I'm not saying guns sales didn't go up. That's not my point. My point is that people have been attributing to Obama something caused by the NRA and other fearmongers.

Nor was I voicing my own opinion about the President. I was stating my opinion about the mindset of those who made "run on the bank" ammo purchases for no reason.

The people who ran up the gun sales were not ordinary gun and ammo consumers. They were people who viewed Obama as "the other" in one or more ways. The NRA made big noise about Obama, claiming he was going to take away our guns.

Since your reading comprehension doesn't seem to be improving and the thread has been edited by mods, perhaps I should just leave it at that and walk away now.

The NRA is NOT a fear monger organization. It is a political organization and information center that lobbys for 2nd amendment rights and informs it's members on which politicians oppose those rights
