Sunspot 1476 / Solar Update
Now one of the largest Sunspots in years, Region 1476 is currently in a great position for Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections. The only problem has been producing a solar flare that would also in turn, generate a large plasma cloud. This could change in the days ahead. There will continue to be a chance for a major X-Class event.

IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 09/2100Z
to 10/2100Z: Solar activity has been at high levels for the past 24
hours with multiple M-class solar flares observed. Region 1476
(N12E08) was responsible for almost all of the activity with 3
M-class events observed, the largest being a M5/2b event at
10/0418Z. Associated with these events, were discrete frequency
radio bursts, Tenflares, and even a Type IV radio sweep. Region 1476
has shown mixed growth and shear effects across the polarities as it
continues to evolve. A weak Earth directed CME was observed in
STEREO COR2 A and B imagery early in the period. Analysis and
current models show this CME joining the current coronal hole high
speed stream (CH HSS). Region 1477 (S22E47) was split into two
regions today as SDO magnetogram data indicated the leader and
follower sunspot groups were actually two magnetic bipoles. Leader
group is Region 1477 and follower group is now Region 1478 (S24E55).

IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at
moderate levels with a slight chance for X-class events for the next
three days (11 - 13 May) as Region 1476 continues to grow and
evolve.

IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 09/2100Z to 10/2100Z:
The geomagnetic field has been at quiet to active levels for the past
24 hours with an isolated minor storm period observed at high
latitudes. Solar wind measurements, as observed by the ACE
spacecraft, showed a continued increase in solar wind speeds to
around 620 km/s, a drop off in solar wind density, and the total IMF
began to stabilize around 5 nT. These characteristics are indicative
of a CH HSS. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous
orbit reached high levels during the period.

IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is
expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels with a chance for active
periods for the next three days (11 - 13 May). The increased
activity is due to both the continued CH HSS effects and three weak,
slow moving CMEs intertwined within.

i think they r looking for an excuse to close the electric grid
this would paralyse most countries

no pumps for fuel
no hospital equipment

the perfect opportunity to impose martial law

and we know what that means dont we?

A strong impulsive solar flare peaking to M5.7 by Active Region 11476 at 04:18 UTC May 10th. This event also generated a 10cm Radio Burst (TenFlare). This is the 4th M-Class flare in 24 hours from this growing region(now 1050 Millionths). No visible Coronal Mass Ejection(CME) was observed following this eruption.

Massive object recorded by Cor 2 (white-Light) (SECCHI) Stereo 'A' satellite. Recorded 2 April 2012. This object is at least three times the size of Earth, and seems to be in a fixed orbit around the sun. Able, not only to withstand the tremendous temperature emanating from the suns surface, but also its massive gravitational pull. At certain points also, you can clearly see the Suns plasma rays bounce over the spherical anomaly, this proves the object is not a glitch but is in fact a real object, only question is what is it.

CHANCE OF FLARES, EARTH-DIRECTED:
NOAA forecasters estimate a 75% chance of M-class solar flares and a 20% chance of X-flares during the next 24 hours.
Any eruptions are likely to be geoeffective because the source, sunspot AR1476, is directly facing our planet.

ENLIL is a time-dependent 3D MHD model of the heliospherei, developed by D. Odstrcil (George Mason University and NASA GSFC Space Weather Laboratory). It solves equations for plasmai mass, momentum and energy density, and magnetic field, using a Flux-Corrected-Transport (FCT) algorithm. Its inner radial boundary is located beyond the sonic point, typically at 21.5 or 30 solar radii. The real-time run uses Wang-Sheeley-Arge (WSA) for inner boundary conditions. The outer radial boundary can be adjusted to include planets or spacecraft of interest (eg 2 AU to include both Earth and Mars, 5 AU to include Ulyssesi, 10 AU to include Cassini). It covers 60 degrees north to 60 degrees south in latitudei and 360 degrees in azimuth.

they are saying this is a M5 class .....but I don't believe them.....I think it is bigger.....an X class.....either way it shoud hit Earth late thursday /early Friday mornng.....
