On the walls of the tombs of the earlier dynasties, the snake is depicted as a friendly creature which bears the king on his back into the stellar sky. It is symbolic of the king’s being carried by the serpent-god to the land of immortality, to the land of the gods.

At about this time, the snake was adopted as a symbol of kingship or godship and began to appear as the "uraeus," the divine asp on the headdress of the pharaoh.

(The Uraeus (plural Uraei or Uraeuses, from the Greek οὐραῖος, from Egyptian jʿr.t (iaret) "rearing cobra") is the stylized, upright form of an Egyptian spitting cobra (asp, serpent, or snake), used as a symbol of sovereignty, royalty, deity, and divine authority in ancient Egypt.)

But in the New Kingdom after the first kings of the 18th Dynasty had rid the country of the hated Hyksos, the serpent takes on an evil character. It becomes an evil object to be exorcised at rituals. Called Apep or Apop (Greek Apophis), it is the manifestation of the foreign barbaric Hyksos who had invaded and occupied Egypt for hundreds of years.

[Comment: According to Dr. Velikovsky, the Hyksos invaded Egypt at the same moment in time that the Israelites fled, i.e., around 1600 BCE. They ruled a conquered Egypt until about 1000 BCE when King Thutmose I of the 18th Dynasty expelled them forever and established the New Kingdom.]

Apop was the original Hyksos ruler and with his descendants ruled from the 14th through the 17th Dynasty. Many of the rulers adopted the name Apop and in particular the last Hyksos king to be defeated by Ahmose and Kamose, the founders of the 18th Dynasty.

Apop possessed many epithets and in ceremonies meant to destroy him was cursed by a number of names. The ritual is reminiscent of the "yajna" ceremony of the ancient Hindus who called out the various names of the snakes as they were thrown into the fire. The Egyptian hate was deeply rooted in the memory of the cruel rule of the Hyksos kings who systematically destroyed Egyptian culture and monuments. We shall see that these hated people were none other than the descendants of the Rephaim, the offspring of the antediluvian Nefilim, who ruled the lands of the Middle East after the Deluge.

The Tribe of Dan also used the symbols of the serpent and the eagle Genesis says that the Danites did not have a known genealogy and were not related to the early Israelites.


They were a sea-faring people (the Danuna or Denyen to the Egyptians) and many settled in northern Europe. The names of Denmark (Danmark), the River Danube and Ireland's Tuatha de Danann or "People of the Goddess Danu", would seem to be expressions of the Danites and this is one reason why there is such a North African influence in Irish history. The Egypt-Sumer-connected Phoenicians made the same sea journeys as the Danites and they were almost certainly the same people.



The Danite colors were red and white, just like the Phoenicians, and these are the colours of the Knights Templar that has its famous red cross on the white background displayed as the flag of England or the Flag of St George. This is a Phoenician deity called George of Cappadocia in what is now Turkey, the same country as Troy.

The Phoenicians were also called Hyas or Hehaya (Horse Warriors). The Hopis still preserve this name in their myth of emergence. On the bottom of the coin, you'll see a map of the world, with the Mediterranean at the center of the Phoenician world.

The Phoenicians themselves claimed to have been civilized since about 30,000 BC.

In 1904, Jogendra Mohon Gupta, wrote an essay in which he thoroughly described his hypothesis that the Phoenicians were the fathers of all world civilizations:

The Phoenicians held their own civilization to be the most ancient and declared it to be thirty thousand years old. There is however no doubt that they were one of the first civilized nations of the world, if not the first, and that Phoenicia was not their first home. Instead of tracing them to their first settlements on the coasts of Arabia or Persia or in Afghanistan the historians of Europe have located them at once in Phoenicia, and hence the mistake that points to the origin of all civilization in Egypt. I would not discuss here the question whether Afghanistan was the first home of the Phoenicians or not. But I would affirm that the Panis or Panih of the Rig Veda were the same people as the ancient Phoenicians of Afghanistan.

The Los Lunas Decalogue Stone is a large boulder on the side of Hidden Mountain, near Los Lunas, New Mexico, about 35 miles south of Albuquerque, that bears a very regular inscription carved into a flat panel. The stone is also known as the Los Lunas Mystery Stone or Commandment Rock. The inscription is interpreted to be an abridged version of the Decalogue or Ten Commandments in a form of Paleo-Hebrew. A letter group resembling the tetragrammaton YHWH, or "Yahweh," makes four appearances. The stone is controversial in that some claim the inscription is Pre-Columbian, and therefore proof of early Semitic contact with the Americas.

Because of the stone's weight of over 80 tons, it was never moved to a museum or laboratory for study and safekeeping. Many visitors have cleaned the stone inscriptions over the years, likely destroying any possibility for scientific analysis of the inscriptions' patina. Nevertheless, comparing it to a modern inscription nearby, geologist G. E. Morehouse, a colleague of Barry Fell, estimated that the inscription could be between 500 and 2000 years old.


When a site has been continuously inhabited for thousands of years, it can be very difficult to find traces of its earliest inhabitants. For this reason it is not certain exactly when the first humans came to dwell in the land that is now Lebanon, that we will refer to as Canaan for the time being – a territory including today's Lebanon and Palestine. The earliest known installation is located in Byblos and dates from the end of the Neolithic, in other words 5000 years BC. It lasted at least a millennium before the appearance of copper marked the beginning of the Eneolithic era c. 3800 BC. The inhabitants of Canaan belonged then to a race of men that ethnologists call Mediterranean due to the fact it occupied the islands and shores of that sea. This race would be a basis for the earliest civilisations of the Western part of Asia, but we know nothing of their language.

Around 3200 BC this civilisation disappeared suddenly in the sense that its primitive practices were abruptly and thoroughly replaced by much more elaborate techniques, its hut villages overcome by a full-fledge urban culture. As the period coincides with the entrance of Egypt and Mesopotamia on the scene of history, we can see that the drastic changes were not limited to Canaan, but affected the entire region. Clearly the reason for this general leap in progress was input from the outside, in other words an important migration that brought new technologies to the Middle East. These invaders possessed urban, military and industrial techniques, and above all, copper technology, which means they can only have come from the mining areas of Armenia and the Caucasus. In Byblia Grammata Maurice Dunand, a major authority on Phoenician archaeology, points out that the book of Genesis may contain the memory of these migrations: after the Deluge, the cradle of the renewed populations of the Orient is none other than Mount Ararat in Armenia, and Noah's descendants are said to "found the cities".

Whoever designed Stonehenge must have had a very advanced knowledge of mathematics and astronomy.

Regarding the tradition that "giants" occupied Britain before Brutus, and that "giants" were the builders of the Stone Circle, and megaliths and "giants' tombs," in Britain, Britany, Mauretania, Sardinia, and in other places colonized by the Phoenicians, it is significant that the Mor, Muru, Maruta or "Amorites" of Syria-Phoenicia-Palestine are called "giants" by the Hebrews in their Old Testament. They are, moreover, also called there "the sons of Anak (Beni-anak)." Now "Anak" in Akkadian is a name for "Tin." And Tarshish, which, as Tarz or Tarsus, we have seen was a chief port of the Amorite Phoenicians, and which we know was actually visited and conquered by Sargon I., is thus celebrated in the Old Testament in connection with Tyre of the Phoenicians: "Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches; with silver, iron, TIN, and lead, they traded in thy fairs."

It would thus appear that the Tin which was imported into ancient Palestine, and which entered into the bronze that decorated Solomon's temple, and formed sacred vessels in that sanctuary, was presumably obtained in most part, if not altogether, from the Phoenician Tin-mines of Ancient Britain.

Heh - then there's the scholars (seriously) who claim that the Scotch are descended from the Scythians who called themselves the SCOLOTI. The `Scoloti' believed they were descended from Hercules and a mighty Drakaina (dragon). She stole Hercules prize horses while he was traveling through Scythia. The Drakaina told Hercules she would only give the horses back if he slept with her and gave her children. It took the Drakaina a few years but she got three sons out of ol Hercules. And this was the beginning of the Scythian/Scoloti race.

The Scythians/Scoloti were the `horseman of the steppes'. Along with their cousins, the Sauromatians, (lizard people) they invented scale armor and carried the dragon pennant, in honor of their Drakaina mother. This dragon flag was later adopted by the Romans and the Brits. This evolved into the armored knights of yore and King Arthur's lore - Pendragon. The Scoloti were also rich and had a whole lot of gold, which helped their mystique considerably in Scotland.

I love what scholars and people in general do with history. Always trying to steal someone else's thunder. The Jews also claim to be the true Scythians, something about the `Lost Tribes'. Then there's the Turks, they wanna be Scythians too...Of course the Russians are still living there where the Scythians lived, but who cares what they think...

The symbol of Wales is a dragon which along with the lion, griffon, serpent, and eagle could be considered a symbol of Dan.

The symbol of the Hyksos was a griffin which had the body of a lion and head of an eagle.

In Irish accounts the Tribe of Dana came from Greece and had fought there against the Philistines.

Nothing in this book was written with the "mysterious" Hyksos peoples in mind, and yet I am finding that they and the Danaans were one. This chapter explains.

It must have been quite "coincidental" that less than a week after realizing the mount-Hermon roots of Herminone Germanics (who worshiped Tiwaz/Zio), I up and decided to see what Barbara Aho had been writing lately (her topics are similar to mine here), as I hadn't checked in a year or two, and behold I found that she was out spreading a message that certain modern Israelites are at this time prepared to spend eight million dollars on a Temple building in a theme/amusement park at mount Hermon. I learned her opinion that mount Sion (i.e. Hermon, not Jerusalem) was the sacred ground of Templars who formed the Priory of Sion...something that was beginning to cross my mind.

She claimed that mount Hermon was longitude 33 degrees when Paris was zero degree, wherefore she asserts that 33 has become sacred to Illuminatists because it was the longitude of Sion. She distinguishes between Sion and Zion of Jerusalem, implying that the Priory of Sion was not Jerusalem based. She believes as I do that Hermon was named after Hermes, evidenced by the fact that Panias is a city at the foot of Hermon and known to be named after Pan, the Greek god.

The dynasty came to an end when Amenemhat IV and was succeeded by his sister/wife Nefrusobek. Queen Nefrusobek ( Queen Sobekneferu) was the last ruler of 11th
Dynasty and daughter of Amenemhat III. Sobekneferu apparently ruled for only some four years, but is known from a number of monuments and artifacts, including five
statues, fragments relating to the mortuary temple of Amenemhat III at Hawara, scarabs, seals and beads, as well as from a Nile inundation record. This latter document from
the Nubian fortress of Kumma relates a poor flood of some 1.83 meters, and dates to Sobekneferu's last year.

The name 'Sobekneferu' means, "The beauties of Sobek", the crocodile god. The rulers of the 12th Dynasty also established a religious and economic center in the Fayoum
where the crocodiles were nurtured and worshipped.She built monuments throughout Egypt and her rule was recognized as far south as Lower Nubia. She also seems to
have carried on as queen or co-regent in the 12 Dynasty and is possibly the mother or adoptive mother of Moses and /or wife of Moses who became the first king or
pharaoh of the 12th Dynasty.

The Mysterious Shar-Dana

The Shardana were a tribe of warrior-farmers -- just like the tribe of Dan! Remember, Dan was prophesied to be a "lion's whelp" -- a warlike tribe.

Say Alastair Service and Jean Bradbery in Megaliths and their Mysteries of the Shardana:

"They were farmers and warriors, and in each of their dominions they developed quite new sorts of monument particular to each island. The designs and structural techniques appear to be rooted in the earlier European megalithic tradition. But their Giants' Tomb, Taula, Navetas, Nuraghi and other forms are an impressive original finale to the long story of megalithic architecture. That story finally ends with the roman conquest of Menorca in 23 B.C." (p. 19).

The "Tower people," or Shardana, or tribe of Dan, conquered Corsica around 1400 B.C., the same time Israel entered the Promised Land under Joshua. Their occupation lasted until 800 B.C., or possibly as late as 500 B.C. (about the same time Assyria took Israel into captivity, 718-721 B.C., or near the time of the Babylonian captivity of Judah in 587 B.C.).



In the book of Judges, we learn another trait of this tribe. In the song of Deborah and Barak, during the time of the Judges, the song asks, "Why did Dan remain in ships?" (Judges 5:17). Or, "Dan abode in ships." The tribe of Dan was a mighty SEA-FARING tribe, which loved to sail the seas.

History tells us more about these ancient Danites. At the same time Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt, with the kingdom of Egypt left in shambles, some chose not to follow Moses into the land of Canaan. About 1500 B.C., a last flowering of megalithic culture occurred. On the island of Sardinia in the Mediterranean Sea, a tower-building people sometimes called the Shardana emerged, and soon dominated Sardinia and then invaded Corsica and the Balearics, and ruled them for about a thousand years. These were ancient Danites! Their very name identifies them! They gave their name to their island, Sar DINia, and their very name SharDANa, proves who they really were. In Hebrew, the term "sharon" means a level "plain." It comes from the root word yashar, meaning "to make straight or even, right, pleasant, prosperous." The "Shardana" were nothing more than the "prosperous DANites," the tribe of Dan! The term "sar" or "shar" in Hebrew means "chief," "prince," "ruler," from which such words as "Tsar," "Caesar," "Kaiser," etc., derive. The "Shar-Dana," then, were the chiefs or princes of DAN!

On the Shetland Isles, on the far edge of Europe, a series of monumental stone towers – known as Brochs - once dominated the landscape. Aubrey sets off to discover what sort of community built the Broch towers and for what purpose.

On the island of Mousa, he visits the most complete Broch anywhere in Scotland and discovers its sophisticated architecture. Brochs are in commanding positions on the coast and many are within sight of another, raising the possibility that they were used for defence and communication. But who was the enemy? One idea is Roman slave traders. The real mystery is how these bleak islands could support a population prosperous enough to build the network of more than a hundred Brochs.

Aubrey visits a recently discovered site at Scatness, where a Broch is at the heart of an Iron Age settlement. Here there are finds of animal bone, barley grains, and metalwork which archaeologists from Bradford University are hoping will help to unravel the mystery of the Broch people.

Piecing together evidence from Scatness, from local fishermen, and crofters still growing ancient strains of barley, Aubrey works out how the ancient Shetlanders could have lived and even prospered. He finds evidence of a people who made good use of local resources such as soapstone, iron and copper. Using peat for fuel they seem to have been proficient metal workers. And bronze objects made from copper and tin suggest they were even trading, perhaps with Cornwall, to obtain the tin they needed.

Meanwhile, carbon dating of material from the Scatness Broch revealed a date of 400 BC, much earlier than expected. It rules out the theory that the Brochs were built as defence against the Romans.

It seems the Brochs may instead have been prestigious homes for the elite of society. Aubrey concludes that in the Iron Age, Shetland was home to one of the most sophisticated and successful communities in Western Europe.
