Default Massacre at Batman screening in Denver

http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/ne...-16187436.html

Local media sources in Colorado are reporting that 10 people have been killed at the premiere of Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises in the suburbs of Denver.

Brenda Stuart, of 850 KOA Radio, said the victims were shot dead but there may have also been an explosion.

She said police are looking for a second explosive device at the movie theatre.

One suspect has been detained.

As many as 40 people are believed to have been injured in the attack.

Ms Stuart said: "The shooting started during the midnight showing at the theatre. Many people thought it was part of the movie before panic set in.

"Police are taking people to hospital in their own cars, not waiting for ambulances to arrive. There were chaotic scenes as people desperately tried to flee.""

Fox News is reporting that two people were involved in the shooting . After opening fire they set off tear gas in the theatre.

The FBI are on the scene to co-ordinate the hunt for the second man.

The attack happened in Theatre 9 at the movie complex which was sold out for the screening.

The preview trailers had just finished when the gunmen opened fire.

Local reporter Justin Jones said the gunmen were wearing body armour and gas masks. "One of the attackers shot a baby at point blank range," he said.

I always find those things kinda crazy, who they planned it out and everything, i bet it was there pet project for a while.
Obvisouly it must suck if you lost a loved one but besides that i don't really care.
Regardless i smell a pretext to gun control

A movie industry that glorifies this behaviour, with people who flock to it for entertainment, is hit by it - got to admit there is an irony to that...

Anyways so if i was doing it i would've worn a clown mask like in the last batman movie, or dressed up as the joker or something, just saying.

I don't think making a joke of the situation is really suited to this thread.
