I can't be the only English person who doesn't want the miserable scot to win wimbledon? I think the guy hates England to be fair...I can't get too behind him i'm afraid

Yes Murray isn't too fond of England lol. I remember around the time of the 2006 World Cup he said of the England football team 'I hate the English team, i hope they loose all their matches and go out the first round, I support Scotland' or something along those lines. All the fawning media don't seem to mind though as they cheer on 'our Andy' haha

I'm not a Murray fan either to be honest. I have watched Federer play lots of times and he's much better than Sampras was in his hey day. I would love to see Federer break his Wimbolden record.

I have no interest in most sport as almost all is packed out with players (winning is what matters) rather than gentlemen (how you play is more important) - a situation which best describes modern society.

I loved sports when I was younger but as I've got older I've found the majority of sportsmen/women in the public eye to be pretty unlikeable characters.

He didn't say that all. It was at a press conference when he was younger and the reporters were winding him up about Scotland not being in the tournament and when asked who he wanted to win he laughed and said anyone but England. That's all.

I've just come back from the T in the park festival.

Two days was enough for me..... Saw the Stone Roses, New Order, and the Cribbs but the Scots mentality spoiled it.

They're more or less a totally savage people.

It's like going to a party and finding out it's full of annoying twats.

That's Scotland.

So yeah, not getting into Scotland the Brave vibe right now.

Too many ketamine head piss-wankers and grim witchling-hags north of the border.

Obviously there are exceptions, and I met some good people.

But not many (2 I think).

A poor showing for Scotland.
