![]() Rick Santorum says if he gets elected, "he will pass laws makeing it not easy for Americans to get Porn". SAY WHAT??????? Has this man been living in a cave or something? We got major problems in this country that need to be addressed, easy access to pronography just ain't one of them. WTF? WE got tax payer Banker bailouts, Fighting multiple, winnable, illegal wars, Almost "0" manufacturing, Government given the right to assassinate it's own citizens, shit for foreign policy, shit for domestic policy, legal torture, a costly, useless, war on drugs, an unsustainable big government, and hundreds of other major, big time, problems, and this stupid, ignorant, bastard is worried about porn? The only one who has addressed any of the real problems facing the US, or even acknowledged they exists is, Ron Paul. Ron Paul in 2012 Last edited by arcyclus; 18-03-2012 at 01:09 AM. |

If Ron Paul does win, what then?
Does he have the power to make changes without congress? Can he really just disolve everthing cause he is the new messiah? I like the things Ron Paul has to say, but it is just a revolving door. He wants to audit the FED, but the FED is audited every year, read the CFR. Real change will happen when we grow up and stop believing in fairytales. Does he have the power to make changes without congress? Why not Obama and Bush did? We are still involved in wars without congressional approval. As I pointed out in the OP, Ron Paul is the only one who has brought the real issues facing this country to the debate table. The rest have done squat. If not Ron Paul, then who? I have to agree with the OP that Ron Paul is the best GOP alternative.

Your answer is to create a dictator, and then what? Ron Paul has not exposed the illusion that is Government, that is the crux of the insanity in this world, why not? |

[quote=nudehermit;1060696077]What the hell are you talking about? That's not what I am advocating at all.
If you want to know the real scoop on Ron Paul here it is.... http://www.ontheissues.org/ron_paul.htm If you just want to troll or argue for the sake of arguing go elsewhere. |

If you cannot see through the game of politics yet you will continue to argue for it, I am not arguing, just pointing out the faults in your reasoning. Audit the FED, it is done every year for those that actually research what the hell is really happening. Last edited by nudehermit; 18-03-2012 at 05:01 AM. |

My take on Paul is essentially this: I'd rather vote for him than any other current candidate. Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, and of course Obama merely represent more of the same, that much is obvious. Maybe Ron Paul is controlled opposition, Illuminati, etc. At least if I vote for him, I tried. Even if Paul is Obama 2.0, it's not like he would be much/any worse a President than our other choices, since it's obvious that it really doesn't matter much who is in office, as far as the most important issues go (ie, foreign policy, domestic liberties).
I'd love to see Ron Paul as the next American President (although I doubt the PTB would let it happen, as we've already been seeing in the GOP primary), but even if he ends up as just another deceiver, is there really any harm in electing him over another phony? If he was actually allowed to be elected, but didn't reverse the trend in the country, do you think he would be so much worse than any other GOP candidate or another Obama term? Of course, Congress plays a more important role in all this than most people either realize or want to believe, but if Paul is elected, I'd like to believe he would have some kind of positive influence, despite any shortcomings of the Congress. |

Santorum is an evil nasty mf'er. Santorum has wet dreams about having power. He would try to outlaw dozens of things. With respect to cannabis, he would have an orgasm every time someone was arrrested with weed.
Santorum is doing well simply because people are eager to vote for a conservative and Santorum is the closest the republicans have to a conservative other than Ron Paul. Unfortunately Santorum isn't really a conservative. He's just another fascist. |
