Boycotts do work.

One of Pat Condell's videos got banned from YouTube after it was flagged and it caused a massive reaction. Hundreds of people re-uploaded his video, ensuring that many thousands more people saw it than if they'd left it alone and lots of people wrote to Google threatening to boycott YouTube and all Google products.

It worked. Google backed down within hours and reinstated Condell's video.

It's VERY important that we boycott Youtube on Frioday ON MASS and make the boycott into an event IF POSSIBLE. That will get even MORE people wondering what the boycott is about and THEN they will get the seeds planted.

I have known for quite a while now that they have been fiddling the viewing figures and people like Darren Pollard (Dondaz), Alex Jones and David Icke have been effected by this. As far as I'm aware they removed all NuffRespects videos and that is why the boycott is happening.

If a mass boycott happens and it becomes very obvious to the general YouTube user (through people posting videos mentioning the boycott maybe and word of mouth too, a bit like a facebook meetup), then it YouTube's brand is gonna start to look very suspect to people in general. A boycott, no matter what it's about, can damage a reputation. YouTube is a brand albeit a very dodgy one.

Yes i'm glad somebody is seeing this in a positive way, boycotting things does make a difference, Youtube means YOUTUBE not THEMTUBE which it will eventually become if we don't stand together.

I'm quite fair that Youtube would be happy to get rid of the Alex Joneses. Not based on a conspiracy but because of the ridiculous claims. They don't rig counters, and so what if they did. It's pointless, and Jones knows this, when he logs into his Youtube admin he sees the real counter stats, so he is lying to you.

'Nufffrespect' had numerous honours removed and his stats were messed with big time. Only after numerous people complained did the honours return. They've always messed with Jones' figures in the past. Endgame had over a million views on Google Video once and suddenly fell out of the top 10, with it's views dropping significantly.

Why do you think they've partnered with the ADL and implented a revised Abuse & Safety Center? They're trying to remove content and censor the site heavily, at the request of the corporate behemoth Google.

The stats are NOT real time.

It probably was a lot more than a million. That's a conservative estimate on my part. It was certainly in the top 10.

It's irrelevant if they're real time. If stats are getting cut down, something is going on. As I stated, Nufffrespect has had his stats cut drastically and his honours removed. Only when a number of people complained did YouTube do anything about it.
