School Shooting In Connecticut, US, Say Police

A shooting at a US elementary school has killed "multiple" victims, according to a local newspaper.

The development was reported by the Hartford Courant, which also said children at the scene of the attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School , in Newtown, Connecticut were among the dead.

The gunman involved in the shooting has also reportedly been killed.

Local media reported there were two shooters, while police reportedly said a gunman was in the main office of the school and that a person in one room had "numerous gunshot wounds".

A dispatcher at the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps said a teacher was shot in the foot and taken to Danbury Hospital.

But State Police are reportedly saying that the school is no longer an "active shooting scene".

Crying pupils were seen being escorted from the school, which has children aged between five and 10 years old.

They are saying up to 6 people killed and more injured.

They are saying more then one shooter, but for some reason you always hear that at the first stages because they have no clue.

The worst of it is that they are say it was a kindergarten class thats really messed up

This is starting to become SO OBVIOUS now. The US Government and media are clearly targeting gun ownership laws in America. Also, if anyone ever needed any proof that mind-control technology is real and being used by the government they just need to open their eye's.

Theres no logical, rational reason for anyone to go on a rampage in a school, there's no political message to be made, there's nothing to be angry at a school about, there's no obvious reason what someone would gain from targeting innocents. This all tells me, if it happens once at a school there's something very wrong but for it to happen as many times as it has happened in America something very suspicious is going on.

The ONLY people who could possibly gain anything from something this tragic and senseless is the people in government who want to shock society into handing over their guns.

I'm starting to think it's about time we all considered these lone gunman as victims too. Rather than condemn them and cry out for their blood, I'm starting to think these so called 'crazy' lone gunman are actually being mind-controlled to carry out these horrific acts of violence on children.

I can just imagine a sick-minded American politician sitting at his desk in his comfy chair thinking 'it's all for the greater good' and honesty believing he is morally justifyed to make these events come to pass. Believing he's a patriot and serving his country.

America should hold onto their guns to the death because that is the ONLY freedom they have left and ANY gun laws is bad for them.

I agree, something has to be done, with so many guns on the streets it causes so much lawlessness. We here in the UK tightened our handgun laws even more after Dunblane and tightened security in schools too, it seems to have worked almost 20 years later.

There has to be some kind of gun control, guns only exist to kill.Poor little girl on the telly just talking about it as if shootings are an every day occurance.I woudl be frightened stiff to live in such a country .

While watching CBS news the anchor says the police is not allowing any media reporters anywhere near the scene.. Meanwhile on CNN,they already interviewed a person who has witnessed the scene inside... LOL ok.
