David Icke Sampler Pack

What do you guys think about this idea. What if the guys from the Icke office put together a sample DVD with excerpts from different productions edited together that people could purchase for relatively cheap, with the intention that the DVD be copied and given out to as many people as possible?

It could include an interactive part, so that you can stick it in your computer and read info like website links, additional info, other researchers or like minds etc...

I think this would be a terrific idea. And I think it would definetly result in more interest if people didn't have to buy the whole DVD or book to hear about this stuff. And when someone recieves a free DVD they are more likely to have a look at it.

If you fellow ickists agree that this would be a good idea, maybe we should press it to the Icke office and see what they think....

Also, an after thought. It may sound a bit merchandisy at first, but if David's shop sold T-shirts that had very simple truths on them, I would buy them.

Say, a shirt that just had "Infinite Love is the only Truth, Everything Else is Illusion" on it. Or just "9'11 was an inside job", or "The Illuminati DO exist" and then some images to back it up or something.

I thought maybe you could have a controversial (five sense related) statement on the front of the shirt and then a profound, spiritual statement on the back. Like the identification of the prison on the front and the answer to escaping it on the back.

Good idea? Or cheap shot?

I know I would snap them up. Represent everywhere I go. At least just a "David Icke.com" shirt. I mean for christs sake, we have a million people waling around with "Coca-Cola" on their shirts, why not an ad for something beneficial? It could say something like "Free your mind" or "Unchain your heart" and then the davidicke.com on the back.....

I think it's a brilliant idea, and I would buy David merchandise if I know it's going directly to David. The only thing is someone would have to design them and so on. I would jump at the opportunity, if asked, to design "David approved" merchandise for his store. It's just a matter of people having time and setting it up.

I know that David and his staff are very busy so, the DVD thing might be a good plan for down the road sometime.

I think the sampler dvd is a great idea too & a sure way of getting more people aware of all this stuff Also agree with Tin about the t-shirt thing too... if they were 100% approved by DI & you know that anything made on it would be going directly his way, then I'd definitely be up for purchasing some!!

I'll speak to JP tomorrow about it all as he's still having internet connection probs so won't get to see this thread. Will let you know what he says on it later...

Its a great idea, but the sample DVD could have other stuff on like a few mins of alex jones, that bloke silverstien saying he pulled em, some of this aspartame video (sweet misery- a poisoned world) just other must see video snippets, (pending corywrite permission ofcourse).
and as for the T-shirts id rather have a jacket or hoody, or just sell the transfers and bumper stickers, make people think when there stuck behind you in a jam.
i dont think they will jump at the DVDs cos other forms of marketing are cheaper but i bet they wouldnt say no if you put together a sample for them to see before you sent em to everyone. infact ill have a look what vid editors i can get for ubuntu and buy a pack of dvds someone needs to get the ball rolling

Totally. David Icke's work is one of the very few things I would encourage and support advertisement of. I realize we don't want to end up looking like bible pushers or scientologists or something but I think it's worth that risk. A bumper sticker that had the Infinite truth quote on it would be well wicked.

But I definetly think the best would be the sampler DVD. If I hadn't heard of any of this stuff before and someone handed me a free DVD with information about lots of strange and unfamiliar topics like UFO's and the Illuminati I would watch it for sure! And then, on the DVD, at the end say, it could mention that the purpose of this particular production is to copy and share it with others, it could end up spreading like wild fire.

It wouldn't have to be anything fancy at all. Just a few selected topics from various existing productions, just enough to give people the jist of David's angle.
I would probably convieniantly leave out some of the more shocking aspects at this point in peoples exposure to such things such as the reptilian agenda, the satanism\blood-drinking stuff. I would put mostly his Matrix orientated stuff and Illuminati\NWO stuff. Then some mentions of other like minded researchers and the DVD could contain both DVD viewable data and CD-ROM viewable data so that it could include website information, web links to other sites perhaps some documentaion or free e-book material. And make it clear that it is information that is designed to be copied and shared. I dunno, I can visualize something like this being highly useful IMO.

I would buy a copy straight away. Then get say a pack of 50 DVD's. Copy the DVD to these, maybe even with a small document typed by myself explaing my motives and thoughts on what I'm doing to give the person some idea of where I'm coming from. And then send them and give them everyone. Spare no-one! When I go to music festivals I'd print up a load and jkust give them out to random punters. Maybe while wearing an Infinite love T-shirt!

Hey Barbitone, I think your on the right track here although I've tried doing this myself in the past.. When I first woke up to this information I felt like it was my mission to inform the whole world, like I was the new messiah or something. I made copies of DVD's to hand out, emailed websites and information to everyone I knew, I was on a mission and you now what, no one gives a shit, you cannot wake people up that are not ready to wake up, you can put the most compelling evidence right in front of their eyes and it is as if they are blind.

If you try to force this information on people that are not ready they will become hostile towards you, that is my experience they will fight to protect the matrix, it's very tricky business.

I'm not trying to put a downer on your idea, because I believe it's a wonderful idea. Just be careful who you share the information with and especially don't be pushy about it with your friends and family.

Having said that put me down for twenty copies..

Totally agree dude, but for every 50 zombies there's gotta be at least one person that may just need something like this to tip their consciousness scales or at least let them know that other people have these thoughts or to just let them know that there are other interpretations of life and the world around us.

I know handing them out in the streets and in extremely public places would probably hail some bad reaction, but if you go to rave parties or festivals or places and meetings that have people attending that are on that fringe area, people that you know are fairly neutral, that is, they're not scientologists or fundermentalist christians\muslims or far righter or lefters or anything like that. You just have to some what strategic I think.

I've already asked the DI admin if I could have permission to do something like this myself but no reply as of yet.

What I'd really like to do is somehow get them distributed around high schools. I know it's a bit like playing their game but stuff it. I wish somebody had of done it for me! Just find someone who goes to high school and get them to give them out or something......there''s got to be something like this that's possible to do, doesn't cost much, and only increases peoples information options. Bugger it, I might just have to do it anyway, true rebel stylez. I bet there would be heaps of high-schools ready for this information these days. Of course there would be much the opposite also. People just making fun of it etc, but it might spark debates and thoughts about these bigger issues which would be very beneficial. As long as people are questioning and thinking deep about things, not taking them at face value.....

Wow, what a great idea with the sampler DVD. This would also be a great marketing tool as it would be something that would draw peoples attention to David's work. It's a simple idea that would also boost sales of David's material as well as waking people up at the same time.

Having had experience in running a direct marketing company, I can truly say that this idea has enormous potential. Congratulations for coming up with such a simple, and at the same time, absolutely brillant idea.

So, anyone at HQ reading this, the ball has been passed to you with this idea. This could be a simple 10-15 minute presentation, an introduction to David's work, with links and promotional material. Upload it to youtube and wherever possible so that it can be easiy copied and passed around. This is free advertising, think about it. It would also give everyone here an opportunity to be a part of introducing others to David's work and helping in the process of waking the world up.

I've just spoken to JP & he is definitely all for the idea

He said he would like to see suggestions from people as to what exactly to place onto the dvd (what specific topics/links/websites to be advertised etc) & then he'd look into compiling it all & getting it produced (think that may be yet another job for poor Sean's to-do-list, bless!) But definitely will happen from the sounds of it!! So keep the ideas coming guys... cool stuff!!

He's also onto the idea of t-shirts too, but he will be making a thread about it as soon as his internet gets sorted...

I've been wanting to distribute stuff like this for a long time. It'd be really great if this sampler dvd thing worked out. It's way too hard to reach some people if you ask them to read a whole book or watch full length dvd, at most they'll take a quick look or read a couple pages and walk away thinking they understand what it's all about.

I think how the DVD is organized would be extremely important. A big turn off for people would be the confusion of all these bits and pieces at once. A concise introduction explaining what it's all about as if talking to someone who has absolutely no clue at all would be very important. And as was stated earlier, it would be wise to steer away from the more "out there" (as some would call it) things. If you stick that stuff in people's face right off there's a good chance they'll just reject everything. Start easy and work your way up.

I can think of alot of good ways to distribute these. My favourite is to just leave one laying around somewhere like a bathroom stall. Put it in a packet and write a label on it. Something like "Only for the open minded".

Can you imagine that? You're sitting on the pot doing your bussiness and you notice a mysterious white envelope next to you with an ambiguous title prompting you to look further only if you are willing to recieve. Then you take it home, pop it in, and are exposed to all this stuff.

I think that would be a hell of alot more effective than just handing them out.

I think the cover should just say ''THE TRUTH'' (and maybe some instructions on what format it is and how to play it.

but they used to run full page adverts that would just be a blank coloured page with a small website address at the bottom, poeple would be intrigued cos its out of the ordinary.
