I notice that India's Star News has a broken pentagram as it's logo:

Masonic writer Manly P. Hall writes, in connection with the broken pentagram that, in black magic, the pentagram may be broken at one point by not permitting the converging lines to touch:

"The pentagram is used extensively in black magic, but when so used its form always differs in one of three ways: The star may be broken at one point by not permitting the converging lines to touch; it may be inverted by having one point down and two up; or it may be distorted by having the points of varying lengths. Who? I only came across this logo because Sky News is showing Star News TV to show what's going on in India with this evening's terrorist attacks, with it's broken pentagram logo in the corner of the screen.
