No. You can protect any equipment if you put it into good Faraday cage but you cannot use such equipment while it is in the cage.

You could (theoretically) build Faraday cage room with generator inside but that's just theory because of it's price.

There is an old adage that goes; The Russians and the Yanks went to the moon, The Americans spent $40.000 trying to make a device that could right in zero gravity. In the end they did it and on take-off it was found to have been left behind on the desk of Euston Control.

The Russians took a pencil and sharpener

I have seen a few sites that can help you in your search, but for the life of me I cant remember the site names. But they are out there if it helps.

I think that anyway, there is no way of knowing the effectiveness of the help. This would lead me to try and work out alternatives where possible.

So first work out what you absolutely need as an electronic device.

Examples;

Generator. Could be hand-cranked to start. As the auto mobile could be. Remember your jenny can power anything, even if the electronics of the device is removed. The reason for most electronics in power tools is purely for speed control. Simple on-off, or have a manual slider control e.g. Dr Frankenstein.
A watch. Could have a winder. And is backed up at home/base with a larger more reliable one.
Small things like CB radio or walkie-talkies. Well for that you are gonna have to trust to the skill of those sites.

Tom.
