Unhappy BBC fined £150,000 over Sachs row

Source BBC | Link

Ofcom has fined the BBC £150,000 over the lewd phone calls Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand made to actor Andrew Sachs on Radio 2 last year.

The media regulator said the fine reflected "the extraordinary nature and seriousness of the BBC's failures" and the "resulting breaches" of its code.

So, let me get this right, one government department has fined another government department £150k.

And guess who foots that bill

This whole thing was contrived. It is a fake non story. The thing was put in place to get the female producer of Radio 4 the sack. Her enemy is no doubt Mr Dick ......
