Django Unchained & Lincoln released simultaneously

Coincidence or not?

Hollywood always seem to release very similar themed films simultaneously. I'm fully prepared to accept a coincidence but when you consider this happens on a very regular level (see Robin Hood - Prince of Theives v the other version etc) it begs the question...

Why?

TPTB are about to create a civil war which will probably have a strong racial element to it. All the conservative talk radio guys are talking about civil war. They are all hyping it up.

not exactly civil war or that time period movie, but

a remake of red dawn "America under attack by communists" also plays into this modern civil war.

Django and Lincoln... with the whole slave thing plus 'lawless' and 'hadfield and mccoys' all have a similar feeling to them ... war, wild west, gun fire, taking the law into your own hands ..... i did wonder about the connection myself .......also 'zero dark thirty' and 'argo' .... bigging up the us government against terrorists from the east --- all very strange and seemingly inappropriate ???

i have to say django was a total masterpiece of a film though

yeah was just thinking this myself after the other Lincoln vampire hunter with similar plot was out months ago (top 10 downloaded movies on bittorrent chart oct 12 2012 http://torrentfreak.com/top-10-most-...orrent-121015/

marketing pure n simple ,
when close encounters came out it was hot on.the coattails of star wars and when jaws came out it wasn't that long before pirana was out ,

lord of the rings ,harry potter etc
nothing new you only notice the movies out that look.similar not the loads of others un related
what else is released now ?

first one was Shit no doubt this sequel will be one that goes straight to DVD and ends up in a basket at the door in poundland for 50p
