I hear strange noises too and as of recently, they occure more often now. It can sometimes be a high pitched tone, sometimes low. But they come without warning. Just happen.
I think it's pretty cool and all lol |

If it's that frequent, get them to record it as clearly as possible and post it up.

Interesting! I get wierd noises in my ears too, a sort of high-pitched whistling. It can be very loud, especially if I'm tired. Now and then a really loud "eeeeee" noise kicks in for a few seconds. I always thought it was tinnitus, but maybe there's more to it. When I was a child, I used to be able to hear the famous "Bristol Hum", but as I've got older, I've lost the ability.

You're hearing frequency changes and yes you can hear them from earthquake activity.

I've been hearing my pulse/heartbeat in my left ear, sometimes right for a couple of months now.....I think it's called Pulsatile tinnitus.....It's really getting on my nerves. I need to get it checked out.

I have very bad tinnitus due to too much loud music in my youth as a 'raver'.
I constantly have the usual high pitched tones and some lower pitched tones as well as other strange noises like buzzing and clicking. Also unfortunately my hearing has deteriorated really bad over the years, especially in my left ear and it's increasingly getting worse :/ But I never did consider any of the sounds I hear to be from an external source... I suppose it could be possible!
