Sarkozy funded by Gadaffi in 2007

According to the french news channel France 24 the 2007 campaign for Sarkozys presidency was part funded by Colonel Gadaffi!

They showed papers in arabaic that claimed to show some high up Libyan afficial had signed off 15 million euros to help fund Sarkozy.

If this is true then it shows how corrupt Sarkozy is. It also shows why Sarkozy was so willing to get rid of Gadaffi.

Now my question is this: If it has just been on a news channel is it because certain people don't want Sarkozy to win? Something like this will surely sway the voters to the other candidate.
