Arrow KONY 2012 - Real or Lead Up To New World Order?

So, is this real? Is this part of the "2012 awakening/higher consciousness shift"... Or.. is this the part of the New World Order plan to make "all nations unite against a common cause"?

Most "conspiracy theorists" expected them to fake an alien invasion to unite the nations, but what if this is their way of doing it instead?

Of course, if you tell this to anyone supporting the movement - which is about 50% of my friends on facebook - they for one, won't know what you're talking about - since they don't know much about NWO, and two, they'll think your a complete asshole. I can already see it... "So your saying we shouldn't capture a mass murderer killing children in Africa?!!? What the fuck!?"

What a better way for the global elite to bring about a one world, totalitarian government?

"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order"

OR!!!

What if this is done to ruin Ron Paul? They already tried to block him on the media, and they already tried to make him look racist.

Think about it.

Ron Paul is against going into other countries.. His policy is to mind our own business.. This KONY campaign will get everyone in America to want to go after KONY, yet it would be against Ron Paul's foreign policy to go into Africa and get him, so they're basically trapping Ron Paul. They either make him look like a bad guy for not wanting to go in and capture the guy -- or they make him look like he can't stick to his policies.

Thoughts?!!

I dont profess to know anything much to be fair but after watching the KONY 2012 video on Twitter today i too have an uneasy feeling about it.
I follow lots of truther types on twitter and so far i havent seen anyone doubting it. Its all gone crazy with everyone putting it up..
It was very emotive and i can see why its moving people...i cried while watching it but then the doubts set in.
Its being endorsed by Rhianna, Jay Z, and Bono among others
All the usual suspects.
Like the guy in the video says....we must keep our minds open...

Keep your mind open, but don't allow too much rubbish to accumulate.

I don't trust it, but I am keeping an open mind.

Its seems to be a typical american production - well funded, well produced - and I for one believe if we are to truely make a difference in this world change must begin within the individual. It was quite obvious to me that the people involved in this are still unconsious of the true nature of reality and tptb that have conditioned us in the first place. Plus, I dont like the fact certain MS celebs have got involved.

Something smells fishy to me

A file photo taken on November 12, 2006, shows the leader of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), Joseph Kony, answering journalists' questions in Ri-Kwamba, southern Sudan, following a meeting with UN humanitarian chief Jan Egeland.
The half-hour film, made by the U.S. charity Invisible Children, was posted on YouTube and the charity’s website less than 48 hours ago and by Wednesday morning, had been viewed more than four million times.

The hashtag #StopKony was trending in the number one spot on Twitter in Canada and the U.S., as scores of users, including Justin Bieber, posted links to the film and encouraged others to get involved.

The film opens with a scene of filmmaker Jason Russell’s son’s birth, and then briefly documents the experience of a child soldier in Uganda named Jacob.

Possibly to take attention away from Hollie Greig, the social services and courts are colluding to separate her and Anne at the moment.
'They' don't want you to support Hollie do they?

problem reaction solution........

in the vid it says the koni dude has moved from uganda and is all over the place nowadays. remember they went into afghanistan and iraq under the guise of looking for OBL....just one man......they used his face to create hype for the occupation of these lands.
now they have their puppets in place in some north african countries, libya, egypt and tunisia,
they'll let this kony campaign go viral/mainstream and the whole world will cry out for them to go looking for him in the rest of africa saving all the kids on the way.

they only want whats best for us y'no

told about this by someone at work....theres no doubt the video is slick, had a few moments of disquiet ...the symbolism for one...but its powerful...think this could be pandoras box....lets presume they do paint the towns with his picture and he does indeed get captured...on the one hand it shows that many can ensure the few dont get away with things....but on the other hand...could a goebells type pin doctor/propaganda king create a stir to whip the world into a fervour...and welcome in the new world order

think about what the "world" would have done in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 (when 80% of the world believed muslim terrorists did it!)

but then icke does talk about we are one...maybe if this works ....its proof positive of the power of the many?

When I first watched this I thought "Hey, great! This is what we need! I wake up call!"

But then I started thinking how simplistic the whole thing was "Stop one guy, stop everything".

Anyone notice how when they showed the top deadliest people, they always showed Gadaffi first?

I'm sure most on here are aware that Gadaffi was by no means an evil guy.

They said it was a 30 min experiment?

A 30 min experiment for what?

To see how easily they could manipulate the facebook crowd for a cause?

I wouldn't be suprised if there are links to some kind of dodgy government-related organization.

Possibly it's meant to be a count to the large online resistance?

We should watch this carefuly.

I'm going to do some more research.

KONY 2012 is the product of a group called Invisible Children, a controversial activist group and not-for-profit. They’ve released 11 films, most with an accompanying bracelet colour (KONY 2012 is fittingly red), all of which focus on Joseph Kony. When we buy merch from them, when we link to their video, when we put up posters linking to their website, we support the organization. I don’t think that’s a good thing, and I’m notalone.

Invisible Children has been condemned time and time again. As a registered not-for-profit, its finances are public. Last year, the organization spent $8,676,614. Only 32% went to direct services (page 6), with much of the rest going to staff salaries, travel and transport, and film production. This is far from ideal, and Charity Navigator rates their accountability 2/4 stars because they haven’t had their finances externally audited. But it goes way deeper than that.

The group is in favour of direct military intervention, and their money supports the Ugandan government’s army and various other military forces. Here’s a photo of the founders of Invisible Children posing with weapons and personnel of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army. Both the Ugandan army and Sudan People’s Liberation Army are riddled with accusations of rape and looting, but Invisible Children defends them, arguing that the Ugandan army is “better equipped than that of any of the other affected countries”, although Kony is no longer active in Uganda andhasn’t been since 2006 by their own admission. These books each refer to the rape and sexual assault that are perennial issues with the UPDF, the military group Invisible Children is defending.

Still, the bulk of Invisible Children’s spending isn’t on supporting African militias, but on awareness and filmmaking. Which can be great, except that Foreign Affairs has claimed that Invisible Children (among others) “manipulates facts for strategic purposes, exaggerating the scale of LRA abductions and murders and emphasizing the LRA’s use of innocent children as soldiers, and portraying Kony — a brutal man, to be sure — as uniquely awful, a Kurtz-like embodiment of evil.” He’s certainly evil, but exaggeration and manipulation to capture the public eye is unproductive, unprofessional and dishonest.

As Chris Blattman, a political scientist at Yale, writes on the topic of IC’s programming, “There’s also something inherently misleading, naive, maybe even dangerous, about the idea of rescuing children or saving of Africa. […] It hints uncomfortably of the White Man’s Burden. Worse, sometimes it does more than hint. The savior attitude is pervasive in advocacy, and it inevitably shapes programming. Usually misconceived programming.”

Still, Kony’s a bad guy, and he’s been around a while. Which is why the US has been involved in stopping him for years. U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) has sent multiple missions to capture or kill Kony over the years. And they’ve failed time and time again, each provoking a ferocious response and increased retaliative slaughter. The issue with taking out a man who uses a child army is that his bodyguards are children. Any effort to capture or kill him will almost certainly result in many children’s deaths, an impact that needs to be minimized as much as possible. Each attempt brings more retaliation. And yet Invisible Children supports military intervention. Kony has been involved in peace talks in the past, which have fallen through. But Invisible Children is now focusing on military intervention.

Military intervention may or may not be the right idea, but people supporting KONY 2012 probably don’t realize they’re supporting the Ugandan military who are themselves raping and looting away. If people know this and still support Invisible Children because they feel it’s the best solution based on their knowledge and research, I have no issue with that. But I don’t think most people are in that position, and that’s a problem.

Is awareness good? Yes. But these problems are highly complex, not one-dimensional and, frankly, aren’t of the nature that can be solved by postering, film-making and changing your Facebook profile picture, as hard as that is to swallow. Giving your money and public support to Invisible Children so they can spend it on supporting ill-advised violent intervention and movie #12 isn’t helping. Do I have a better answer? No, I don’t, but that doesn’t mean that you should support KONY 2012 just because it’s something. Something isn’t always better than nothing. Sometimes it’s worse.

If you want to write to your Member of Parliament or your Senator or the President or the Prime Minister, by all means, go ahead. If you want to post about Joseph Kony’s crimes on Facebook, go ahead. But let’s keep it about Joseph Kony, not KONY 2012.

Default Koney 2012

My 13 year old daughter came home from school today to ask me if id ever heard of Joseph Koney. Rather surprised when i said "no" she explained to me how everybody was talking about it at the moment, and that even her teachers had been showing films about it in school! She then found me this video since Id never heard about this until today. It all seems a little odd to me, even stranger is it has had over 6 million hits in one day! What are your opinions on this? Is this for real or just mass propaganda to further the elites agenda?
