Default Underground

So in "Bad Times" where would you guys head for safety ?
Anyone ever think of underground ?
As a "hobby" of mine i have re-searched and personaly been inside many of this countries disused underground tunnels, bunkers, air raid shelters, mines, caves, sewers, river culverts etc.
Places you would not even know existed are right under your feet in most towns and cities in the UK and abroad, hidden and mostly forgotten about, some easily accessible, others not so without carefull planning and knowledge of these environments plus other skills such as abseiling,SRT etc.

Great places to hide out, safely move from one to another etc

Worth thinking about

Yes mate, majority of them are either burnt out by chavs or under a few feet of water, quite a few have been looked after by enthusiasts though.

I would be very suprised, i bet it's only is a very small percentage of the general public who ever give a second thought to what they would do in a SHTF scenario, and only a very small percentage of them who would know where they could go safely underground, and even fewer who have the knowledge, skills and equipment to do so.
I might be wrong mate but that's my thoughts on it.
Apart from those i go out with, nobody else i know socially or through work etc has a clue whats underground never mind where to find it
I know all about Subbrit, most of the "interesting" suff on the subject on the forums (not particularly Subbrit) is kept out of the public view and posted in private sections

I love finding out about things like this, there are a lot of underground tunnels that people don't know about, most of them have been filled in, but there must be some that are accessible.
I have fantasied about such tunnels and think that there are bound to be some that are 'populated' by people living off the grid, coming up at night to feed etc, but that's a fantasy.

Wink Underground living >I'd rather depart this reality

While reading about these Underground communities and facilities past and present excites the imagination, I think if there is a possibility of the necessity of underground living, I'd rather depart this (virtual) reality and select/create another one

How?

The afterlife is another virtual reality
http://www.in5d.com/forum/index.php?...sg3545#msg3545

Prove it for yourself and have out of body experiences to create/select other virtual realities. Your self awareness and engagement of your (virtual) senses feels just as real or more real (possess extra senses) than this waking physical reality (primary focus). Also your thoughts are manifested instantly.
