Default English Paedophile Walks Free From Court.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012...n_1195462.html

Quote:
A paedophile who amassed the largest haul of sick images of children ever recovered by the Metropolitan Police walked free from court today.

Robert James Barrow, 57, of Plaistow, East London, amassed the collection of around a million images of children from a range of sources over a 15-year period, Scotland Yard said.

Detectives believe he used the pictures for his own gratification as well as sharing them with other paedophiles.

Despite admitting a series of charges including making and possessing indecent images of children - some at Level 5, the most serious - Barrow was sentenced to a 12-month jail term suspended for two years.

He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register for 10 years, issued with a three-month curfew and made the subject of a sexual offences prevention order when he appeared at Southwark Crown Court.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh, of the Met's Paedophile Unit, said: "The seizure of images from Barrow is the largest ever seen by my unit in relation to one individual."

"His activities were on an industrial scale."

To put his collection in perspective, it would take 347 days to view the entire collection - allowing 30 seconds per image with no breaks.

"Possession of indecent images of children is not a victimless crime as each image possessed or distributed represents a child that has been sexually abused in order that the image can exist."

"The circulation of those images around the internet magnifies that abuse."

Fury as paedophile walks free

Quote:
A judge sparked outrage yesterday by letting a paedophile walk free as jail would “make him worse”.

Christopher arno, 21, had 874 vile images of children on a computer when arrested at his grandmother’s house in bexleyheath, kent, in may.

The images included 200 graded at level five, which can include scenes of torture.

Arno admitted 13 charges of possessing indecent images and could have been jailed for 18 months. Judge alistair mccreath, at southwark crown court, said that by looking at the images arno was complicit in the abuse. But he told the defendant he would impose a 12-month community order as he “was still young” and locking him up with other sex offenders would “make someone like you worse”.

Child welfare groups condemned the comments. Emma clarke, of against child abuse, said: “these people should be locked up for as long as possible. Children need to be protected.”

Claude Knights, of kidscape, said a jail sentence with effective treatment would provide a “greater deterrent”.

Psychic paedophile hypnotist found hanged in prison

http://www.tntmagazine.com/news/uk/p...nged-in-prison

A paedophile, who worked as a psychic and a hypnotist, and whose partner is accused of killing their two children in a Spanish hotel, has been found hanged in prison.

Martin Smith was 12 months into a 16-year jail sentence after sexually abusing his victim from when she was seven years old.

A Prison Service spokesman said the 46-year-old was found hanging by staff at HMP Manchester on Monday at about 6.30pm.

Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful and he died at 7pm.

Smith's children Rebecca, five, and Daniel, 11 months, were found dead in a hotel on the Costa Brava in May 2010.

Their mother, Lianne Smith, 43, is awaiting trial in Spain accused of their murder.

Martin was a former Butlins entertainer who appeared as a guest psychic on Living TV's Most Haunted.

He was found guilty in December 2010 of rape, attempted rape, indecency with a child and indecent assault between May 1995 and May 2004.

At his trial at Liverpool Crown Court, it was revealed Martin would attempt to hypnotise, hit and bully his young female victim, who is now in her 20s, to get her to comply.

Martin and Lianne, who shared a surname but were not married, fled from their home in North Shields, UK in December 2007 after Smith was accused of sex attacks on the girl.

Days after he was extradited back, Lianne was accused of smothering the children with a plastic bag.

I always found the CJS's handling of serious crimes in recent years pretty perplexing, I never understood why such lenient sentences were handed out to such dangerous people. I then did a criminology degree (and passed with a commendation I might add), which at the time I was naive enough to think would be all about how best to catch criminals and how best to deal with them with the aim of building a peaceful and just society. Needless to say I had a terrifying wake up. I spent most of my time sitting in a room with a bunch of people, many much older and more experienced with me going "whats going on? why are we even talking about this shit?" (the shit in question was restorative justice, the cost of prisons, the legitimacy of the criminal justice system, and even a fun little psychological profiling assignment which allowed us to pretend we were on CSI - this is "higher" education btw).

One thing I do understand and that mainstream criminology will freely admit is that a vast proportion of paedophiles are not sexually motivated. This is why chemical castration does not work, literal castration would not work either - they would simply abuse children in other ways. Which should beg the question, what is it they want? But you watch the mainstream news and you will notice they often "explain" that paedophiles are people who are sexually attracted to children.

Nothing in the world ever works the way we think it will, the problem we have at the moment is that, through trauma based mind control what was once the sick ritual of the inhuman elite is now being disseminated to society at large. Therefore we have this unprecedented rise is in the number of people abusing kids. The reason they are doing it I'm not sure about, but the obvious one would be the creation of even more misery and suffering that their political and industrial soul mates seem to enjoy- food for the predator.

Paedophiles should be given the bullet. One shot in the eye from 1cm away with a .357 magnum. Done.

Anyone wanna take bets on who gets to him first?
Parents of kids or some trigger happy "criminal" with morals?

Someone should kidnap his ass and take him apart piece by piece.

The system is definitely soft on 'convicted' pedophiles, the reason why is most likely to be because those controlling the system are pedophiles themselves.

Default Church of England regret at Paedophile Clergy

Church’s regret at paedophile clergy

http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/95675...ophile_clergy/

Quote:
The Church of England has offered an “unreserved apology” for historic cases of child abuse by some members of its clergy.

Officials said it was a matter of “great sorrow and deep regret” and they recognised the harm caused to the victims.

The apology coincided with the publication of another critical report detailing how convicted paedophile Roy Cotton went on to be ordained as a priest.

Cotton was convicted of indecent behaviour with a child in 1954 aged 25 while in training for the priesthood. Further damaging allegations were made against him years later.

He was dismissed from theological college, later sacked from a prep school following claims made by boys and banned by the Scout movement.

But despite his criminal past, he was readmitted to theological training and was ordained in 1966, the same year he was at theological college with his friend Colin Pritchard – later jailed for child abuse.

Access to young people

The Scouts agreed to relicense Cotton after he apparently persuaded his diocesan supporters to lobby the movement, the report by independent reviewer Roger Meekings said.

It said: “This was a significant step as it resulted in Cotton receiving ‘authorised’ and unsupervised access to young people in organised groups.

"It enabled him to be regarded as an authority figure and a person ‘of trust’ by parents.”

In 1997 Cotton and Pritchard were arrested by Sussex Police detectives on suspicion of sexually abusing children.

Cotton retired in 1999 and in the same year the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) decided to drop its case against the pair. Cotton died in 2006.

Pritchard, who was vicar at St Barnabas Church in Bexhill-on-sea, East Sussex, was jailed for five years at Northampton Crown Court in 2008 after pleading guilty to abusing two children from 1979 to 1983.

The Archbishop of Canterbury banned him from exercising any priestly ministry for life.

Procedures not followed

The Meekings report said the way Cotton came to be ordained and how he was given the green light as a Scout leader was “fraught with concerns and questions”.

Cotton managed to achieve both due to the time that had elapsed since his conviction in 1954 and because senior officers played down the seriousness of it, the report added.

Procedures in sharing information were not followed and the victims were denied the opportunity of being believed, it went on.

Concern was also raised about the issuing of licences to allow both Pritchard and Cotton to continue acting as priests after they retired, particularly as Cotton’s conviction from 1954 was known to the church authorities.

A series of recommendations was made, including training senior staff in the diocese in the management of allegations and establish a diocesan child protection management group.
