Default My Astrology blog, any astro questions?

Hi there, I would love to get some questions from people who are interested in astrology.

I have just started an astrology blog and if you want to ask any questions about astrology I am all to happy to answer them. The aim of the blog is to provide information to people, and also to entertain - hopefully

Please let me know if there is anything you would like me to post on my blog, I have been an avid astrologer since I was about 11 or 12, I am now 32, so I just want to share my knowledge of astrology, but also of the esoteric side of the subject.

http://astrologybybex.blogspot.com/

Peace and lurve

Hiya

I have Mars in Pisces, and some astrology woman ( who i didnt like because she ripped me off moneywise, a greedy person) said that it means that i am a softy, too soft for this world. This was years ago, and i still know that i was stupid to pay her... so...

does Mars in Pisces... does that mean that i am soft or not a fighter. It does seem a contradiction , as far as i k, Mars is a god of war and Pisces is peace,

no wonder I am confused...

It could indicate that you are not the most confrontational and agressive type of person. Mars is not at home in Pisces, but I know a lot of people with Mars in Pisces, in fact my other half has this placement.

I wouldn't say this makes you too soft for this world at all, after all yuo have saturn in house 1 , Actually Mars in Pisces can make people a bit sneaky and manipulative reather than going after things in a direct fashion - but this approach to getting what you want can be quite affective at times, so it's probably not a bad thing, but yeh, it is quite a soft sign for a Mars placement.

Don't worry man, everyone has a softer side, I actually am a Pisces, so just think, I must be a right softy at times

Oh hey, This is cool. I am interested in astrology too. I have studied it for 3 to 4 years now and I still can't figure out how to correctly interpret it.

See, nothing wrong with having a softer side

Maybe we could post books that we have enjoyed on the subject or other sites with good articles?

There are free online books on this site here http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astro...ooks/index.php

I really like the you tube lessons that David Cammegh does, he is also entertaining and funny http://davidcammegh.com/

This page is pretty good http://davidcammegh.com/star_signs_125.html

I have Mars in Pisces too and I doubt you'd find one person who'd call me soft. I think it's more like we pick and choose our battles and don't sweat the small stuff.

Actually, I know someone with Mars in Pisces who has one hell of a temper, my sons father - he actually goes purple and starts shaking when he loses it. Aries sun too.

People always think of Pisces as being sweet and gentle, but remember, sharks are fishes too!

Well you are very welcome When I had my chart read long ago, I heard the soft thing too, made absolutely no sense to me, so I basically made up my own theory and how it related to me.

Doh - sorry

I have just seen that, and I will have a bit more of a think about that as the eclipse in Cancer will be in a trine with Uranus. As a trine is a nicely flowing angle I feel this is a good influence, but I will have to ponder how that fits in with the Saturn Uranus opposition that is also going on.

As the eclipse is taking place in Asia it may affect that part of the world more, the Uranian influence could cause some sort of surprise. But as Uranus is in Pisces and the Eclipse is in Cancer these are complimentary energies and I feel that if there are any massive shocks they will ultimately be to the benefit of mankind - even if this is not at first apparent.

Eclipses can shake things up and I seem to remember there being a spate of eclipses in 2007 which was a very strange time for me at least.

What do you think about all of this? People with planets and points in Cardinal signs such as Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn will most likely be affected in some profound way.

I've dabbled in astrology for years, but no where near your level of expertise. I tend to use it in conjunction with my intuition. On the 6th I started feeling this buzz of energy/anxiety and wondered what was going on, so I look to the calender and I'm like "oh yeah, full moon eclipse." Then I read up again on the 3 series eclipse that we were in the full swing of. But considering the level of energy I had over it, I think quite a transformation could take place.

And you brought up the Uranian influence, I always see Uranus as a jolt of lightening, so however that manifests itself, I'm not sure. Got to wait and see as usual, lol.

I just had a thought that along side the eclipse, the fact that Saturn represents authority, structures and organisations and Uranus is as you say a jolt of lightening that we could possible see some sort of change in governemt in the areas affected by the eclipse.

I have mars in leo, that would explain why I am so lazy with regards to physical exercise, but once I get going, I do enjoy it.

I do take an interest in astrology also, been an avid fan since early childhood, am now 44, it's such a great indicator of personality traits and it is a useful tool to try to help you understand people.

I am a scorp.

Maybe, but with Mars in a fixed sign like Leo you should have a lot of stamina.

Haev you noticed that there seem to be a lot of Scorpios on the forum?

u_s, I've always had a fascination with Chiron, which I have conjunt (within 6 degrees) my sun in my 12th house. What are your thoughts about this asteroid?

Not surprising, with our suspicious minds !
