Default Even here.

Even here, it's here that I run
to words of comfort; the tiny sun
under which hearts are enlightened
hidden by shadows of truth
away from the night:
In full view of unseen light
It's here that i run
with faltering step I trip
and get up again and run.

Default eden's gardener

From the new light
She conjures jasmine, moonflower, thistle:
For her pleasure keeps the spinning moth
Close to the flame
Letting it turn to the earth hot;
With Bronte's eyes
She turns to Venus
Taking golden seed
Into Her hand a pale little dove,
Not to feed but to hide

Default An old poem of mines ...

Embrace Nature

Kiss the dew of honeysuckles
like a graceful butterfly
Taste the fragrant rain
as it falls from the sky

In me you see the sunshine
spilling over this beautiful Earth
Shining gold over the seas
quenching life of its thirst

Bath your being in the river
under white waterfalls pure
Look deep into my eyes
for an ultimate cure

Rollick in the fields
touch a rose with your fingertips
Devour within its petals
close your eyes, lick your lips

I am the honey from the bee
so smooth and sticky sweet
I am the dark rich syrup
erupting from the maple tree

Ready to burst into streams
of delicious ocean sprays
Come splash inside
of my kiwi flavour waves

Let my essence embrace you
as well as the Creator
who blessed life with such savory nature

Default In This Moment.

In this moment,
this moment here,

I float in a quantum sea.

Electric blue and crystal clear.
It's feet up time for me.

An aching soul and weary heart,

calls by to soak among the suds,

a brief respite,
for bleary eyes tripping over all the different 'shoulds'.

In this moment,
this moment here,

I float in a quantum sea.

I thank this moment,
float on my back,
and feel as though,
I am free.

Default Emily Jane

I turn the covers over
and lie at your breast
like a child listening,
waiting to be fed;
rich milk
wasted on my lips.
To awake with
Fierce grip.

Some of mine. Hope you enjoy

And yet it is a dream
That offers what the bearer wants
And yet what the bearer wants
Is the offering of a dream
And yet it is a dream
To offer what the bearer takes
And yes there is time
To dance your dream awake.

They’re in there again
I can hear them
I know it’s them
I’ve seen them
I can tell the sound they make
Whack my cakes
Whack my cakes
Do it with a book
Do it with a bottle
The whole place shook
But I think you got ‘em
‘cause when I looked I saw the bottom
I don’t care how long it takes
‘cause I really Love the sound it makes
Whack my cakes
Whack my cakes
Whack my cakes.

God is the sun on my neck
The seed in the ground
The walk down the street without any sound
The way the cliffs hang
And the river rolls by
The way the birds don’t try to fly
The fleeting glimpse of a chance mistook
The pages of an unloved book
The bed that is empty
The struggle within
The first stone cast without any sin
The face of a bear through the bars in a zoo
The disgrace that he feels whilst staring at you
The fall of an acorn, the crouch of a cat
The chain of events turning this into that
The laughter, the silence, the joy and the rage
The mystic, the misfit, the seer and the sage
The lost and the lonely, the song of the rain
The blessed and the cursed, profound and profane
The leper, the madman, the swan and the fox
Steel strings stretched across a curved wooden box
The cord of light between you and I
The moon and her passage across the sky
God is the Love and the hatred of life
God is the darkness, the sadness, the light.

Paper,
rustle,
mind.

Bustle,
thoughts,
blind.

Down,
creeping,
arm.

Dare,
not,
look.

Sea,
your,
charm.

Write,
your,
book.

A woman's shoulders are the front lines of her mystique,
and her neck, if she's alive, has all the mystery of a border town.
A no-man's land in that battle between the mind and the body.

Default Another old 'un from me.....

Ode to an Alcoholic.

Now you lie dead
on a mortuary bed
stone cold sober
for the first time ever
with a tag on your toe
telling what we already know
that your liver gave up
and your brain turned to pulp
and you bled from every hole
God help your soul!

And i look up and cry
"It took death to make him dry!"
but you'll have to come back
to find what you lack
and that's the strength to fight
an alcoholic addiction with all your might.

How many more lifetimes will it take
to learn from your mistake?
You've already had a few
as an alcoholic too
no chances anymore
God's stopped keeping score
nil points to the drunk that's dead
and lies on a mortuary bed.

And when you meet your saviour
be on your best behaviour
lots of explaining to do
and apologising too
of how you failed again
and chose to remain
as a drunk
and a spiritual flunk
but he'll love you just as i do
and heal your soul
and make you whole.

So as i cradle your head
and tuck you in your mortuary bed
i realise the truth
that at least you have your proof
that 'God' does exist
and the soul can't get pissed!!

I just wrote this while leaving a comment on the below youtube video!

2pac ft Outlawz - U Can Be Touched

My comment/poem

You better slow down, take time to learn who you are,
time to play the real, and give up on playing the star,
stay true to you, understand what real men do,
take care of those who take care of you,
protect your essence, count your blessings,
only real men stand up to our suppressors,
stay true, do what you got to do,
no compromise, no disguise, find your soul through your eyes.
The times are coming, war drums are drumming,
the rules are rearranged, we got to do something!

The rage of an Angel.

The rage of an angel tames the beasts of corruption
her pain and desolation becomes a whirlwind of destruction
against those who reek from the stench of their own stagnation
into ignorance, inhumanity
and ultimate insanity.

She'll wage her war on those who caused her violation
no more will she suffer such degradation
her torment, her shame, her torrent of tears
a raging storm through these cruel and bitter years.

The fire of truth, the wrath of love
an iron fist in velvet glove
will burn and break and tear apart
the blackest mind, the cruelest heart.

An angels rage against the beasts corruption
till like the phoenix she'll rise from the ashes of their destruction
crying "love, peace and retribution!"

Default Jesuit

I drank His wine
To take His body into mine
And Kissed His shivering lips
In His garden’s
Silver night: I took his lovers,
Bronte, Lawrence
And lay with them under grey branch.
There I took my life,
Arisen by the red morn
Soaked with tears
Wanting Him near, but finding here
The black bird pecking at my hand
Filled with wasted need
From Rimbaud’s mouth,
Green and sugar sweet.

Default Our Love

Now our paths have crossed
In ways unruly
On our hearts embossed
I love thee truly

Bliss and joyful tears
Greet our remembrance
Set aside all fears
Of our resemblance

As we come to see
That we are one flesh
In love and yet free
My sweet In Lak'ech!
