I haven't been following it much - did wikileaks first draw attention to this completely trivial and irrelevant email, or some other person or group?

Whoever it was must have known that people already wet at the knees for Julian Assange wouldn't look too closely and would actually think it means something.

Can you point to where in the emails it says he wasnt buried at sea?

From the emails:

Those are the two quotes which mention the body being dumped at sea. Other than the two people saying that they 'doubt' it happened, can you explain how either of the two emails prove anything?


Did anybody actually read the emails? Or did they just get caught up in the news story because it 'proved' their already exsisting notions correct?
