What can I do?

I hear this all the time. What can we do? What can we do indeed? I'll tell some things for starters. Stop taking part in anything with violence in it. Simply chose not to take part in violence and consider it your first step toward enlightenment. Instead of renting Terminator try passing on that and maybe watching Andy Griffith or the Beverly Hill Billies, Green Acres or a host of other non violent film choices. If the music you listen to is violent shut it off. Further stop buying it and all else with violence of any kind in it and see if you can maybe instill the same behavior in your kids. Here is a thought! Next time you see your kids or your husband playing a video game where they are blowing each other to kingdom come shut it off! Just walk away from the violence. Instead of renting the UFC rent a comedy.

Those in the know realize its by our own mass society leanings toward violence in all these things and more that leads to it manifesting itself in our daily lives. Universe hears us asking for more and more and so that is what we get. When we react by demanding more 'good murder investigative shows in daytime' and more blood in our fights, bigger badder bombs in our arsenals and computer games designed to desensitize our youth we need to look at what we have done, and discover why the reality we see is before us.

We live in a society that not only endorses but promotes violence making huge profits of it aside from that which has been involved with plunderings of War. It is time we wake up to this fact and realize what that action and intention (law of attraction indeed) means when the most popular movies are violent and bloody, the most popular games are violent and bloody, the headlines of the daily news are all about violence and blood usually as one of the governments of the world is misbehaving again on the world stage but sometimes things like this story in Colorado recently show up as well.

When a society displays such desires through their actions and intentions and that same society digests anything new involving same, such as the embracing of mixed martial arts which is also bloody and violent and yet it is the most popular sport now then it stands to reason we should not have to wonder why people in our society misbehave? Yet people ask why does this happen? Do you want it to stop? Really? I'm not convinced. Your actions and your purchases say otherwise. Prove it to me. Prove to me you can make a difference. Walk away from violence. Stop asking universe for all the violence and further stop taking part in it in all areas of your life and watch the world change! It all starts with one baby step. Try it! You'll like it!

You're right about violent protest but people are far too slow to catch on. If everyone just didn't comply with the system all at the same time then their cause will be won easily without any violence and the authorities wouldn't be able to discredit their cause on national tv

but i agree, isn't it crazy how we allow our kids to watch violence on tv, but god forbid we let them view an intimate love scene???
