or people who have never left their country and thus have never ever seen another country , can believe that their are other countries in the world yet find it hard to believe in god ? they then say seeing is believing yet never admit they havent seen the other countries . if you have never seen both , why believe one and not the other . ![]()

I take it you believe in gods, and someone you have been talking to recently doesn't believe in them?

Take what you like , it means nothing to me that you think i believe in gods . a simple joke that holds substance of truth does not make me a god believer . it seems as though ------it is you who holds beliefs . Not I .

Well sorry about that. I am only human when it comes to guaging one's intent.
The first part was actually a humorous observation. But the second part seemed to be pushing a fallacious argument into the train of thought the first part induced. |

I've seen photo's of other countries. Not seen one of god yet!
And no hippies to post pictures of babies or flowers or something similar then saying "there dude, there, look, god is in the petals" Go back to your mung bean sandwich! ![]()

But how a sign saying "wet paint", is often treated with doubt, is true.
I remember often testing the paint in those situations, to see if it was indeed wet. ![]() Is why I thought it was a humurous observation. There is a very good reason for that part of our behaviour though. Last edited by ex_anser_ovo; 29-07-2009 at 11:35 PM. |
