Who here has crystals?

Hi guys.
Before I go for a walk followed by a run, I was wondering how many of you guys have crystals. What kind and what purpose have you with them?

I find crystals and gemstones to be fascinating when you explore the science behind them. They can be tuned, the emit frequencies that are benificial to us, memories and data can be stored on them, they are perfectly inline with the structure of the universe and bring order to spiritual chaos.

What are your experiences with them?

I used to have two of them.

Brown pietersite, and some other black one LOL

It was for the purpose of healing, but one thing i learnt from healing crystals. Only wear them, when you need healing, not all the time. Otherwise, the effects can be negative.

My first one was a moonstone in order to try and stimulate my brow chakra. I have yet to get soem quarts. I have a few Amethyst and other main chakra crystal gem things. After having some I can say I have saw some positive improvement in my life. I should recharge them again soon though.

I'm a crystal addict (not crystal meth addict though!) I've got hundreds of crystals- I'm a bit of a hippy I guess.

I've been collecting rocks, minerals, stones, etc since I ws very young...so have no idea what the first one was that drew me into collecting. But by my mid-teens in the 80s when I got all new age-y, my interest in them changed from just collecting nice unusual stones and rocks into full on crystal hippydom.

Our house is full of them, along with all manner of 'ordinary' stones that we've just picked up on days out in woods or on beaches, and I mean hundreds of stones.

My favorite crystals in my collection are a gorgeous polished pink Kunzite, the most amazing golden sheen obsidian sphere (which looks like it has a satellite picture of a hurricane on it), a beautiful green serpentine carved into an egg shape, from Peru...I could go on and on.

I also make jewellery and only use genuine gemstones, so I have thousands of beads in all kinds of crystals and stones in my bedroom.

Had too many experiences to mention, it would get boring and irrelevant for everyone, but I have used crystals as an aid to meditation, and while I realise that I don't need them for that purpose, it does help to have something as a focus for quietening down the mental chatter.

I will say, though, I did have an experience with a piece of black moonstone, which was amazing. To cut an incredibly long story short, while meditating with it on my body, I tapped into all kinds of information from a group of people who lived thousands of years ago, that has altered my path in life in a very benificial way, this info was verified as being true through several synchronicities over the following few weeks. The info they gave me through the meditation and moonstone, also guided me away from a friend I had at the time, which turned out to be very fortuitous as I later found out how that 'friend' was leading me down a path that would have been very wrong for me. I don't know if this was information programmed into the stone all that time ago, or if the moonstone helped me to 'open up' to that info, but Ibelieve whatever it was I would never have reached that point and those revelations without the black moonstone.

DI talks a little about quartz crystals in 'Human Race Get Off Your Knees'. To paraphrase (probably badly) he says he's not sure whether they have a negative influence on all the new age types, and are part of the control systems to hold them back.

I would disagree, I think crystals are a real enhancement in my life, although I do think that there is disinfo put about, for example, I would never 'cleanse' them in moonlight, which a lot of people do, a conclusion I've come to thanks to DI and his info on the moon matrix (I just put them under running water, i'm lucky in that there is a natural spring a few miles from me, but in my experience, holding them under a tap really is fine, its all about your intention in cleansing them that is important.)

I've never actually used them for healing but my Mum uses Rhodonite for short term pain relief for her arthritis, she has a palm stone of it which she rubs on her knee and she says it works a treat.

i'm not really sure what 'got me into' crystals, to be honest..... i think i bought a small amethyst geode, because i really liked them and it kinda built from there....

i studied crystal healing, and went to a two year course, which was kinda cool, but the academia of it i found really hard, because i find the concept of crystals and academics are kinda at odds with each other - though i am quite academically minded, and have a great affinity with crystals :0

Now i have lots of crystals dotted around the place, some very, very rare to find ones - i love my Lemurian seed crystals, and they make an awesome grid to meditate in - very trippy

I kinda focus on the energy vibration of crystal frequencies, and although they have fantastic healing ability, i see their awakening frequencies as being perfectly in-tune with our spiritual awakening and awareness - and that awakening kinda goes hand in hand with their healing attributes

i love to just sit back or lie down with a crystal on each chakra and just let myself go into that ocean of colour and resonance - it's a perfect balance imo

i'm working at the moment on making some energy discs from Selenite (one of my favorite crystals) with a small piece of meteoric olivine placed on each one with a few small herkimer diamonds, making one for each chakra, and then working with them in meditation Should be a really nice experience when they are done - and it's already a real nice buzz making them

Meteoric olivine is a crystal from another world, carried here in Pallesite meteorites: they're typically yellow-green and quite small, finger nail size or smaller, and originate in the crustal layers of an impacted planet(oid) or asteroid - you can buy them from ebay but they're quite expensive.

i kinda have a natural affinity to phenacite and moldavite, the Satyaloka quartz's (if you can find genuine ones - the market is so flooded with people trying to make a fast buck and saling standard quartz's as specialist quartz - as if quartz isn't magical enough ) are pretty amazing too, and Lemurian seed crystals are something else

Moonstone is one of the gentlest crystals, really nice for working on the chakra's with - cleanse it and charge it in moonlight across the full or new moon

For the longest time i found clear quartz quite a sharp crystal, but i've come to love its energy, and now if anyone asks me for a healing i'll work solely with clear quartz a lot of the time as it's energy is perfect

I have several. I use all mine to meditate with at different times of my life, and depending on the purpose of the meditation. I am gonna sound really mental here, but I place the crystal over my pineal gland and the meditation I achieve is spectacular. I also receive an extremely powerful feeling when I place the crystal on my head (when I'm lying down) and at times, it can be akin to an orgasm. It's very odd!

So far, my collection includes amethyst, quartz, smokey quartz, rose quartz, labrodorite and shungite.

I can only go by what the crystals have brought me, but I sat a bunch of exams this past year and every time, I did a wee ten minute meditation at the beginning with my smokey quartz and focused, and passed all but one....the one I didn't take my crystal to! So, this could be a mega co-incidence but I ain't testing it :P

I find shungite to be extremely powerful. The energy it omits is mad..read up on it You won't want to put it down if you ever hold a piece. Shungite is wonderful for clearing negative energy.

So yeah, I'm pretty happy with my crystals

Edit - doh, totally forgot about my sodalite pendant as well. And yeah I agree with only wear them for healing as required, do not wear my pendant all the time.

I had a crystal skull once from crystal skulls.com

They charge them in communion with an actual crystal skull the Tibetan one I think

It felt very powerful

I felt its energy and did meditations with it

I concluded it was too powerful for me at the time so I actually threw it away

I wish I would have kept it

I'll probably buy another some day

I purchased two crystals in the hope that they would help me heal myself.... no good so far, but I will still use them.

Used to collect stones as a kid, it kind of remindet me of that time and that stones back then, actually brought me luck!

lol, my kidneys produce stones that are quite sparkly when held into the light.... does that count?


I do have a stone with crystals in it. Actually half a stone or I wouldn't have noticed.
The crystals were purple but have turned white over time, not sure what kind they are or what properties they might have...

Sometimes crystals will bleach if left in strong / direct sunlight, on a window-sill etc, as the light bleaches their colours. Sunlight will bleach Amethyst over time, though delicate colors such as Petalite and Kunzite will bleach in a matter of hours if left in direct sunlight.

But sometimes they do change color also, i have a few crystals that have changed color over the time i have been looking after them

I have a very rare DiMiTrius crystal, I will share my experiences as soon as I have interpretated them into a language that is able to fully express it's power.

I've a good few, my favourite is a large quartz, helps calm headaches for me.

My 11yr old son has over the last 4 yrs or so added to the collection, he has a real attraction to them

Don't know where you are in the world, but if you are in London then there is the most fantastic huge slice of meteorite in the Natural History Museum...it is studded with thousands of Olivines, and is amazing. Very 'alive', not just a bit of rock sitting in a glass cabinet.

I have loads of them.

don't know which ones are good for what but i have some placed next to the telly, phone, radio etc. (along with some organite)

i also have a big bowl full of them so their energies are probably all clashing and cancelling out any good.

read recently (cant remember where) that specific benefits of diff crystals had previously been based partly on their colour but now there's more evidence to show its the vibrational frequency of each one.

also polished crystals lose some of their energy. so you should go for rough ones, although i guess blasting them out of rock faces with explosvs wont do much for their healing energy either.
