health and even sex is to be found in the utilization of your own special scent. I recomend unless you work and sweat a lot don't take a shower more than one every two days. If you can just dunk yourself in a river or a pond that is clean replace every other shower and do it again as often as possible. I live on the delaware, a big ol' trout river. I feel so good affter a good frolick |

![]() But the latest on my situation is that I have decided to just use soap and water and nothing else because that stuff irrated me very badly and made me itch bad too. I dont trust it, it's made of ammonium alum whatever that is, sounds dodgy to me and feels dodgy too. I will use soap and water twice a day where necessary cos I dont sweat much even when I play footy and stuff. So what I am trying to say i'm not a smelly bastard

I'm a member of the no spray club too! And no I do not smell!
Interestingly, is it natural for a healthy human being to smell nasty? Is it not the case that a clean body doesn't need chemicals to mask the smell? Wouldn't just be ironic that chemicals and internal festering are causing toxic smells - and through perspiration they body expels them. The spray might just be pumping more chemicals in so it's a viscous circle. Spray it in = spray it out ![]() The funniest thing is (as with most issues!) is that the sheeple never think about not using spray - 'not use spray, err you're disgusting'. what a joke, do these people think we were born with a can of chemicals in our hand? Few people have the insight to actually stop, think and see what happens. Many people's insides are full of mold and highly acidic - it makes sense that this smells like crap - stop using chemical sprays, cleanse and see how you smell. |

that my Husband uses and he has used it for years as he could not use regular deodorants - He actually read about it in a Men Health magazine and has been using it ever since with no problems or odours!!! Or rashes : Its called : Zinc Starch & Boracic Powder Its a white powder .. its made here by Link - not sure if this company is manufacturing overseas. Anyway try it - it really works wonderfully! |

Ah good thread hehe I use to use the spray stuff but it really irritated me. Made my nose running and just made me feel sick using it. I started on the roll on stuff but i didnt know if that contained aluminium.
I use Tea Tree Deodorant which is aluminium free, feel fine when using it. Just go to a health food store and ask there. ^_^ |

If you have read this thread, you will know that I no longer use any forum of deodorant. I dont pong by the way lol.
Anyway, today I bought a himalayan salt deodorant block. Have any of you ever tried this cos I had never tried it before, I only heard of it today ? It doesnt contain aluminium, but I'm not sure if it contains "alum" :- http://www.awelon-gemstones.co.uk/Hi...0deodorant.htm
