Thread concentrating on the United Airlines Flight 93, which took a nose-down dive into a coal strip mine in Pennsylvania.

Very few planes crash at an almost 90' angle. This video looks at a few similar examples and corresponding crash sites:

So why do some people think that the plane either wasn't there or was taken down by a missile? Please present evidence of possible missiles in a clear format, and be prepared to elaborate. Any eyewitnesses must be quoted in context.

A Boeing 757 is 47m long, around 18m from nose to engine
Some of the wing scars can be seen on the ground but not to their full length

The crater was approximately 15ft deep and 20ft wide

The plane is reported to have taken a steep nose dive which could have been from 40 to 80 degrees with inverted altitude at 500-600 mph

Could you please stick to answering the question instead of relying on preconceived ideas.

Explain why there is an 'elephant in the living room' so we can all understand.

Obviously you don't consider the fact that Flight 93 never crashed into an iconic building in a major city anything to do with the relative lack of interest?

Noone has yet explained their theories regarding flight 93 with regard to evidence. This does not make a convincing counter arguement. Please keep this discussion free of insults.

This website suggests that the plane was shot down and directed into a trench!

But how? I mean you wouldn't be able to predict how it was going to land like that. The other problem is that the trench is in completely the wrong place!

It also suggests that all of the passengers from the flights were loaded onto this one 757 flight. Where on earth is the evidence of this?
