Default Crafty Mars

The maker of Mars and Snickers has shrunk the size of the bestselling chocolate bars in what amounts to an under the counter price rise.

While the bars have been reduced by 7.2 per cent from 62.5g to 58g, their prices have remained the same.

When challenged, Mars UK initially claimed the switch to smaller sizes was designed to help tackle the nation’s obesity crisis.

Strangely, this altruistic move was never advertised – an unprecedented step for a multi-national company carrying out what it claims is a major public health initiative.

90% of a litre of petrol for the price of 100% new deal from shell save the planet and all that.
90% of your home owned for 100% mortgage paid save the banks and all that.
90% of your litre of whisky is yours, 10% held back to save the chilean bark lemur
90% of a loaf of bread received for price of a loaf, save more wheat for bio fuels. MORE FUEL LESS FOOD! WHEN DO WE WANT IT? (never but that's not important right now)
90% of typespace allowe

McDonalds in Australia kept doing this to their burgers, ever so slightly over the last decade.

Now the big mac is a cheeseburger.

That shit is really now a rip off, one would need three burgers to eat. Value meal my *#&@ ass.

Fuck em, and fuck Mars and Snickers with their sugary crap full of palm oil, there is real chocolate out there if one knows where to find it.

This is not unusual, in fact its the norm. The big supermarkets do it all the time.

Morrisons were selling these pink iced buns filled with crem and a cherry - very nice
They were being sold at £1.09 I think and they were a good size, perhaps 6inches. They then reduced the size of the bun by about 2inches and reduced the price to £0.59
Theyve recently changed the price back to £1.09 (perhaps a little more) yet they've kept the bun small. Bastards.

I small example but an example nevertheless. Theyre all at it.

Has anyone noticed that a lot of lager is now 275ml bottles, instead of the old 300ml and 330ml sizes too?

Also ,Ownoiz, the best burgers I ever had were from the ferry cafes at Circular Quay, Sydney.

its like very disturbing that its the norm to squuueze as much as possible from the consumer because a large portion of people who produce these kind of products seem to think its supposed to be this way.

Isn't that to promote sharing and generally loving one another?

The CEO of Mars Inc. should be Prime Minister.
