Tabloids doing their part to bring about rage

The 'Summer of Rage' is coming and the tabloids are doing their part to whip up rage in the sheeple.

A dozen muslims turn up protesting the homecoming parade of troops and this is what they plaster on the front pages.

Yes I saw this at the shops yesterday.

Its something that really gets to me. The people in the services have been dressed up like 'heroes'. 'saviours', knights in shining armour' which we should respect (???) The people who own these newspapers know the truth of the matter, they are indeed very sick! Service people arent 'defenders of their nation' but simply sacrificial victims, expendable, worthless, and so many DO join up for reasons they think are right.

Where were the everyday people?, why just muslems? Surely there must be others out there who can see through all the bollocks?

I certainly wouldnt be happy if returning soldiers were parading through my town. We may as well all be glorifying war!

Hi 1971,i got a simular response from these here in door's when i spoke out last night,i told them it was to whip us all into a frenzy so we'd riot.
And that it was glorifying an illegal war, i think the protest was staged .

I don't believe it's those soldiers who should be the subject of that hate - those people should be making their feelings known to the politicians who sent the soldiers to do the dirty work.

I expect most men join the forces because they feel they will be required to defend their country.

They should not be paraded through the streets like this anyway - it's all been a filthy, deliberate incitement.

It makes me laugh how the tabloids will go to town if someone uses minor politically incorrect phrase or word, as was the case with the now St Jade (you have to get a terminal illness to be forgiven for such an offense). Yet on other days the tabloids are happy to do their bit to stir up hatred.

Bloody hypocrites. No wonder the country is going down the toilet with so many people buying and reading such rubbish.

omg i hadnt seen these headllines...notice how its just one picture of the same group? all of about 12 people...lol...oh and i dare say those people have family out in Basra and the likes as my OH has, who have been butchered and murdered infront of their childrens very eyes and they are expected to welcome home the murderers who did it? LOL!!! my sides are splitting!!

'Our Heroes'? Im ashamed of the lot of them....No hero of mine. Why are they heroes? Is Iraq invading the UK? are they protecting us? NO!!! So why are they 'our heroes'?

I did think that one of the ways they would try to exploit people's growing anger would be to stir up racial tensions.

It's not the only divide-and-rule tactic they'll try though. Looks like sectarianism is back on the cards in Northern Ireland

and no doubt the greenies will be up to something stupid again soon.

hi Nemesis, I was just about to mention that. I read through the thread to see if its been said. In town today I saw the picture close-up with all the placards so neatly made and with the same style on all of them. I mentioned it to my friend to come have a look.

Its a dead give-away!

There is anti war and anti war, the fellow who calls himself Anjem Chaudhary is one of the most obnoxious racists about, he is designed to whip up anti Muslim sentiment. Personally I would say he and his "friends" are in the pockets of the government, same contolled opposition as the BNP. Those who are the hangers on are just easily led thickos who are unaware of the problems they are causing to their own communities.
