I am mad as hell about this abuse of authority. If my daughter was attending that school. I would enlist all parents whose daughters are attending & start a class action lawsuit against the school, the nurse, the government, pharmaceutical company. Hire the brightest pitbull of a lawyer you can find. Sue the bastards into oblivion. Remember the lawsuits against the Catholic church......it works. But you gotta get all parents on board, possibly include parents from other schools also. This should definitely not go unpunished. Take back your power as parents please, before they do something else to your children. One child violated is all our children. So all parents must come together in solidarity. Ok enough rant.....I'm mad.

I've just done a search and it seems there are no further updates to this story as yet, but Debbie Jones (the mother of the girl they 'jabbed') will need some back-up support, even if its only moral support with all this, so I was wondering if there is anything we can do as a forum to show her our support with whatever legal action she goes ahead with?

This deliberate violation of human rights effects us all, and they just cannot be allowed to get away with what they did to that girl against her mother's wishes.

I'm not a parent, but it seems like this is an opportune time for parents to discuss this issue with their school-age children.

I'm sure you will all best know how to work out a "game plan" to prepare for such occasions with children of different ages, given their ability to understand the issues.

Also, I'm not blaming the girl, but I would assume that the arm was swiped with a cotton ball and alcohol or whatever, pre-jab. She was not simply jabbed without preparation, I cannot imagine!!

Maybe it would be a good idea to discuss with children how not to let things get that far, if at all! Children may be "afraid" to interfere and to speak up to authority figures, but they need to know that it's perfectly okay to speak up and say that their parents do not give their consent and that they do not give their consent.

Perhaps parents should draft a letter to their chidrens' schools, directing not to administer any vaccines/ innoculations, etc. to their child. This letter should be countersigned by the headmaster/principal, whatever., and the parent, school, school nurse, whoever's an interested party - - should have copies of this letter. Perhaps such a letter could be written by someone here with a legalistic mind, who knows how to cover the bases. This could be given as a template to parents; spread the word on individual websites.

HPV vaccination and the coercion of our 13 year old diabetic daughter

We are a bit shaken up over the HPV Vaccination, sometimes called the HPV Jab. It supposedly immunises young women against sexually transmitted disease that can lead to genital warts and cervical cancer but is not yet proven. However, for a number of reasons, my wife and I "opted out" by checking the 'No' box on the consent form, and our 13 year old daughter also decided NOT to get the jab. We figured with both parents and daughter against the idea, the jabbing would pass us by. But then she went to school and some anonymous doctor jabbed her anyway.

We have no overt moral or spiritual issue with the immunization itself and, along with the FRC, we don't believe that the HPV immunisation necessarily leads to promiscuity. We do, however, have a problem with mandatory or coerced vaccination against the will of the child or the parents. But we were told we could "opt out" so we didn't give it much thought.

On the day, our 13 year old daughter, who by the way has Type-1 Diabetes, was taken aside from the other girls and told by the doctor that she was the only girl in her year who had handed in a consent form with a cross in the 'No' box. As they started to talk, and without being asked if she wanted it, the doctor jabbed her.



We have serious issues with this relatively untested and unproven drug Cervarix. Finding answers to basic questions like "How will it affect our Type-1 diabetic pre-adolescent daughter?" has proven impossible for us and I can only assume, unless the one of the 158 pre-adolescent [10-14 year] test candidates had Type-1 diabetes, that our daughter is now the gullible guinea pig who will test this product for the much larger international market.

On the internet we call that "beta testing", although we are talking about our daughter, not a new web application.

"Coerced vaccination is not justified because there is no public health emergency. Similarly, forcing an intervention over an adolescent's objections is not justified because it fails to respect the adolescent as a maturing individual." BMJ (British Medical Journal)

We shared our story with a social worker and he suggested reporting it to the police as a case of abuse. We went over to our school today to discuss it with them. The head teacher was shocked and apologetic and offered to talk to the NHS. Obviously the school is not to blame and has been kept in the dark.

The BMJ suggested that "the most controversial situation is when an adolescent seeks the vaccine without parental permission." But even more controversial is what happened to our child in Scotland, when the vaccination was given AGAINST the written permission of both the parents AND against the will of the adolescent, or in this case, the pre-adolescent.

Opting Out
The Government says that the vaccine will be offered to all girls in the selected age range but that parents will be given the opportunity to "opt out" if they do not want their child to receive the jabs. "It will be voluntary" the Telegraph reports, and yet the paragraph following states that "non-compliance" could undermine the project.

I guess we were "non-compliant"
but I like to think of it as "pro-choice".

I was thinking that maybe we could have prevented the abuse of our daughter by not sending in the consent form at all. But then we chatted with one of our kid's friends who also got jabbed, despite her not wanting it and despite her father refusing to sing the consent form. I guess we are not the only ones.

Can We Really Opt Out? The brochure given to the 12-13 year olds called "Arm Against Cervical Cancer" [download as PDF] promises that parents can "opt out". It reads:
"You may be given a consent form that your parents should sign giving permission for you to have the vaccination. It’s important that you return the signed form before your vaccination is due. If your parents are not sure that you should have the vaccination you should still return the form and speak to your nurse, doctor or other healthcare professional. Having the vaccination now will help protect you against the most common causes of cervical cancer for many years."

What does that mean, anyway? If your parents say 'No', then you should speak to the medical professionals to get a second opinion? Sounds like we were outranked by someone with a stethoscope around their neck!
But surely its illegal, even in this country, to ignore the parents consent when the 'young woman' involved has only just turned 13 years old?

So, from our experience with the first jab, this is how it looks to me:
- If your daughter refuses the vaccination, she is young and incapable of making the right decision so JAB HER ANYWAY. [So says Dr Frank on Yahoo Answers]
- If your parents refuse to permit the vaccination, they are old and too stupid to make the right decision so JAB HER ANYWAY.
- If both daughter and parents refuse the vaccination, JAB HER ANYWAY and hope that no one says anything.

Any way you look at it, our daughters are going to get jabbed unless they have the gumption to stand up for their right to choose for themselves. Or someone else stands up for them. Or we keep them out of school on the jabbing day.

Side Effects?
The brochure suggests the side effects are " quite mild – usually just stinging and soreness in the arm that soon wears off. Hundreds of thousands of young women in the USA and other countries have already had their vaccinations. Studies have shown that the vaccination is very safe." But what the brochure doesnt tell you about those young women in the USA is that over 20 died and thousands of others now have serious permanent injuries.

After the jab, our daughter and 2 friends had immediate side effects, including a hot and cold flashes and dizziness, but they was told it was in their minds. Headaches have continued almost daily since the jab and a few days ago she had a very serious seizure during the night. We were just glad she was sleeping in our bed. She slept in our bed last night also, just in case another seizure happened, and she will probably sleep in our bed again tonight. And we dont really know if the seizure or headaches are related to the jab or rather to her diabetes. But we are still worried and information is scarce.

My advice?
1. Do Your Own Research!
2. Find information websites that allow comments and stories of real people who are not paid to say only positive things about HPV vaccinations.
3. If you don't want your daughter jabbed, or if she doesnt want to get jabbed, don't send her to school on the day of jabbing because the permission form might not be worth the paper it is written on.
4. Make a copy of your consent form before your daughter hands it in and it disappears into space.
5. If your story is similar to ours, tell someone.

This is one case and the girl in question was not enrolled onto it (luckily she will escape the two further jabs) but what about the 70%+ that were done with full co-operation of the parents surely this is much more of concern.

We are fighting a battle on a daily basis now and still the majority go along with the propaganda and seem to be immune to the risks to their future childrens health...If I had a daughter that age I would be appalled at the idea as I was when they suggested the MMR jabs to my children....

so update:

the story ran in at least 4 sunday papers last weekend. Front page on this one link

we met with people from the health board yesterday and the complaints person. They hope to have their investigation completed this week and a statement to be issued soon.

Apparently, we were told yesterday, the law is not clear, and is it may be different than England, but it seems that parental consent can be ignored even for a 13 year old in Scotland, if they wish it.

Of course, our daughter did not knowingly consent so our case is a bit different. But it will be interesting to see how this comes out.

Still, "it will be INTERESTING to see how this comes out"??!!!! What a bizarre comment. It's his daughter's LIFE, her health. I think it would be more than interesting, but maybe this guy is just downplaying his concern?!!!

In any case, I hope that he has taken his daughter to the doctor. The headache/ seizure bit (discussed above) does not sound good.

(among many things) ive had medication wich noone told me what was. i did find out eventually and stopped. but you know.. i firmly believe doctors are brainwashed to do what ever the papers tell them to.

Health board launches investigations after mother's complaint

A SCOTTISH HEALTH board has launched an investigation after a 13-year-old schoolgirl was given the cervical cancer vaccine despite the doctor being aware her parents had withheld consent.

The girl's parents had decided to delay immunisation against the human papilloma virus (HPV) because their daughter, Abigail, is diabetic.

Although they had agreed to other vaccines in the past - including MMR, polio and TB - they felt there was not yet sufficient evidence of the safety of the cervical cancer vaccine on people with chronic illnesses. Since the virus is transmitted via sexual activity, they believed there was no pressing need to vaccinate their daughter at 13.

The girl's mother, Debbie Jones, told the Sunday Herald: "It's not as though I think the vaccination is a horrible thing, but I just figure what's the harm in a bit of extra time? We don't need to vaccinate her yet. So I thought, let's just leave it for now and we can make up our minds about it later."

However, during the first round of the three-step vaccination programme at Stromness Academy in Orkney last month, Abigail - along with other classmates whose parents had consented to the jab - was taken from class to join the line-up of those being inoculated. While the other girls were treated by the nurse, Abigail was taken aside by the doctor, who asked her if she knew that she was the only girl whose parents had withheld consent. After a brief conversation she was given the vaccine.

Jones said: "When Abigail told me what happened, I asked her, Did you really want it done?' and she said, No'. And I asked her if she had said that she didn't want it done, and she said that the doctor didn't really ask her if she wanted it done, that she didn't get the opportunity to say yes or no.

"Part of me thinks, why is it being done in schools when they don't seem to have much control over the programme?

"I'm sure the doctor was only concerned about the best and really believes in the vaccine. My daughter's not terribly assertive, she doesn't like to rock the boat. She's fun and she's happy, but she basically submits to authority."

Jones contacted NHS Orkney on Thursday to express her concern. The health board confirmed to the Sunday Herald that it had received a complaint from a member of the public and was launching an inquiry to find out what went wrong.

The board said: "We take this complaint extremely seriously and will be investigating further as a matter of urgency.

"If there are lessons to be learned from the investigation they will be incorporated into the vaccination programme in Orkney. The health of young people in Orkney is of paramount importance to NHS Orkney."

The incident highlights some of the potential pitfalls in using external medical staff to carry out the inoculations, standard practice in vaccination programmes. The person administering the vaccine was not aware of Abigail's medical history. Although her parents are reluctant to make a direct link, within 10 days of receiving the jab Abigail suffered only her second seizure since being diagnosed with diabetes six years ago. Her blood sugar levels were normal at the time.

The incident also raises questions around the issue of consent. While parents are asked to complete consent forms if their daughter is under 16, a girl below that age is entitled to request to have the vaccine even if her parents declined it.

A spokeswoman for the General Medical Council said the issue must be resolved on a case-by-case basis: "It is not a matter of once they reach 16 they are capable of giving consent and if they are not, they can't.

"If a girl under 16 wanted the vaccine, even though her parents had not given their consent, the doctor would not be acting inappropriately if they administered it, having first explained the potential outcomes of whatever path of treatment they choose, whether that's to accept or refuse it."

GMC guidelines state: "When treating children and young people, doctors must also consider parents and people close to them, but their patient must be the doctor's first concern Children and young people are individuals with rights that should be respected. This means listening to them and taking into account what they have to say about things that affect them. It also means respecting their decisions and confidentiality."

The Scottish Government launched the national immunisation programme against HPV in schools last month, targeting girls in the 12-13 age group. Older girls will be treated as part of a later "catch-up" initiative. The HPV virus is transmitted via sexual contact so it was deemed the most "cost-effective" strategy to vaccinate before the majority will become sexually active, and in a school environment where the optimum number could be treated.

However, Jackie Fletcher of JABS, a support group for parents who believe their children have been adversely affected by vaccines, expressed misgivings about the setting.

"This is something which should be taken out of the school situation because, firstly, are the right questions being asked of the girls and will they own up to whatever they need to own up to if they're in a queue of other girls? So it's not like a measles or a polio jab, because there are sexual behaviour activities which need to be discussed."

A statement on behalf of the Scottish Government said the leaflet distributed to schoolgirls "clearly states that it is every person's right to opt out of having the vaccine, if they wish to do so".

In other words, they will TALK your child INTO IT if they CAN. Can your child stand up to the "logical" arguments and persuasive tactics of authority figures? Peer pressure will be used to gain traction.

no it wont ! coz i will be there .

i will make it clear to the nurse my self / the head / all the teachers as well !
law states i am the legalk guardian of my kids until 18 years old !

until then
i make those desisions .
when these vaccines come this way

i my self will visit school and make that clear by verbal comunications and writing !
i will also make it clear what the conciquences could be if they ignore my wishes .
i will also inform my child to come straight home if they try it on .

you should seek consulation with police and lawyers asap to get the issue sorted. so that IF they do illegal things they can at least be punished. if its not illegal, then your stuck with nothing.

I remember reading in the news about a year ago that they were forcing parents to have there young children vaccinated with the MMR jab at gunpoint. I can also remember telling
my friend it would be the same over here soon and here we are.....

A few points to raise , firstly this girl is over 12yrs old which means she or her mother would have needed to give written consent for this to take place.
I was told the ins and outs of this kind of thing not long ago when the powers that be were putting immense pressure upon my son to have bloodtests to check for diabetes.
The problem however is that he is needle phobic and no matter what tactic I tried , their was no way he was having bloods taken. The paediatrician told me that despite the implications of him not being tested their really wasnt a lot she could do if he didnt want to have it done, as he was 12yrs old.




Please take note the the UK government have not signed up to Article 1 or 13 which then makes the rest of the Human Rights Act invalid. This why the Government can get away with what they are doing to each and every one of us.

Then the state will own your children and their lives. I really see this situation as a serious wake up call to all parents/grandparents and educators.

This thread put me on a low all day yesterday, especially since I had read a link where parents had recorded the dreadful effects of this immunisation. Form a so-called 'mild' effect as hair loss....imagine a teen girl losing her hair! At one stage I wouldnt leave home without eyeliner and that was way before all this 'looks are everything' attitude really took off! Lets not forget that it has KILLED several people!

I went to Morrisons in the afternoon where they had an advert over the tannoy for anyone over 18 to come and get their 'free flu jab' at their own pharmacy!

The problem is people arent informed about these vaccinations, hence the fact that the girl involved was the only one in her year to opt out.

This is why it is so very important to spread the news, to DO something! I can no longer play the game of 'Im alright Jack' and to just keep my own family safe.

Has anyone found any flyers about this to hand out......hoping it isnt too late!

There is more though, the amount of TODDLERS I see drinking aspartame laden drinks really breaks my heart, how the fuck are we meant to stay positive through all this? Anyone?

After his first round of jabs including MMR he lost appetite, stopped any interest in books, stopped saying mamma/dadda (this is all on tape by the way so no question about it) and is on the autistic specturm.

Thankfully through good supplements and love/care/support he's doing pretty well at school regardless of the initial setback.

Of course, we said no to round 2...the health visitor didn't really fight us thankfully.
