yes, they did, but should the issue at hand be outlawed or be frowned upon if people want to talk about it?

Fucking makes me sick. It comes down to immaturity and a lack of self respect.

Its irrelevant is he IS a good guy or not. It doesn't matter. What matters id that you need him to follow, or you are lost. And that makes you cannon fodder.
One way or the other, you seem to have a stronger reaction to him than most.

No it's not. It was weak minded tendencies that got him addicted to start with. Do you admire weakness?

Just why being a junkie makes him suitable to give any kind of opinion on anything drug related is beyond me, unless of course the elites are using his celebrity status to delude the weak minded fools in this thread.

He isn't funny folks. And using long words doesn't make you intelligent or a great orator. He is verbose. Nothing more.

And as a celebrity, no matter how much he talks about spirituality, connectedness, and other meaningless crap he think will make him sound clever, he has still sold his soul to the highest bidder and is spending the materialism he earns.

Quit the idolatry folks, it makes you look like chumps.

Unless you are without human weakness, you have no room to judge. It just makes you come off as an arrogant, hypocritical asshole.

And what's it to you if people like him or not? You don't, and that's fine for you. But don't ridicule others for simply having another opinion. It's much ado about nothing.

I couldn't give a stuff about him, i don't watch TV, i know little about him other than he likes the sound of his own voice and is not funny in the slightest.

What i am more interested in, is why people who claim to be awake, enlightened and looking for truth and wisdom, feel the need to worship (and it is a form of worship) someone who is the almost perfect example of what is wrong with this world.

Superficial, egotistical, think of himself i am alright jack mentality.

Fucking pathetic how people on here are fawning & hero worshipping some guy just because they know him from there TV screens. Have you're own opinions about things anf if you really belive what you belive then it does'nt matter who else belives it.

If you don't care about him as you claim, then why do you have such strong opinions about him? Obviously you do care on some level.

It's just stupid to bash people for liking someone that you don't happen to like. Get over yourself.

Please, save the strawman for bonfire night, i hear they burn well.

I am not judging anyone, although you probably know that and just felt like a dig. If i was judging him i would call him a cunt.

I was merely pointing out that admiring an addict is a little strange to me. Maybe its just me? Maybe sitting around the house and divulging in the fantasy of your choice for short term gain and the detriment to your mental and physical health, your family and job is admirable in your eyes?

Why don't you have your own opinions and not bash people for having different opinions?

You and your friend there are being quite ridiculous on this thread.

What does being a former drug addict or a drug user have to do with anything? Many of the greatest artists were on drugs at some point or another. I'm not saying that Brand is of that caliber, but using his drug use as an excuse to bash him is ludicrous.

And yes you are judging people. You're judging Brand because of his history with drugs and you are judging people who happen to like him for whatever reason. Don't try to lie, when I can read.

It's and ACT folks. He puts it on so immature little kids will look up to him and think hes cool. That's how he makes MONEY. Which he seems not to give away to charity, but instead spends it on illegal and legal drugs, women and clothes.

If you stop looking up to him folks that money will stop. And then we can see how spiritual he really is.

How do you know? Do you know him personally? Do you monitor his financial transactions?

I have nothing against drugs legal or illegal. But admiring someone because they are a former addict, which one poster stated, seems totally insane to me.

If that floats your boat, fine, Good luck and take care.

I think that person was saying that it was an admirable show of strength of will to be able to kick such an all-consuming, addictive drug. What exactly is wrong with that? It shows how strong a person is and their desire to change, when they are able to kick drug addiction. It is to be commended.

It makes a change seeing Russell Brand talk sensibly. Last time I saw him on TV,all he ever did was highlight his ball sack! Let alone his stint with Johnathan Ross.

I will say,He makes good points in the video,I wonder if people in their conspiracy mode, see his Jesus like presentation which has been similarly mentioned with David Rothschild,that,- perhaps there is some sort of subliminal heroic Savior mood being portrayed here.
you never know

Mate,I don't claim anything.
But I do have a large altar with beads, incense, skulls and inverted crosses ect.
all for the worship of people that have made me laugh at one time or another.
It's not a monotheistic tradition.
