He was a member of the masonic group Grand Order of Water Rats. As a lapsed Catholic, he was in fact part of the Jesuit Order and his plans to revive 'The Comedians' was seen as breaking the Extreme Oath. Last but not least, he supported Blackpool which is justification enough for a clandestine attack. Ladies and Gentlemen, the evidence is overwhelming!
